The BHG-083 is the Barkbusters mounting kit designed for the handlebars of the Triumph Tiger 900 GT, GT Low, GT Pro, Rally and Rally Pro from 2020 to 2023 and the Tiger 850 Sport from 2021. It is the structure onto which Barkbusters plastics are mounted: on its own, it protects levers and hands from impacts; with the plastics, it adds protection from wind, cold and branches.
Main features
- Heat-treated aluminum bars, one right and one left.
- Two-point mounting: at the handlebar end and on a multi-fit clamp, an adjustable clamp that adapts to the tube profile.
- Compatible with JET-003, VPS-003 and BCF-003 plastics, sold separately. The manufacturer does not list STORM plastics for this code.
- Bar-end weights not included.
- Official instructions with illustrated parts list and tightening torques.
Protection and use
Barkbusters clearly distinguishes between the two mounting configurations, and the two-point configuration, anchored both at the end and at the center of the handlebar, is the one the manufacturer specifies for impact protection. On the Tiger 900 Rally, designed for off-road riding, and on the touring GT versions, this means keeping the brake and clutch levers protected from falls, stones and branches.
Materials and construction
Heat-treated aluminum bars (manufacturer code BAR-V-046) and MFC-L and MFC-R multi-fit clamps. The manufacturer does not state the finish or weight of the kit, so we do not report them.

Do you have a 2024 Tiger 900? The handlebar changes in 2024, and Barkbusters specifies the BHG-120.
Barkbusters states this compatibility for motorcycles in original factory configuration. Aftermarket handlebars have different diameters, wall thicknesses and end threading: mounting must be checked before purchase.
Installation
Remove the original handguards, if fitted. Mount the clamp on the handlebar without tightening it, aligning the reference marks, then secure the bar at the end and to the clamp connector and position it horizontally when viewed from the side. Tighten in the order specified by the manufacturer. Stated torques: 10 Nm for the M6 bolts and 28 Nm for the M8 bolts, using medium-strength threadlocker and checking the tightening after the first 50 km.
- Bar-end threading: the kit mounts in the handlebar's 6 mm hole using the included M6 bolts. For greater holding strength, the manufacturer recommends re-tapping it to 8 mm; the M8 bolts are not included in that case.
- Throttle: leave approximately 3 mm of clearance between the throttle grip and the handguard.
Barkbusters recommends professional installation.

What's NOT included
- Protection plastics. The kit is the structure only: the plastics must be purchased separately from those listed by the manufacturer for this code.
- Bar-end weights and end plugs: they are not included in the parts list.
- The M8 bolts for anyone who chooses to re-tap the threading, threadlocker and tools.
Plastics to pair with it
- JET-003: compact profile, for enduro and mixed use.
- VPS-003: deflector adjustable to two positions, for adventure and touring. It is being phased out, and the price list indicates the VPS-203 as its replacement.
- BCF-003, CARBON series: made of carbon fiber.

I installed the JADO S6 on my BMW GS (non-"dedicated" version), and although I don't use the BMW base, the display and features are still top notch. The night visibility is impressive, and the "X-Ray" mode, as they call it, makes evening riding much safer. The body is sturdy, and the IP69K waterproof rating won me over from the very first downpour. The WiFi/BT connection is stable, and the dedicated app makes downloading dashcam videos super fast. All in one device, without having to mount 3-4 different accessories. Excellent value for money.

The bag is of excellent quality and comes with all the necessary straps and a shoulder strap. The two methods of attaching it to the motorcycle are well designed and offer a range of options. I will also buy the larger model.
I saw the Endurrad ad on Facebook and immediately set about getting Loboo inflatable bags for my motorcycle...... But due to a technical error, I entered the wrong information on the order, which had already been shipped.
