A type-approved electric scooter is not an accessory: it is a motor vehicle that needs to be registered, insured, and maintained over time. This page explains exactly what happens from the moment you complete your order to when you leave home with the keys in hand.

We don't ship you a box
Almost all electric vehicles sold online in Italy arrive on a pallet, via courier, partially disassembled. The recipient has to unload it, unpack it, assemble mirrors, windshield, and the front wheel, and then deal with the Motor Vehicle Registration Office themselves.
We operate differently. Your scooter is delivered by our own means, throughout Italy, fully assembled and inspected. No courier, no pallet, no assembly required from you. And if you choose the Turnkey option, it arrives already registered and plated: you sign, put on your helmet, and go.
Delivery is free nationwide, with no minimum order threshold.

We handle everything. We collect your data, initiate the registration process through an affiliated automotive consulting agency, and deliver the vehicle to you already plated and ready for use.
This option is designed for those who don't want to figure out how the Motor Vehicle Registration Office works. You only need an ID, your tax code, and a valid driver's license. The process is handled in parallel with the vehicle's preparation: it does not extend delivery times.

How it works, step by step
Step 1
Choose your model
If you are undecided between two vehicles, write to us indicating the kilometers you travel daily, the elevation change of your route, and where you can recharge. We will suggest the suitable model, or tell you if none of ours are.
Step 2
Order and choose the option
Complete your order online by selecting Turnkey, Delivery Only, or Assistance with paperwork. Payment can be immediate or in installments.
Step 3
We contact you within one business day
We confirm the order, agree on the delivery window, and verify that the vehicle is suitable for your use.
If you chose Turnkey, we will send you a secure form to collect the necessary data for registration: ID document, tax code, residence, and driver's license. We never ask for documents via email or messaging.
Step 4
We prepare the vehicle
Full assembly, battery charge, inspection of brakes, tire pressure, lights, fastenings, and electronics. In parallel, if requested, the registration process proceeds.
Step 5
Home delivery
We arrive with our own vehicles within the agreed window, within 7–10 business days from the order. The vehicle is delivered assembled, charged, and functional, along with the manual, charger, keys, and documentation.
Before leaving, we show you how to remove and recharge the battery, how to use the display, and what checks to perform periodically. It's not just a sign-and-go delivery.

After purchase
You remain in contact with us, not with a foreign customer service. For warranty, spare parts, or assistance, there is a single point of contact.
How long it takes
Delivery is made with our own vehicles, throughout Italy, within 7–10 business days from the order. The difference between the three options is not the waiting time, but what you find upon delivery: choosing Turnkey does not extend the delivery time, it just saves you a trip to the Motor Vehicle Registration Office.

The indicated times refer to vehicles available in stock and represent the maximum expected period: in many areas, we deliver sooner, depending on the delivery route schedule. The registration process timelines also depend on the competent offices and may vary: in such cases, we will notify you beforehand, not afterwards.
How you can pay
We accept credit and debit cards, PayPal, Shop Pay, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. With Klarna, you can spread the amount over several installments without the formalities of traditional financing: the outcome is immediate at checkout.
All prices displayed are inclusive of VAT. The registration service, if chosen, appears as a separate item in the cart, with our fee distinct from taxes and fees due to public administration. For corporate purchases or those with a VAT number, we issue an invoice: please provide us with the details when ordering.
Warranty and assistance
All vehicles are covered by the 24-month legal conformity guarantee provided by the Consumer Code for purchases made by private individuals.
Furthermore, for the first 12 months, technical assistance is provided at your home throughout Italy. If the vehicle has a problem, you don't have to pack it, ship it, or take it to a workshop: our technician will intervene wherever the vehicle is located.
This is the most significant practical difference compared to purchasing from a marketplace or a foreign retailer. A vehicle weighing over 100 kg cannot be easily shipped, and being without a vehicle you use for commuting for weeks is a real problem.
For spare parts—battery packs, chargers, electronic components, and chassis parts—the supply chain goes through the German manufacturer and is verifiable. Indicate the model and frame number, and we will confirm availability and lead times.
Rolektro manufacturer's warranty
In addition to the legal warranty, all Rolektro models are covered by a 24-month conventional manufacturer's warranty. For batteries and wear-and-tear parts, the conventional coverage is 6 months.
Defects or damages caused by the following are excluded:
- wear and tear from normal use
- improper use of the vehicle
- interventions performed independently without prior agreement with us
- usage errors and negligent behavior
The conventional manufacturer's warranty is additional and does not limit or replace the 24-month legal conformity guarantee provided by the Consumer Code for purchases made by consumers, which remains fully valid with us.
What you need to hit the road
The models in our catalog fall into category L1e-B: electric mopeds limited to 45 km/h. To circulate, you need:
- AM driving license, obtainable from 14 years of age, or any higher license (A1, A2, A, B)
- License plate and registration document, obtained with registration
- Third-party liability insurance, mandatory like for any moped
- Approved helmet for the rider and any passenger
We also recommend gloves and a jacket with certified protection, even for short urban trips. Regulations on driving licenses, registration, and taxes are subject to updates: please verify the current regulations at the time of purchase.
If you change your mind
As this is a distance purchase, you have the right to withdraw within 14 days from delivery, as stated in our refund policy and in the withdrawal form.
Two useful clarifications, to avoid misunderstandings:
- The vehicle must be returned in a condition that allows it to be resold. Use that diminishes its value may result in a proportional reduction of the refund.
- If the vehicle has already been registered in your name, it effectively becomes a used and registered vehicle: please contact us before proceeding, as managing this requires specific steps.
The best way to avoid this is to discuss it beforehand. We prefer to tell you that a model is not suitable for your route rather than dealing with an avoidable return.

How does the scooter arrive at my home?

Do I need to assemble anything myself?

Can I pay in installments?

How long is the warranty?
The legal conformity warranty is 24 months for purchases made by private individuals, as stipulated by the Consumer Code, and remains valid for batteries and components. The manufacturer, Rolektro, adds its own conventional warranty of 24 months on the vehicle and 6 months on batteries and wear parts, excluding damage from improper use, unauthorized interventions, or negligence. For the first 12 months, home technical assistance throughout Italy is also included.
If it breaks down, do I have to take it to a workshop?
No. Within the first 12 months, our technician will intervene directly where the vehicle is located, anywhere in Italy. You don't have to pack it, ship it, or transport it.
Are spare parts available?
Yes. The supply chain goes through the German manufacturer Soletek GmbH and is verifiable: battery packs, chargers, electronic components, and chassis parts remain orderable. Indicate the model and frame number to find out availability and lead times.
Can I return it if I change my mind?
Yes, within 14 days of delivery, according to the conditions indicated in our refund policy. The vehicle must be returned in a condition that allows for resale. If it has already been registered in your name, please contact us before proceeding: handling requires specific steps.
Do you also deliver to islands?
Yes, we deliver with our own vehicles throughout the national territory, within the same 7–10 business days. For some destinations, slightly longer times may be necessary: we will inform you during order confirmation.
