Cold while riding a motorcycle is not distributed uniformly: it hits the hands first, then — indirectly — the feet as well, because the body restricts peripheral circulation to protect the torso. That is why the most efficient item to buy first is the heated vest, not the gloves: it warms the part of the body that controls circulation to the extremities.

LOBOO heated gloves, vest, and insoles should be chosen by priority, not all at once. Below are the actual temperature, runtime, size, and power-supply data for each, along with the exact cost of every configuration.

Availability note: as of this update, all three items are sold out in the Endurrad shop; the links in this article lead to the collection, where availability is updated as soon as they are back in stock.

When riding a motorcycle, the cold hits the hands first, then the rest

At 90 km/h in temperatures just above freezing, the body does not cool uniformly: the wind chill hits the extremities first and more forcefully, and they also have less muscle mass to warm themselves.

  1. Hands. They are exposed, they are in front of everything, and they are the only body part needed for braking: a numb hand is not a nuisance, it is a control problem.
  2. Torso. It is not the first to suffer, but it controls circulation to the extremities — the reason is explained in the section on the vest.
  3. Feet. They suffer as much as the hands but do not operate the motorcycle, and inside a boot there is almost no room to intervene.

Heated gloves are the most urgent item if your hands are already the problem

They cost 135 €, power supply not included, and they make the biggest difference to the riding experience in low temperatures.

LOBOO RST26: three heating levels, up to 50 °C at the fingertips.

Five layers, not a padded glove

From the outside in: windproof and water-repellent fabric, an inner seamless TPU glove, 3M Thinsulate insulation, a heating system, and velvet fleece. Seamless TPU matters in the rain because it has no entry points for water; at the same thickness, Thinsulate insulates one and a half times better than goose down, so the hand stays slim and sensitive on the controls.

  • Full-finger microfiber touchscreen, so you can use your phone and navigator without taking it off
  • Visor wiper on the left index finger, useful in rain or snow
  • Reflective inserts on the index, middle, and ring fingers, visible at night when you signal
  • Kevlar inner lining and non-slip palm that reduces fatigue on the handlebars

The heated vest warms the torso, and for this reason it also helps keep the hands warm

It costs 90 € and it is the garment with the best value for money, for a physiological reason: when the torso is cold, the body restricts peripheral circulation to protect the organs, and the hands and feet are the first to suffer the consequences. Warming the torso sends more warm blood to the extremities.

The warmth that remains even when the battery is dead

The heating element is made of carbon fiber, thinner and softer than traditional heating elements — the entire garment weighs 382 grams and fits under a technical jacket without adding bulk; the sleeves are intentionally absent because under a jacket, bulk around the arms is the first thing that becomes uncomfortable. Even when the heating is turned off, the vest provides insulation: the 3M Thinsulate padding retains over 80% of its insulating power when wet, while cotton in the same conditions drops below 30%. It therefore remains a functional thermal garment even when the electronics run out of power.

Heated insoles solve cold feet from inside the boot

They cost just under 90 € and they are the final piece of the puzzle. Cold feet always come before the rest, and with a motorcycle boot there is no room to put on an extra sock — in fact, making it tighter worsens circulation and therefore the cold. Insoles solve the problem in reverse, fitting into the footwear you already use and warming the entire sole.

The power source is the choice that determines how much you really spend

This is the part that almost nobody explains before purchase, and it is where the next day's emails come from: gloves and vests do not include the power source, and the two possible options are not equivalent.

4,000 mAh battery for heated gloves, with level indicators
Dedicated LOBOO CP40Pro battery, 4,000 mAh: one per glove, not included in the glove price.

Two ways to power the gloves

Dedicated CP40Pro battery, 4,000 mAh — €22.50 each, it slips into the zippered cuff pocket and weighs 93 grams. Runtime: 2.5 hours on low, 2 hours on medium, 1.5 hours on high. It recharges via USB-C in about 2.5 hours with a 2 A charger. You need one per glove: there are two, not one.

Power bank plus Y-cable — the cable costs €10 and delivers power from a single power bank to both gloves, with the cables routed under the jacket. This is the solution for long trips. An output of at least 15 W is required, preferably 18 W: below that threshold, fast-charging protocols on some power banks can cause interruptions or slower heating.

The vest, on the other hand, has a USB-A cable already integrated into the pocket and requires a 5 V and 2 A power bank, which is also not included.

Configuration Actual cost
Vest, with an existing power bank 90 €
Gloves with two dedicated CP40Pro batteries 180 €
Gloves with a Y-cable and an existing power bank 145 €
Heated insoles 87,13 €
Neither the CP40Pro battery nor the Y-cable is included in the glove price: they must be added to the cart separately, and the battery is not currently available as a separate item — check the collection before ordering the gloves if you do not already have a suitable power bank.

The vest is the first purchase, while the gloves are the most urgent if your hands are already the problem

The vest works if
  • you already have a 5 V and 2 A power bank at home
  • you want the best cost-benefit ratio
  • you feel widespread cold, not just in your hands
The vest is not enough if
  • your hands remain the problem afterward
  • take long motorway rides with your feet still for hours

If your hands are already the main problem and the vest alone is not enough, then the gloves - remembering to add two CP40Pro batteries or the Y-cable to your cart. Insoles come next, and make the most sense for those who take long motorway trips in winter, when the foot remains still for hours in the same position.

If you are unsure about the size or power supply, write to us before ordering: it's faster than making a return.

Frequently asked questions about heated clothing for motorcycling

Which heated garment should you start with?

The heated vest: it costs €90, does not require dedicated batteries if you already have a 5 V, 2 A power bank, and warming the torso indirectly improves circulation to the hands as well.

Why do hands get cold before the rest of the body on a motorcycle?

Because they are exposed to relative wind, are at the front of everything, and have little muscle mass to warm themselves; in addition, they are the only part of the body used for braking, so numbness is a safety issue, not just a matter of comfort.

How much do the LOBOO RST26 heated gloves cost?

€135, excluding the power supply. It is the most expensive of the three, but also the one that most changes the riding experience in low temperatures.

Do the LOBOO RST26 heated gloves include the battery?

No. They are powered by the dedicated 4,000 mAh CP40Pro battery (sold separately, €22.50) or by a power bank rated at least 15 W connected via the Y-cable, which is also sold separately.

How long does the heated gloves' battery last?

With the CP40Pro: about 2.5 hours on low, 2 hours on medium, and 1.5 hours on maximum (50 °C). One battery is required per glove, so two batteries are needed for the pair.

How are heated gloves powered on a long trip?

With a power bank and the Y-cable, which delivers power from a single power bank to both gloves under the jacket. LOBOO recommends an output of at least 15 W, ideally 18 W, because below that threshold some fast-charging protocols cause interruptions or slower heating.

Why does the heated vest also help warm the hands, even though it does not heat them directly?

When the torso is cold, the body restricts peripheral circulation to protect the internal organs, and the hands and feet are the first to suffer as a result. Warming the torso helps promote a flow of warmer blood toward the extremities.

How long does the LOBOO RJR10 heated vest last with a 10,000 mAh power bank?

About 4.5 hours on the low setting (25 °C), 3.5 hours on medium (35 °C), and 2.2 hours on high (45 °C), according to the manufacturer's data at an ambient temperature of 0 °C and in still air.

Does the heated vest also work when the battery is dead?

It still provides insulation because the filling is 3M Thinsulate: it retains over 80% of its insulating power even when wet, compared with less than 30% for cotton under the same conditions. So without power, it remains a functional thermal garment, not just a switched-off heated vest.

How do you choose heated glove and vest sizes?

Around the palm circumference for the gloves (from 18.5-19.5 cm for size S to 23.5-24.5 cm for 3XL, measured with a tailor's tape) and according to your usual size for the vest (from M to 3XL): if you are between two sizes, LOBOO recommends the larger one because the vest is worn over other layers.

How do heated motorcycle insoles work?

They fit into the footwear you already use and warm the entire sole of the foot across 4 levels, with a non-slip silicone surface and IPX7 protection against moisture that forms inside the boot.

Do heated insoles fit all shoe sizes?

One size covers shoe sizes 38 to 45: trim them along the guides printed on the insole. The cut cannot be corrected, so make it only once, carefully, using the original insole as a template.

How much does it cost to dress entirely in heated clothing for winter motorcycle riding?

The total varies depending on the power supply you already have: it ranges from about €90 for the vest alone (with a power bank you already own) to about €320 for the vest, gloves with two dedicated batteries, and insoles together.

Are LOBOO heated gloves, vests, and insoles available on Endurrad?

As of the update date of this article (October 1, 2026), all three products are listed as out of stock on the Endurrad shop. The links in this article lead to the heated motorcycle clothing collection, where availability is updated as soon as items are back in stock.

What is the difference between heated gloves and heated grips?

Heated grips are fixed to the handlebars and warm only the palm in contact with the grip; heated gloves warm the entire hand, including the fingers, and can also be used off the motorcycle. They are complementary rather than alternative solutions - our dedicated guide to heated grips explains how to choose them.

Enter your motorcycle's make, model, and year
