Three concrete reasons, and one why you might want to give up on it.

It folds and you load it into the car.It weighs 39 kg and the frame is foldable: it fits into the trunk of a normal car. It's the only approved moped you can take with you. You arrive by car, do the last urban stretch on two wheels, then load it back up and set off again.

The battery weighs 7 kg.The lightest pack in the range. You detach it and recharge it at home effortlessly, which is far from guaranteed with the 13-14 kg packs of large scooters.

Dual disc brakes.It's the only Rolektro with a disc brake at the rear as well. On a light vehicle with small wheels, where braking matters more, it's the right choice.

And the reason why you might want to give up on it:The 6.5-inch wheels and the absence of a shield and windscreen make it an essential vehicle, for good weather and smooth asphalt. It's the right vehicle if

• You travel alone on short urban routes, on well-maintained asphalt.
• You want to load it into a car or keep it indoors: 39 kg and a folding structure make it possible.
• You don't have an outlet in the garage: the 7 kg battery can be conveniently charged in your apartment.
• You are looking for the cheapest and lightest approved electric moped for the last mile.
• You are at least 14 years old and have an AM license.

It's not the right vehicle if

• You need to carry a passenger: it's a single-seater, without an approved second seat.
• You travel on uneven roads, cobblestones, or dirt roads: the 6.5-inch wheels are small.
• You are looking for protection from wind and rain: it has no fairing or windshield.
• Your route includes motorways, expressways, or ring roads: mopeds are prohibited.
• You don't have covered parking and the vehicle would be exposed all year round: the IP protection rating is not declared by the manufacturer.

In Italy, the Rolektro E-Joy 45 is a two-wheeled moped.Despite its scooter-like appearance, it is not an electric scooter and does not fall under the rules introduced for scooters: it has a license plate and a registration certificate, like any 50cc moped.

Driving License.An AM license is required, which can be obtained from the age of 14. A1, A2, A, and B licenses are also valid.

Documents and Insurance.License plate, registration certificate, and third-party liability insurance are mandatory. Registration is initiated at the Department of Motor Vehicles (Motorizzazione Civile) or through a vehicle registration agency, using the European Certificate of Conformity (CoC) provided with the vehicle.

Helmet.Mandatory.

Passenger.Not permitted: the vehicle is approved for one person only.

Where it can be driven.Ordinary urban and extra-urban roads. Access to motorways and main extra-urban roads is prohibited.

ZTL (Limited Traffic Zones).Electric vehicles generally enjoy more favorable access conditions to limited traffic zones, but the rule is established by the individual Municipality and varies from city to city. Check your Municipality's website before assuming access: no seller can guarantee it.

Warranty.24-month legal conformity warranty in accordance with the Consumer Code.

What we do before leaving

1. Confirmation.Within one business day, we confirm availability and delivery date.
2. Preparation.Complete assembly, battery charging, check of brakes, lights, tires, fastenings, and electronics.
3. Delivery.We arrive with the vehicle ready for use and show you how to remove and recharge the battery and how to fold it.
4. Documents.In the supply, you will find the EU Certificate of Conformity (COC), necessary for registration.

What's left for you

1. Registration.With the COC, you obtain the license plate and registration certificate from the Motorizzazione Civile (Italian Department of Motor Vehicles) or through a car registration agency. If you prefer, we can handle it for you: ask us about the option with included registration.
2. Third-party liability insurance (RCA).You arrange this with the company of your choice, and it is mandatory before driving. Endurrad does not provide insurance advice.
3. First charge.Fully charge the battery before first use and check tire pressure according to the value indicated by the manufacturer in the manual.

Legal warranty of conformity: 24 months.All Rolektro models come with a 24-month warranty. Batteries and wear parts are covered by a 6-month warranty.

On-site assistance.We intervene wherever the vehicle is located, throughout Italy: you do not have to ship or transport anything.

Defects or damages caused by the following are excluded from the warranty:

• operational wear;
• improper use;
• independent interventions without consultation;
• operating errors and negligent behavior.

In case of a warranty claim:always contact Endurrad customer service directly. An Endurrad technician will discuss the next steps to resolve the problem with you. Repairs carried out under warranty by independent workshops or service partners without prior consultation with Endurrad customer service will invalidate any claim for cost reimbursement.

Outside the warranty period:for out-of-warranty repairs, you can directly contact our service partners; invoicing will be handled directly by the respective partner.
