Installation

  1. Clear the handlebar ends by removing the stock bar-end weights.
  2. Position the frame without tightening it and check that the levers and cables remain clear with the handlebars turned.
  3. Secure the inner mounting point, then the bar-end mounting point.
  4. Finish tightening to the manufacturer's torque specifications and repeat the check after 100 km.

The tightening torques and complete installation sequence are provided in the official Barkbusters instructions supplied with the kit.

Is it suitable only for Royal Enfield?
Yes. Barkbusters states a single application for this reference, listed in the table along with the relevant years.

Are the protective plastics included?
No. Barkbusters sells the frame and plastics separately: this kit includes only the aluminum frame and hardware. The JET, VPS, STORM, and CARBON plastics are ordered separately and are interchangeable.

Do I need to reuse the original bar-end weights?
No, the kit includes its own handlebar weights and replaces the stock ones.
