Description Barkbusters BHG-124 handguard mounting kit for BMW R1300GS, aluminum
The BHG-124 in natural aluminum is the specific mounting kit for BMW R1300GS and R1300GS Adventure from 2024 onward: heat-treated aluminum bar, clamps, and hardware. It is the structure only, without plastics.
Available while supplies last: the manufacturer keeps only the black version in its catalog, identical in every respect except the finish.
The check to make before ordering
There are two different kits for the R1300GS, and the difference is not the motorcycle but the turn signal setup.

Impact protection
Two mounting points and heat-treated aluminum. Barkbusters states that this configuration is designed for impact protection: this is the key difference compared with the original handguards, which are mainly designed to protect against the wind.
Plastics are NOT included
For this kit, the manufacturer lists four series: JET-003, VPS-203, STM-003, and BCF-003. EGO plastics are not compatible.

What is NOT included
- Protective plastics, to be chosen from JET, VPS, STORM, and CARBON.

Premium upgrade on my BMW GS
I installed the JADO S6 on my BMW GS (non-"dedicated" version), and although I don't use the BMW base, the display and features are still top notch. The night visibility is impressive, and the "X-Ray" mode, as they call it, makes evening riding much safer.
