In brief. Five days before EICMA 2026 opens (Fiera Milano Rho, November 3-8), several new models announced for the show are already official, with specs and prices. The 2027 Triumph Tiger 1200 is up to 158 hp, gets two Bosch radars, and drops the 21-inch front wheel even on the Rally models; in Italy, it starts at €22,795. The Kawasaki KLE650, which in mid-October was just a name in an Australian register, has 70 hp, a 21-inch front wheel, and a starting price of €8,290. KTM has unveiled its 2027 lineup, and Moto Guzzi has introduced the The Trip 500 for A2 license holders. The rest arrives between Sunday, November 2 and Wednesday, November 4: Honda and Yamaha on the evening of the 2nd, KTM, Benelli and CFMOTO on the 3rd.
Here you'll find only what's changed since our October 20 update: the bikes unveiled with official figures, the schedule of previews yet to be revealed, the accessories announced for the show, and practical information for visitors to Milan.
How we worked: For each bike, we start with manufacturer data, as reported by Dueruote, inSella, Moto.it and Visordown between October 26 and 28, 2026. We always indicate whether a detail is official, reported by a publication, or a rumor, and what is still unknown.
The biggest new releases have come out before Milan
Manufacturers are increasingly unveiling new models online before the show, using EICMA for their first contact with the public. This week is proof.

The 2027 Triumph Tiger 1200 drops the 21-inch front wheel and looks to the road with two radars
This is the most important news for anyone touring on a maxi enduro: more power, more electronics, and a more road-focused chassis, even on the Rally versions.

Triumph unveiled the new Tiger 1200 on October 27. The 1,160 cm³ T-Plane triple produces 158 hp at 9,250 rpm and 130 Nm at 6,750 rpm: eight more horsepower, with peak torque arriving 250 rpm earlier. Triumph has also revised the ratios in first through third gear and claims a 6 km/h lower minimum riding speed: a useful change on slow gravel roads, hairpin bends, and when riding loaded.
The other change that will spark debate is this. Until 2026, the Rally Pro and Rally Explorer came with 21- and 18-inch spoked wheels and 220 mm of travel. From 2027, all four versions have 19- and 17-inch wheels and 200 mm of travel, with alloy wheels on the GT models and spoked wheels on the Rally models. The Rally loses something in serious off-road riding. On asphalt, it gains a wider choice of tires and, in all likelihood, more neutral handling on winding roads. The latter is our assessment, to be confirmed in the first road test.
| Version | Fuel tank | Wheels | Kerb weight | Price in Italy |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| GT Pro | 20 L | 19"/17" alloy wheels | 250 kg | 22.795 € |
| Rally Pro | 20 L | 19"/17" spoked wheels | n/a | 23.695 € |
| GT Explorer | 30 L | 19"/17" alloy wheels | n/a | 24.395 € |
| Rally Explorer | 30 L | 19"/17" spoked wheels | 268 kg | 25.395 € |
The electronic package is that of a touring flagship. The front and rear Bosch radars manage adaptive cruise control, collision warning with emergency braking assist, distance control, blind spot monitoring, rear vehicle approach warning, and a group riding assistant. The Showa semi-active suspension with HeightFlex function lowers the bike by 30 mm when stationary. The adjustable seat ranges from 840 to 860 mm, and when stopped it drops to around 790 mm with the optional low seat. The display is a 7-inch touchscreen TFT with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
For those who already own a Tiger 1200, the new generation lowers its resale value, but doesn't detract from a bike that remains one of the most complete in its class. The LOBOO kit below is listed for the GT Pro from 2023 and is one of the few in its class with panniers of equal capacity on both sides.

- Compatibility
- Triumph Tiger 1200 GT Pro from 2023 (2027 generation unverified)
- Capacity
- 37 + 37 L, 74 L total
- Maximum load
- 10 kg per pannier
- Included
- JP921B frames with hardware and two aluminum panniers; top case not included
Everything else, from tank protection to luggage, is in the accessories for the Triumph Tiger 1200 collection. We'll have to wait for the 2027 Tiger 900: Triumph has confirmed a more powerful engine, but will publish the full specifications on December 15. What we know so far is in our article on the new 2027 Tiger 1200 and Tiger 900.
In eleven days, the Kawasaki KLE650 went from a code in a registry to a bike with a price list
On October 16, it was just an approval filing in Australia. On October 27, Kawasaki unveiled it with full specifications and Italian prices.
The KLE650 2027 takes the Versys 650's 649 cm³ parallel twin and updates it with ride-by-wire throttle and intake and exhaust modifications: Kawasaki claims 70 hp. The trellis frame is derived from the KLE500. The wheels are spoked, 21 inches front and 17 inches rear, with 210 mm of front travel and 196 mm at the rear. The seat is 870 mm high. Standard equipment includes KTRC traction control, cruise control, and ABS that can be disabled on both wheels.

| Category | KLE650 | KLE650 SE |
|---|---|---|
| Price in Italy | 8.290 € | 9.790 € |
| Engine | 649 cm³ parallel twin, approximately 70 hp | |
| Wheels | 21"/17" spoked wheels | Tangential-spoke wheels, tubeless tires |
| Additional equipment | Cruise control, KTRC, switchable ABS | KQS bidirectional quickshifter, TFT, USB-C, hand guards, larger aluminum engine guard, taller windscreen |
| Fuel tank | 16 L (figure reported by Dueruote) | |
| Weight | Not announced | |
The price is the headline. According to Dueruote, the Yamaha Ténéré 700 and Aprilia Tuareg 660 start at no less than €10,999: the KLE650 joins them in the same displacement class at a difference of over €2,000. However, we'll need to wait for the weight, which Kawasaki hasn't yet announced, and a road test before calling it a true rival. Kawasaki has also prepared three original accessory packages: Top Case, Rally and Adventure Tourer.
There are no aftermarket accessories for the new KLE650 with verified compatibility yet. In the meantime, find everything we have for the brand's other motorcycles in the Kawasaki accessories collection, and read the story of its smaller sibling in the article on the 2027 Kawasaki KLE500 SE Smartride.
KTM has updated the 2027 Adventures and is saving the surprise for November 3
KTM returns to EICMA after a year away. The 2027 lineup is already known; the real news will come at the press conference.
There are few, targeted updates to the Adventure models. The 390 Adventure R has a new left-hand control that lets you activate the optional cruise control. The 390 Adventure X arrives around December with a TFT display and two new color schemes. The 790 Adventure is now entirely black. The most interesting touring model is the new 1390 Super Duke GT, expected in early 2027, with offline map navigation on the 8.8-inch TFT, an adjustable windscreen, a standard SP Connect mount and, on the EVO, the AMT automatic transmission without a clutch lever.
KTM's press conference is scheduled for Tuesday, November 3 at 10:45, Hall 22, stand E08, with a preview of a new off-road model that hasn't been named yet. The 990 Adventure, which KTM has never officially confirmed, remains a rumor: everything known so far is in the article KTM 990 Adventure: what we really know. The differences between the R and X are covered in our in-depth article on the 2027 KTM 390 Adventure.
With the Trip 500, Moto Guzzi enters the A2 license market
Unveiled on October 28 in Mandello del Lario, it’s the first modern Guzzi without a transverse V-twin.
The Moto Guzzi The Trip 500 is a naked bike, not an adventure bike, but it’s of interest to many readers of this blog because it opens the brand up to riders with an A2 license. The press release lists a parallel twin producing nearly 48 hp, which, according to inSella, is derived from the 457 cc engine already used by the Piaggio Group in the Aprilia RS 457 and Tuono 457. It weighs 180 kg in running order, has a seat height starting at 790 mm, and a 15-liter metal fuel tank. Features include ride-by-wire with three riding modes (Road, Sport, Rain), a 3.6-inch circular TFT display that can connect to a smartphone and offers pictogram navigation, and a quickshifter available as an accessory.
There are three color options: Black Metropolis, Green Grove, and Red Beat. A launch edition called The Opening is planned. The price hasn’t been announced, deliveries to dealerships are expected in early 2027, and the bike is on display at EICMA in Hall 9. The name “The Trip” leaves the door open to touring versions: for now, it’s just the name, and no such version has been announced.
The final reveals are coming between November 2 and 4: here’s the schedule
Some previews come before the show opens. Here are the confirmed dates and the status of each piece of information.
| When | Who | What | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sunday, November 2 | Honda | A new adventure bike: the teaser only says “A new adventure is coming” | Date official, model unconfirmed |
| Sunday, November 2, evening | Yamaha | An unnamed model, with a teaser suggesting a three-cylinder engine | Date official; the Ténéré 900 is speculation |
| Tuesday, November 3, 10:45 a.m. | KTM | Press conference at Hall 22, stand E08, with an off-road new model | Official |
| Tuesday, November 3 | Benelli | Two world premieres and a concept; the final TRK 602 X, successor to the TRK 502, will also be at the show | Date official, models unconfirmed |
| Tuesday, November 3 | CFMOTO | A sportbike and a maxi-scooter announced with a teaser | Teaser |
| During the show | Royal Enfield | Production Himalayan 750: teaser shows the coordinates of central Milan | Expected, date and time not announced |
| Thursday, November 5 – Sunday, November 8 | EICMA | Open to the public, 9:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. | Official |
| December 15, 2026 | Triumph | Full details of the new Tiger 900 | Announced by Triumph |

For the two November 2 previews, we’ve written two separate articles covering everything that’s confirmed and everything that’s speculation: the new Honda adventure and the possible Yamaha Ténéré 900. For the Royal Enfield, see the Himalayan 750: what’s official article. We’ll update them with the final details at the same URLs.
The show will also feature rackless bags and protective gear
The accessory updates announced so far focus on two things: carrying luggage on the motorcycle without installing fixed racks and improving protection in the event of a fall.
The most interesting one was announced by SHAD. The Rackless system is a universal kit that attaches to the motorcycle with straps, without side racks: two expandable 16-liter bags (13+3) and an optional 9-liter rear bag, for up to 41 liters in total, with a waterproof inner lining and a reinforced strap with three steel cables to secure under the seat. Launch is expected in March 2027. SHAD is also bringing new protection for the BMW F 900 GS and Honda Africa Twin, revised SR38 side bags, and the revised SR05 tank bag.
This is nothing new for those who travel light. Soft bags without a frame weigh little and can be moved from one motorcycle to another. In return, they carry less cargo and require the straps to be checked at every stop. Those who already have 25 mm crash bars can also make use of a space almost no one uses: bags attached directly to the crash bars.

- Mount
- Crash bar with 25 mm tube
- Compatibility
- Depends on the bar diameter, not the motorcycle model
- Package
- Pair, right and left
We'll be at the show too. Endurrad will be at the SEFO Group stand, Hall 7, stand C04, alongside the group's brands and Unit Garage, acquired by SEFO Group in October. At the stand, you'll find the full LOBOO range and someone who can explain how it's installed, what fits in a 37-liter case, and which ring you need for your tank bag. Details of the deal are in the article SEFO Group acquires Unit Garage.

For motorcycle travelers, the most useful stop is EICMA Adventouring, now in its second year. It brings together the organizers of events in the FMI EICMA Adventure Series Trophy, such as Sterrare è Umano, 1.000 Sassi, Umbria Raid Experience, Terre Lucane Adventure and Queen Trophy. It’s the perfect place to choose your first rally of next season.
Whether to buy accessories now or wait for the show depends on what bike you have
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. It depends on whether your bike is changing generation or staying as it is.
- Your bike is still in production with no chassis changes, or is a model that has been discontinued: compatibility is known and verified.
- You’re looking for universal accessories, such as tank bags with a dedicated ring, 25 mm crash-bar bags, smartphone mounts, or auxiliary lights.
- You’re planning a winter or next spring trip and want to try out accessories before the season.
- You’re about to order a new motorcycle such as the 2027 Tiger 1200 or KLE650: crash bars and frames should be chosen for the actual bike, not the previous generation.
- You want an accessory that attaches to the frame, fairings, or handlebars of a recently updated model.
- You want to see the materials and closures of cases and bags in person at the stand before choosing.
For a large adventure bike that’s already in your garage, the key categories are always the same: carrying capacity with motorcycle cases and bags, protection with crash bars and handguards, and visibility with auxiliary lights. If you’re unsure whether a part fits your motorcycle, send us the make, model, and year.

Can you ride the Moto Guzzi The Trip 500 with an A2 license?
