The deal was completed with support from Metrika, the fund that controls the group. With Unit Garage, the group now has six brands, and the new team will make its public debut at EICMA 2026 (Fiera Milano Rho, November 3-8, public opening from the 5th), at the SEFO Group stand: Hall 7, Stand C04.
For motorcycle travelers, the news matters because CNC components, brakes, off-road, rally customization, and Loboo’s adventure gear now coexist within the same group. Endurrad will also be at the stand: Giuseppe Zappalà will welcome customers and visitors and introduce the full Loboo range.
SEFO Group acquires Unit Garage, bringing rally style into an industrial group
This is no ordinary financial deal: it is the first «heritage» customization brand to join a group built around racing components.

The announcement does not state the transaction price or the percentage acquired, and we will not estimate them. What it does say clearly is the intention: to give Unit Garage the group’s resources and expertise to grow in new markets, while preserving the creative freedom that has made it a recognizable brand. CEO Stefano Granvillano describes UNIT as a brand embodying «design and performance coming together to generate emotions».
Unit Garage was born from the Dakar, not a marketing office
To understand the brand’s value, you have to start with its founder and how he designs.
Fabio Marcaccini, from Wild Team to BMW GS kits
Starting in 1987, Marcaccini competed in five consecutive editions of the Paris-Dakar, when the rally was run on custom-prepared motorcycles. After racing came travel: in an interview with Moto.it, he says he prepared his motorcycle for an overland trip from Buenos Aires to New York, believing that a motorcycle should work first and foremost, not just look good.
Unit Garage grew out of that philosophy: kits and accessories inspired by the great adventures of the past, developed with partner Michiel Verstockt, an industrial designer, and the team in San Clemente.
What Unit Garage makes
- Plug-and-play conversion kits for BMW GS models (from the classic R 850/1100/1150 GS to the latest generations), Yamaha Ténéré, Ducati Scrambler, and BMW R nineT. According to Moto.it, they are reversible and require neither structural modifications nor updates to the vehicle registration document.
- Canvas bags and cases: waterproof cotton with leather trim, handmade in Italy, with dedicated frames and quick-release locks.
- Bags for original frames: for example, the Cult 40/50 line for the BMW R 1300 GS Adventure, with aluminum plates that attach to the original BMW frames.
- Duffle bags, tank covers, and small leather goods with the same rally-inspired aesthetic.
Transparency: Endurrad does not sell Unit Garage products today. We describe them to provide context about the brand, not to promote them. Instead, Endurrad sources the Loboo range through SEFO, the brand’s Italian distributor.
