Barkbusters VPS, JET, STORM, and EGO protective plastics
Barkbusters plastic guards are a product category of their own: they mount onto the aluminum backbone you already have and remain interchangeable, even later and in a different color. This is the right section if the backbone is already installed on your motorcycle and you want to change the guard, color, or type of cover.
Available product lines
- VPS-203 — with an adjustable wind deflector with two positions, for adventure and touring. VPS-003 is the previous generation and is being phased out.
- JET-003 — compact profile without a deflector, for dual-sport, enduro, and trail riding.
- STM-003 — extended cover from the STORM series.
- EGO-203 — designed for the EGO backbone.
Before ordering
Plastic guard compatibility depends on the backbone series they are mounted on, not on the motorcycle model. Each product page lists the compatible backbones: EGO plastic guards are not interchangeable with those from the other series.
Be careful not to confuse plastic guards with complete handguards: the VPS-207, for example, despite having a code similar to VPS-203, is not a plastic guard set but a complete single-point motocross handguard, with clamps and brackets included. You can find it among the complete handguards.
If the backbone has not yet been installed, first choose the mounting kit for your motorcycle or a universal kit.
