Description Tubeless motorcycle tire repair kit with pliers and case

A nail in the tread forty kilometers from the pavement. Anyone carrying a traditional kit at that moment starts searching: the pliers in one pocket, the reamer in another, the insertion tool in a third, and the blade God knows where.

The T10 puts everything into a single 147 mm-long tool that opens into pliers, removes the nail, switches heads, and repairs the tire. It is a self-contained tool, not a motorcycle-specific accessory: it works on any tubeless tire.

Integrated pliers, interchangeable heads

The arms open and become real pliers for pulling a nail or screw out of the puncture. One arm has a hexagonal socket for mounting the reamer needle and the plug insertion needle: they can be swapped in seconds without tools.

When the tool is open, the body forms a T-handle. This is not just an aesthetic detail: it provides the leverage you actually need when pushing the reamer into the sidewall of a stiff tire while kneeling on gravel.

The compartment is inside the arm

The body is hollow and opens with a magnetic closure: inside, there is room for the cutting blade, the two needles, and your adhesive vulcanizing strips. Everything in one piece, with nothing to search for.

LOBOO specifies the available space: strips up to 110 × 7 × 3 mm and an adhesive tube up to 80 × 20 × 14 mm.

Strips and glue are not included

They are not included in the package, and that is the manufacturer's choice: prepackaged strips dry out in storage, and the type of strip is a matter of personal preference. Buy them fresh before your trip and load them into the compartment. It is worth knowing this before ordering, not afterward.

Hard case included

The kit comes in a waterproof, impact-resistant case measuring 174 × 71 × 34 mm, with a molded foam insert, open compartments for adhesive and strips, and illustrated instructions printed inside the lid. It fits in a pannier, a crash-bar bag, or under the seat.

Steel, not plastic

The body and needles are made of martensitic steel. No plastic handles that give way precisely when needed, and no joints that bend under the force required to ream a motorcycle tire.

Size

When closed, it measures 147 × 32 mm: shorter than a phone. The complete kit, including the case, weighs approximately 312 g.

Why choose it
Who is it recommended for

Documents and manufacturer

How does it work, in detail?

One tool instead of three

One tool instead of three

Pliers, reamer needle, and plug needle in one 147 mm-long body. Not a pouch kit with loose parts, but a tool that opens, changes heads, and repairs.

It is designed for the moment when a puncture really happens: far away, in low light, and without a workbench to set things on.

Even the best tire gets punctured

Even the best tire gets punctured

A nail picked up at a construction site, a screw on a gravel pull-off: the pressure drops and the journey comes to a halt. Without a tool, all that remains is a tow truck and waiting, which on a secondary road means hours.

With an emergency repair, you can get moving again in fifteen minutes, at moderate speed, until you reach the first tire shop.

The pliers remove the nail, and it is not an accessory

The pliers remove the nail, and it is not an accessory

The first step in dealing with any puncture is removing what caused it. Traditional kits assume you have pliers in your pocket: here, they’re built into the tool’s arms, with steel jaws that grip a worn screw head.

Once the job is done, the arms fold back into the body: no loose parts and no bulk.

A hexagonal insert and a T-handle

A hexagonal insert and a T-handle

On the clamp arm, there is a locking hexagonal socket for mounting the reaming needle and the insertion needle, allowing you to switch between them in seconds without tools.

When the tool is open, its body forms a T-handle. It may seem like a minor detail until you have to push the reamer into cold rubber: that leverage makes all the difference, and a straight handle is not enough.

Everything inside the arm, with a magnetic closure

Everything inside the arm, with a magnetic closure

The body is hollow and snaps open magnetically at the tips of the arms. Inside, there is room for the cutting blade, the two needles, and your strips with the tube of adhesive.

LOBOO specifies the available space: strips up to 110 × 7 × 3 mm, adhesive up to 80 × 20 × 14 mm. The strips and glue shown in the photos are for demonstration purposes and are not included.

Strips and mastic are bought here

The T10 is the tool: the vulcanizing strips and cement are consumables and are not included. LOBOO supplies them in two refill packs, each with one tube of fluid and six strips.

The TECH refill contains 10 ml of vulcanizing fluid and blue strips; the MARUNI refill contains 8 ml of Japanese Super Valkarn G Plus, equivalent to 11 grams, with gray strips. They are equivalent in use: the cement brand differs, not the repair method.

Both fit in the tool’s internal compartment and cost €9.00. Get one together with the T10: without strips, the kit cannot repair anything.

Is the hard case included?

Is the hard case included?

Shock-resistant and waterproof, with a foam insert molded to fit the tool. It keeps the steel dry even when left in a pannier for months.

Inside, there are free compartments for carrying adhesive and spare strips, and illustrated instructions are printed on the lid—right in front of you when you need them.

Shorter than a phone

Shorter than a phone

147 × 32 mm when closed, compared with the 149.6 × 71.5 mm of a recent smartphone. That’s the size that determines whether the tool travels with you or stays in the garage.

With the case, the complete kit weighs approximately 312 grams.

The measurements, in full

The measurements, in full

Tool 147 × 32 mm and case 174 × 71 × 34 mm. Insertion needle 98 mm long with a diameter of 6.5 mm, reamer needle 91 mm long with a diameter of 5.6 mm.

Stated weights: pliers 166 g, reamer 15 g, insertion needle 12 g, case 119 g. Material: martensitic steel.

What’s in the box?

What’s in the box?

Five pieces: the T10 multifunction pliers, the waterproof case, the insertion needle, the reamer needle, and the cutting blade.

The vulcanizing strips and adhesive are purchased separately: they are consumable materials that dry out over time and should be kept cool.

FAQs

For more information, please see our FAQ.

Is anything else needed for the repair besides this kit?

Yes, two things: vulcanizing strips and adhesive. They are not included, and this is a deliberate choice by the manufacturer: pre-packaged strips dry out while sitting in storage, and the type of string is a matter of personal preference.

You buy them from an auto parts store, load them into the tool compartment before setting off, and replace them occasionally. You also need something to reinflate the tire: a small compressor or a cartridge.

Which strips should I buy?

The standard tubeless repair strips you can find at any auto parts store. The only limitation is the compartment size: LOBOO specifies strips up to 110 × 7 × 3 mm and an adhesive tube up to 80 × 20 × 14 mm.

If the strips you have are larger, you can still use them; they simply won’t fit inside the tool. The case still has empty compartments for carrying them separately.

Is glue also needed, or is the strip enough?

Many modern plugs also work dry, but vulcanizing adhesive does two things the plug alone cannot: it lubricates insertion, which is the most tiring part with cold rubber, and seals the edges of the hole more effectively.

LOBOO recommends using them together, and the tool compartment has room for a tube up to 80 × 20 × 14 mm. Check the expiration date: dried-out glue is the classic surprise when you open the kit after two years.

How is it repaired in practice?

Six steps, also illustrated inside the case lid. Open the pliers tool and remove the nail or screw. Fit the reaming needle and prepare the hole by pushing it in and out a few times to clean the edges.

Then fit the insertion needle with the strip threaded through the fork, push it in to a depth of about 20 mm, withdraw the needle, leaving the strip in the hole, and pull it out, leaving 1–2 mm protruding. Cut off the excess with the blade and reinflate.

Will it fit my motorcycle?

It is not a model-specific accessory: it is a universal tool that works on any tubeless tire, whether adventure, sport touring, custom, or naked. It can also be used for cars, ATVs, and trailers when needed.

The only limitation is the type of tire: if you have spoked wheels with inner tubes, this system is not suitable. In that case, a puncture must be repaired by removing the wheel and repairing or replacing the inner tube.

Is the repair permanent?

No, and it’s important to know this. A plug repair is an emergency repair: it’s meant to get you home or to a tire shop, at moderate speed and while monitoring the pressure.

Once you reach your destination, have the tire assessed by a professional. Punctures on the sidewall or near the shoulder must never be repaired: that tire must be replaced.

How many repairs can I make with a single tool?

The tool does not wear out: the steel needles are durable and reusable. What runs out are the strips and adhesive, which are consumable materials.

The inner compartment typically holds several strips, enough for more than one repair; for a large puncture, sometimes two are inserted together. After using the kit, reload it before your next trip.

How much space does it take, and where do I put it?

The closed tool measures 147 × 32 mm, smaller than a smartphone. With the hard case, it measures 174 × 71 × 34 mm and weighs approximately 312 grams in total.

It fits in a pannier, a crash-bar bag, the under-seat compartment of an adventure bike, or a jacket pocket if you carry it without the case.

Is the case truly waterproof?

LOBOO describes it as waterproof and impact-resistant, with a shaped foam insert, but it does not publish a measured IP rating. In real-world use, it keeps the tool dry in a side bag in the rain, which is precisely what it is there for.

The biggest practical advantage is something else: the steel stays dry, and the illustrated instructions are printed inside the lid, so they are right in front of you exactly when you need them.

Does steel rust if it stays in motion all year?

It is martensitic steel, from the same family as knife steels: it holds up well, but it is not as corrosion-resistant as AISI 316 and should be kept dry. That is why the case is not a luxury accessory.

After using it in the rain, dry the needles before closing it. Applying a thin film of oil to the joint from time to time is time well spent.

What’s the difference compared with the inexpensive kits in a pouch?

Three. The first is the pliers: traditional kits don’t include them, and to remove the nail you need another tool. The second is the material: this one is made of steel, not plastic handles that break when you push hard.

The third is the size: a kit in a pouch takes up about as much space as a sandwich, and the pieces rattle around inside; the T10 measures 147 × 32 mm, with everything stored in the body. In exchange, the inexpensive kit usually already includes strips and glue, which you have to buy separately here.

Can I take it on a plane?

Not in carry-on luggage: it contains a blade and two steel needles, so it will be confiscated in the cabin. There are no problems in checked luggage.
