In brief. The production-ready Benelli TRK 602 X was unveiled on November 3, 2026, at EICMA, in Hall 6 at Fiera Milano Rho. It is the mid-size crossover replacing the TRK 502 X, the model Benelli says has surpassed 30,000 registrations in Italy. It has a 554 cm³ parallel twin with a 270° crank, derived from the Tornado 550: 56 hp at 8,250 rpm in the full-power version and 35 kW in the A2 license version. It features 19- and 17-inch spoked wheels, a 43 mm inverted fork, dual 320 mm discs with radial calipers, a 5-inch TFT with navigation and, as standard, handguards with integrated turn signals, a center stand, a skid plate and crash bars.
It will reach dealerships by spring 2027 in four colors. Price and weight have not yet been announced: here, we separate confirmed information from details reported by just one source, compare it with its true rivals, and tell you what makes sense to prepare for your first trip.
The TRK 602 X gets a new engine, frame and suspension: the 502’s formula remains
This is not a restyling. Benelli has taken the formula that made the TRK 502 Italy’s most popular crossover and rebuilt almost the entire bike.

For years, the TRK 502 X has been the gateway to adventure motorcycling for thousands of Italian riders: affordable price, big adventure bike looks, and A2 license compatibility. Its limitation was clear to anyone who had ridden it loaded: an engine producing 47.6 hp and around 46 Nm, heavy running gear, and electronics limited to ABS. The 602 X addresses exactly those shortcomings.

The 602 X comes in two power versions: 35 kW for an A2 license, 41.2 kW for an A license
This is what matters most to riders coming from the 502: the new bike can still be ridden with an A2 license, but the full-power version cannot.
What changes between the two versions
The 35 kW version produces around 47.6-47.8 hp at 6,500 rpm and 53 Nm at 5,500 rpm. It is designed for A2 license holders, which in Italy allows bikes up to 35 kW. The full-power version reaches 56 hp at 8,250 rpm: at 41.2 kW, it exceeds the limit, so it requires an A license.
In practice, the restricted version mainly loses out on top-end power: the stated maximum torque is reached at the same engine speed. For riders carrying a load, this is the more important figure, and in this respect the 602 X is a clear step up from the 502 X's approximately 46 Nm.
If you're considering the quickest route to a license, we've explained how the upgrade from an A2 to an A license without a practical test works.
Hand guards, skid plate and crash bars come pre-installed
The standard equipment covers the accessories that almost everyone bought for the 502 soon after taking delivery.

- hand guards with integrated turn signals;
- USB port;
- center stand;
- aluminum skid plate and lower protection;
- crash bars;
- 5″ TFT with navigation and connectivity.
- aluminum side cases and top case;
- heated seat;
- heated grips with three settings.
Official photos also show a rear rack, a tall windshield and knobby Dunlop tires: these are images of the bike presented at EICMA; the final equipment for Italy will need to be checked against the price list. Equipment and optional extras are as listed by MotorBox; prices for the optional extras have not been announced.
Four colors have been announced: Heron White, Jungle Fog Green, Storm Grey and Dune Sea.

Compared with the NX500 and F 450 GS, the Benelli has more power, but its price is still to be announced
Its direct rivals are mid-size crossovers with 19/17-inch wheels and lightweight adventure bikes for A2 license holders. The table includes only published data, with sources.
| Model | Engine | Power / torque | Weight | Fuel tank | Wheels | Price |

It's a touring bike for asphalt and easy gravel, not an enduro
The 19-inch front wheel, 140 and 173 mm of suspension travel, and 825 mm seat height make it clear who it's aimed at.

- have an A2 license and want a crossover with more torque than the category average;
- travel two-up and with luggage, especially on main roads and mountain passes;
- ride a TRK 502 and want more engine and electronics without changing the formula;
- want protection already fitted and a center stand for chain and tire maintenance.
- demanding off-road riding: no 21-inch front wheel and shorter suspension travel than enduro bikes with 21/18-inch wheels;
- lightness: the weight has not been declared, and the prototype was no featherweight;
- price comparisons, at least until the official price list.
Price, weight and fuel tank are the three missing answers
To complete the picture, we need the figures Benelli will announce with the price list.
- Italian price. The 502 X cost €5,990, ex-dealer. With more engine capacity and more equipment, an increase is reasonable to expect, but Benelli has given no indication: any figure circulating today is an estimate.
- Kerb weight. This is the figure that determines the comparison with the NX500, F 450 GS, and 450MT.
- Tank and fuel consumption. The 20-liter capacity and 3.9 l/100 km reported by inSella need confirmation.
- A2 version. Price, possible derestriction to 41.2 kW, and final homologation.
- Genuine accessories. Prices for aluminum panniers, heated seat, and heated grips.
We'll update this article at the same address as soon as Benelli publishes the official spec sheet. In the meantime, find the rest of the show news in our day-by-day EICMA 2026 diary.
