LOBOO motorcycle smartphone mount

Two LOBOO models are available on Endurrad: the PH02S and the PH06. The PH02S comes in three mounting versions, while the PH06 comes in four. The versions differ only in the mounting type: the mount body is identical within each model.

Both offer wireless charging up to 15 W and DC 12–16 V power input. There are four differences: the anti-vibration system (a multistage structure with three silicone pads on the PH02S, and a magnetic damping structure on the PH06), the body material (technical plastic versus aluminum alloy), the maximum wired charging power (24 W versus 36 W), and the number of available mounts (three versus four). The PH02S accepts wider and longer phones, while the PH06 accepts slightly thicker phones.

It is the same reference. PH02 is the designation shown in the manufacturer’s specifications, while PH02S is the code LOBOO uses in product references and SKUs. There are not two separate products in the catalog.

Measure the phone’s width, length, and thickness with the case already installed, because that is the actual configuration in which it will be used. The PH02S accepts phones from 65 to 98 mm wide, 125 to 170 mm long, and up to 13 mm thick. The PH06 accepts phones from 65 to 92 mm wide, 125 to 169 mm long, and up to 12.5 mm thick. Thickness is the measurement that most often rules out a combination: a reinforced case alone can add 2–3 mm.

Compatibility does not depend on the motorcycle model but on the mounting point. The available versions cover 22, 25.4, 28, and 32 mm tubular bars, 12–13 mm tubes, and stems up to 10.2 mm; only the PH06 also adds a steering-head mount with holes from 12 to 25.4 mm. LOBOO documentation does not provide a detailed model-by-model list: tell us the make, model, year, and accessories already installed, and we will check compatibility before you order.

Yes, both models support wireless charging up to 15 W, as well as fast wired charging: up to 24 W on the PH02S and up to 36 W on the PH06. The actual power reached depends on the protocol supported by the phone: many devices stop below the maximum value and, at high temperatures, reduce or stop charging to protect the battery.

Inductive charging works through non-metallic cases within the maximum thickness permitted by the mount. Metal cases, magnetic rings, plates for magnetic mounts, and Popsockets can shield the field or trigger the foreign-object protection. In that case, wired charging remains available.

Both models incorporate a structure designed to dampen vibrations, using different technologies: three silicone cushions on successive stages in the PH02S, and a magnetic structure in the PH06. The manufacturer specifies that the system can reduce high-intensity, high-frequency vibrations, but cannot eliminate them completely. The actual attenuation depends on the motorcycle, the mounting point, and the conditions of use.

The optical stabilization system found in many smartphones is designed for slow, small-amplitude oscillations, whereas a handlebar transmits high-frequency vibrations generated by the engine, combined with shocks from the road surface. This is the technical reason why this product category incorporates damping systems. No mount can be presented as a guarantee of protection: the severity of the stress depends on the motorcycle, the phone, the mounting point, and the hours of use.

LOBOO does not declare a certified IP rating for either the PH02S or the PH06. Both are designed to withstand exposure while riding, but they are not intended for immersion or pressure-washer cleaning. After heavy rain, it is advisable to dry the connectors. In any case, the resistance applies to the mount, not the smartphone.

Yes, for using the charging function. Neither model has an internal battery: they must be powered at 12–16 V DC, preferably from a switched positive connection. Route the cable away from hot or moving parts. Both models integrate eight electronic protections, from reverse-polarity protection to foreign-object detection.

Yes. Both models use a snap-lock mechanism: push the phone in to secure it and press the release control to remove it, with no knobs to tighten. Rotation from portrait to landscape is carried out through a mechanical gear with a tactile click, recognizable even when wearing winter gloves.

Yes, provided the bar diameter falls within one of the available size ranges. Many accessory bars and crossbars have a diameter between 12 and 13 mm, which is covered by the fixed-position 13 mm version. If the bar is larger, up to 32 mm, the standard clamp version is the correct choice.

The two most commonly used alternatives are the dedicated navigation bracket, which frees up a tube in front of the instrument cluster, and the mirror-mount adapter. If your use regularly includes unpaved roads and rough surfaces, the PH06 is the model with the vibration-damping system claimed by the manufacturer to be the most effective and with a body made entirely of aluminum alloy. If the phone is more than 92 mm wide or 169 mm long, the PH02S is the only compatible option of the two. On motorcycles with a crowded handlebar, it is also worth considering a dedicated navigation bracket, which frees up the correct viewing position.
