Rolektro
Rolektro Italy: approved electric mopeds, delivered assembled to your home
Rolektro is the brand of light electric vehicles from Soletek GmbH, a German company based in Erkrath. Endurrad distributes the range of two-wheeled electric mopeds in Italy: vehicles approved for road circulation, registrable and insurable, designed for those who travel urban routes every day.
They are not scooters, nor pedal-assisted bicycles, nor parallel import vehicles. They are motor vehicles with a European Certificate of Conformity (COC), delivered with documentation, already assembled and ready for registration.

Who is behind the Rolektro brand
Rolektro is a brand of Soletek GmbH, Feldheider Straße 62, 40699 Erkrath (Germany). It is the identifiable manufacturer according to EU Regulation 2023/988 on general product safety (GPSR): this means that there is a responsible, traceable, and reachable entity for conformity, safety, and technical documentation.
This is not a bureaucratic detail. The light electric vehicle market includes vehicles without an identifiable manufacturer, making it impossible to obtain spare parts, updates, or assistance after purchase. This is the primary criterion we use to select a supplier.
What it means for a Rolektro to be approved
Each vehicle is delivered with the COC (Certificate of Conformity), the European document that certifies the vehicle's conformity to the approved type. This allows for registration and titling with the Motorizzazione (Department of Motor Vehicles).
The models currently in the catalog fall into category L1e-B, two-wheeled mopeds limited to 45 km/h. This implies:
- AM driving license from 14 years of age, or any higher license (A1, A2, A, B)
- Mandatory license plate and third-party liability insurance
- Mandatory helmet for driver and any passenger
- Exemption from road tax for the period specified by regulations, with regimes varying by Region
Regulations on licenses, registration, and taxes are subject to updates: always verify the current regulations at the time of purchase.
Spare parts and long-term availability
For an electric vehicle, the real question is not how much it costs today, but whether in three years it will still be possible to replace a battery, a charger, or a control unit. For the Rolektro range, the spare parts supply chain goes through the German manufacturer and is verifiable: battery packs, chargers, electronic components, and chassis parts remain orderable.
Chassis components — tires, brake pads, bearings, levers, suspensions — are largely standard and available everywhere. If you need a specific spare part for a Rolektro model, please write to us, indicating the model and frame number.
Why buy from an official Italian dealer
Buying the same vehicle from a foreign marketplace or a generalist retailer seems equivalent as long as everything works. The differences emerge later:
- Documentation in order for Italy: correct and complete COC, with no surprises at the Department of Motor Vehicles counter
- Single point of contact: for warranty, spare parts, and assistance, you speak with us, not with a foreign customer service
- Assistance in Italian before and after purchase, with a technician who provides on-site service anywhere in Italy
- Delivery and assembly included: the vehicle does not arrive packed on a pallet for you to unload and assemble
- Right of withdrawal according to European regulations, exercisable without cross-border disputes
An electric moped is still a two-wheeled vehicle
Endurrad originates from the motorcycle world and applies the same method it has used for years for adventure and touring equipment to electric mobility. Battery capacity matters, but so do the chassis, braking system, wet weather performance, and rider protection. These are the parameters we use to evaluate any vehicle before adding it to our catalog — and they are also why many of our customers, who already own a motorcycle, choose their second vehicle for the city here.
Not sure which model is right for you?
Real-world range, power, removable battery, required license: the technical criteria for comparing models are explained in our guide to approved electric scooters, with comparison tables, a glossary, and over twenty answers to frequently asked questions.
If you have doubts about the model suitable for your daily commute, the elevation gain, or where you can recharge, write to us before ordering. We prefer to point you to the right vehicle — or tell you that none of ours is — rather than handle an avoidable return.
