For the 2024 and later Suzuki V-Strom 800DE, LOBOO hard luggage consists of two independent supports: the JP421B side frame for the cases and the JP421W plate for the top case. The CONQUEROR side cases are a 35-liter C35L on the left and a 30-liter C30R on the right, shaped around the exhaust. The top case is either the 40-liter C40T or a 36- or 45-liter PIKE TRACKER. The complete set provides 105 liters and installs without drilling.

The asymmetry is intentional: the exhaust outlet passes on the right side, and the case is recessed to leave room for it.

Why the right side is smaller
The C30R is shaped around the exhaust outlet: five fewer liters than the left case mean a narrower motorcycle through difficult passages and a symmetrical load relative to the axis. On the CONQUEROR series, the recess reduces the depth from 243 to 207 mm.

High-strength aluminum alloy shell, riveted structure, sealed construction with gaskets. LOBOO does not state a certified IP rating for this series: electronics and documents still require a waterproof inner bag.

What is not stated
- The maximum load of the top case and JP421W plate does not appear on the product sheets.
- The permitted total weight of the loaded motorcycle must be checked in the registration document and the Suzuki manual.
- Frames and plate: the manual does not state the material, so we do not report it.
The load must be arranged so as not to compromise the vehicle's stability, as reminded by Article 164 of the Highway Code. With the cases mounted, the motorcycle is wider: the manufacturer recommends taking this into account.
Installation: five steps for the side frames, nine for the plate
No drilling and fully reversible, but the plate takes time: if you don't feel comfortable doing it, have a workshop handle it.
JP421B side frames, in brief
- Loosen and remove the original screws from the rear area indicated in the manual.
- Position the two frames and the crossbar without tightening.
- Check the alignment and make adjustments while the screws are still loose.
- Tighten the kit hardware to 20 N·m and the original screws reinstalled to 22 N·m.
- Check the torque within the first 100-200 km, then periodically if you use dirt roads frequently.

Pay attention to the 5 N·m. On the side fairing, the value is very low: it is the easiest torque setting to get wrong because you are working on plastic. The JP421W manual requires removing the rear side fairings to access the mounting points.

When this system is not the right choice
It makes sense if
- you take multi-day trips on asphalt and dirt roads
- you need rigid, lockable capacity
- you want to remove the panniers by hand in just a few seconds
Another option is better if
- you are looking for soft luggage to reduce weight off-road
- you have a road-going V-Strom 800 or another model
- you need a stated load rating for the top case
The CONQUEROR system specifications state that the same frames also accept the WANDERER semi-rigid panniers, while the JP421B frame manual mentions only PIKE TRACKER and CONQUEROR. Frequently asked questions
Which panniers fit the Suzuki V-Strom 800DE?
The LOBOO CONQUEROR system dedicated to the V-Strom 800DE from 2024 onward: 35-liter C35L left pannier, 30-liter C30R right pannier, and 40-liter C40T top case, for a total of 105 liters. They attach to two dedicated supports: the JP421B side frame and the JP421W mounting plate.
Do the LOBOO panniers also fit the road-going V-Strom 800, the 650, or the 1050?
No. The frames are specified only for the V-Strom 800DE from 2024 onward. The road-going 800, the 650, and the 1050 have different frames and their own codes.
Is the frame absolutely necessary?
Yes, the panniers and top case do not mount directly onto the motorcycle. The JP421B is required for the side panniers and the JP421W for the top case: they are two independent products, so you can mount either one or both.
How many liters does the complete set hold?
105 liters: 35 on the left, 30 on the right, and 40 in the top case.
Why is the right pannier smaller than the left?
Because the exhaust runs along the right side. The C30R is shaped around the exhaust outlet and has five liters less capacity than the C35L: the motorcycle remains narrower and the load is symmetrical around the axis.
Can I mount only the top case?
Yes, with the JP421W plate and a compatible top case. The plate does not require the side rack.
Which top cases fit the JP421W plate?
It has mounting points for P45T, P36T, T36T and C40T, namely the top cases in the PIKE TRACKER, TIBET and CONQUEROR series, according to the LOBOO manual. For top cases from other brands, it depends on the hole spacing: contact us with the model and year before ordering.
Do I need to drill the motorcycle?
No. The racks and plate are secured to the original mounting points with the supplied hardware, and the operations are reversible.
What torque should the screws be tightened to?
The kit hardware is tightened to 20 N·m, with 12 N·m for the plate's M6 screws. The motorcycle's original screws follow the Suzuki values given in the LOBOO manual: 22 N·m on the subframe and 5 N·m on the side fairing.
How much load can each pannier carry?
The CONQUEROR series manual states 10 kg for each side case. The top case and plate specifications do not state a maximum load, and without that information we do not provide one.
Are the panniers waterproof?
The construction is sealed with gaskets and designed for heavy rain, but LOBOO does not state a certified IP rating for this series. For electronics and documents, an internal waterproof bag is advisable.
The side cases are sold out: what can I do?
As of 05/10/2026, the C35L + C30R pair is sold out in silver and black. You can start with the rack and top case, which are available, and complete the setup with the side cases when they can be ordered again. Contact us for timing.
Are the panniers easy to remove?
Yes: they attach to the rack at nine points with quick release and can be removed by hand, without tools.
