Description Side Pannier Racks for Suzuki V-Strom 800DE from 2024 | PIKE TRACKER and CONQUEROR

Pair of side case racks for the Suzuki V-Strom 800DE from 2024 onward, as specified by LOBOO. This is the structure onto which the side cases attach: the cases are not included.

LOBOO calls it the Side Case Rack, code JP421B, and states that it is designed for cases from the PIKE TRACKER and CONQUEROR series. With either series, the pair provides 35 liters on the left and 30 on the right: the right case is shaped to clear the exhaust.

What you can mount on these racks

  • PIKE TRACKER aluminum cases P35L + P30R, in matte black or glossy silver: 498 × 268 × 408 mm and 6 kg on the left, 498 × 244/208 × 408 mm and 5.6 kg on the right. Complete dimensions and equipment are listed on the PIKE TRACKER aluminum cases page.

LOBOO aluminum cases can only be mounted on LOBOO racks, and hard cases from other manufacturers are not compatible with these racks.

What's included

The manual lists 8 items: left rack, right rack, connecting crossbar, 2 M8 × 20 screws, 4 M8 × 25 screws, 10 M8 washers, 4 M8 self-locking nuts, and threadlocker.

How they are installed

Five steps: first, remove the original screws indicated in the manual in the rear area; then install the left and right racks, reinstall the original screws, and finally secure the crossbar at the back. No drilling is required.

The kit screws must be tightened to 20 N·m, using the included threadlocker. The original Suzuki screws that are reinstalled must be tightened to 22 N·m: these are two different values, and the manual distinguishes between them. LOBOO asks you not to fully tighten the screws until you have completed the adjustments.

Top case and complete kit

The top case requires the JP421W top case plate, sold separately. If you want the racks and CONQUEROR cases in a single order, you can find them on the CONQUEROR cases for Suzuki V-Strom 800DE page.

For the racks in the LOBOO PIKE TRACKER system, LOBOO specifies stainless steel and aluminum alloy without indicating which part is made of which material. The weight and maximum load of the racks are not stated.

Which Suzuki models are the JP421B frames compatible with?

LOBOO declares them compatible with the Suzuki V-Strom 800DE from 2024 onward. The V-Strom 800, the 800RE, and other V-Strom models are not listed for this code: write to us with the model and year before ordering.

Are bags included?

No. The package includes the frames, crossbar, and hardware. The cases are sold separately, or together with the frames on the CONQUEROR cases page for the Suzuki V-Strom 800DE.

Which aluminum suitcases can I mount?

The manual lists the PIKE TRACKER and CONQUEROR series. With the PIKE TRACKER, the pair is P35L + P30R; with the CONQUEROR, it is C35L + C30R: in both cases, 35 liters on the left and 30 on the right, in black or silver.

Why is the suitcase on the right smaller?

Because the exhaust is on the right. The right case is shaped to clear it: the P30R has an overall depth of 244 mm at the top and 208 mm at the bottom, while the C30R measures 243 and 207 mm. That’s why it holds 30 liters compared with the left case’s 35.

Can I install soft bags instead of aluminum cases?

Yes: the WANDERER semi-rigid bags and the 23- and 30-liter ALPS inflatable bags fit the same frames. You can find them on their respective product pages.

What's in the package?

Eight items: left frame, right frame, connecting crossbar, 2 M8 × 20 screws, 4 M8 × 25 screws, 10 M8 washers, 4 M8 self-locking nuts, and threadlocker. Plus the manual.

What torque specifications are needed?

Torque: 20 N·m on the M8 kit screws, using the included threadlocker, and 22 N·m on the original Suzuki screws that are reinstalled. Tighten fully only after fitting all the parts and completing the adjustments.

How are they assembled?

In five steps: remove the original screws indicated in the rear area, install the left and right frames, reinstall the original screws, and finally secure the rear crossbar with the M8 × 20 screws. If you have no experience, have a workshop handle it.

Do you need to drill into the motorcycle?

No. The frames are attached to the motorcycle at the designated mounting points, using the original screws specified in the manual.

What is the crossbar used for?

Connect the two frames by routing behind, beneath the tail section. It is installed last, using the two M8 × 20 screws and washers. The self-locking nuts are instead used for the lower attachment of the frames, with the M8 × 25 screws.

What material are they made of, and how much do they weigh?

For the frames of the PIKE TRACKER LOBOO system, it indicates stainless steel and aluminum alloy without specifying which part is made of which material. The weight of the frames is not stated.

How much weight can they hold?

LOBOO does not specify a maximum load for the frames. For CONQUEROR cases, the user manual recommends not exceeding 10 kg per side case due to vibrations. The motorcycle's overall maximum load specified by Suzuki still applies.

Can I use suitcases from other brands?

No hard cases from other brands: LOBOO states that its aluminum cases can only be mounted on LOBOO frames. In addition to PIKE TRACKER and CONQUEROR, you can mount the WANDERER soft cases and the inflatable ALPS cases.

Are these frames enough to mount the top case?

No. The top case mounts on the JP421W top case plate, sold separately. The racks and plate together form the three-case system.
