Description Barkbusters BHG-133 handguard mounting kit for BMW R1300GS with LED turn signals
The BHG-133 is the specific mounting kit for BMW R1300GS and R1300GS Adventure from 2024 onward, in the version with the amber light integrated into the original handguard. It includes the black aluminum structure and two sequential LED turn signals, right and left.
The check to make before ordering
There are two different kits for the R1300GS, and the difference is not in the motorcycle but in its equipment.

Barkbusters treats the two cases as two distinct motorcycles in its compatibility list. That is why this kit costs more: removing the original handguards means losing the amber lights they contain, and the BHG-133 replaces them.
Sequential LED turn signals
The LEDs do not light up all at once but in a sweeping sequence, one after another in the direction of the turn: the same behavior as the indicators BMW fits as standard on its more recent motorcycles.
Impact protection
Two mounting points and heat-treated aluminum, finished with black powder coating. Barkbusters states that this configuration is designed for impact protection: this is the substantial difference compared with the original handguards, which are mainly designed to protect against wind.
The plastics are NOT included
For this kit, the manufacturer lists three series: JET-003, VPS-203 and STM-003. CARBON is not listed for this code, unlike the BHG-124.

- Two heat-treated aluminum bars, painted black.
- Sequential LED turn signals, right and left.
- Clamps and complete hardware.
What is NOT included
- Protective plastics, to be chosen from JET, VPS and STORM.
A fitting note
Unlike almost all other Barkbusters kits, here the original BMW bar-end weight must be kept and reused. The standard handguards must be removed by disconnecting the amber LED light they contain.

I installed the JADO S6 on my BMW GS (non-"dedicated" version), and although I don't use the BMW base, the display and features are still top notch.
