Is this cable better, or the batteries in the wristband?

It depends on the type of trip. The 4000 mAh batteries are convenient and wireless, but they provide about 2.5 hours on the low setting. With the cable, the power bank fits in an inner jacket pocket, and the battery life becomes whatever you choose: it’s the solution for long winter stages. In return, you have two cables running along the sleeves.

How long does heating with the cable last?

It depends on the power bank’s capacity and the selected heat level: the manufacturer does not publish runtimes when using the cable. With the CP40Pro battery, the stated runtimes are approximately 2.5, 2, and 1.5 hours on the three levels.

How do I know if the power bank isn't enough?

If the heating stops or remains slow, the power bank probably does not provide enough power or uses an incompatible fast-charging protocol. Try an 18 W model or higher. If the glove indicator flashes red rapidly, the manual indicates a malfunction: disconnect the power supply and have the gloves checked.

One or two power banks?

One is not enough: the Y connector powers both gloves from the same USB output. That’s why a power bank of at least 18 W is recommended.

Can I use it in the rain?

The manufacturer does not state a waterproof rating for the cable. The glove manual warns against using the heating when the inside of the glove is damp due to the risk of a short circuit; in the LOBOO setup, the power bank is protected in an inner jacket pocket.

Does it work with heated gloves from other brands?

The Y-cable for heated gloves powers both gloves from a single power bank: one USB-A plug on one end and two connectors on the other, one for each hand. It is the second power option provided in the manual for the RST26 heated motorcycle gloves, as an alternative to the battery in the cuff.

What it is for

With the 4000 mAh battery, the stated runtime is approximately 2.5 hours on the low setting. With the Y-cable, the power bank stays in an inside jacket pocket, the two cables run along the sleeves to the cuffs, and the runtime becomes that of the power bank you choose: this is the solution for long winter rides.
