Outplorer: the modular motorcycle mounting system

Not a mount, but a system: mounts, arms, heads and cases that combine with one another through standard interfaces. With air suspension that isolates the phone from engine vibrations.

In short. Outplorer does not sell finished mounts; it sells components that combine. Choose a mount (handlebar, mirror, clutch lever, brake master cylinder, or steering stem), an arm, and a device holder head. Each piece connects to the others via standard ball interfaces.

The technical feature that sets it apart is the air suspension: a miniature pneumatic shock absorber that isolates the smartphone from engine vibrations, protecting the camera's optical stabilizer.

Where to start: if you want the simplest solution, get an already assembled P100 kit (€94.00 to €107.00). If you want to build a custom setup, start with the PH10 head at €70.00 and add the mount your motorcycle requires.

How the system works

The difference from a traditional mount is all here: when you buy a standard mount, you choose once and are locked in. When you buy Outplorer, you choose three pieces, and each can be replaced without affecting the others.

Level 1

The mount

This is where the system attaches to the motorcycle: handlebar, clamp, mirror, mirror stem, clutch lever, brake master cylinder, or steering stem cap. It changes if you change motorcycles, or if you decide to move the device elsewhere.

Level 2

The arm

It connects the mount and the head, and determines the distance and angle. Double-jointed or multi-position articulated. One recommendation: always use the shortest one that lets you see the screen, because every centimetre of overhang amplifies vibrations.

Level 3

The head

It holds the device. It can be the air-suspension PH10 for smartphones, a GoPro adapter for action cameras, or the Quick Launch interface that connects directly to PRO cases.

The connecting element is the ball adapters: BM6, BM8 and BM10 for metric screws, BA25 with a one-inch ball for the most widespread standard. They cost €22.00 to €27.00 and let you attach the system to mounting points you already have on your motorcycle.

The ready-to-use P100 kits: the short route

If modularity isn't important to you and you just want a mount that works, the P100 kits are already assembled: PH10 air-suspension head plus mount. Only the type of mount changes.

Outplorer P100-A handlebar smartphone mount kit with air suspension

The most versatile

P100-A · Handlebar

107,00 €

Direct handlebar mount, the classic solution. It's the most complete of the three kits and the one that works on the widest range of motorcycles, provided there is free space on the tube.

When to choose it: if there is still space on the handlebar between the controls and handguards.

Outplorer P100-C universal collar handlebar mount kit

Universal collar

P100-C · Collar

104,00 €

Universal collar that fits multiple diameters: more flexible than the P100-A at the attachment point, useful when the tube has a non-standard section or when you want to mount it on a crossbar.

When to choose it: if you're not sure of the diameter or expect to move it.

Outplorer P100-B smartphone mirror mount kit

When the handlebar is full

P100-B · Mirror

94,00 €

The least expensive of the three, and often the only possible option: on many modern adventure bikes, the handlebar is already crowded with risers, controls, and wiring, leaving the mirror mount as the only free mounting point.

Limitation: it shifts the device to the side relative to the steering axis. Keep it as close to the fork stem as possible.

Outplorer PH10 smartphone holder head with anti-vibration air suspension

The heart of the system

PH10 · Head only

70,00 €

The air-suspension head sold on its own, without a mount. It's the starting point if you want to configure everything yourself, or if you already have a compatible mount on your motorcycle.

When to choose it: if you already have a dedicated mount and only need the part that holds the phone.

Outplorer H1000 Glory Knight Pro handlebar-mounted kit

The top of the range

H1000 · Glory Knight Pro

156,00 €

The most complete handlebar-mounted kit in the range. It's the benchmark if you're looking for the most refined setup without having to assemble it piece by piece.

Limitation: it costs as much as two P100-B kits. It makes sense if the device you mount is high-end and you cover a lot of miles.

Outplorer G100 kit with action camera and panoramic camera mount

For recording

G100 · Action camera

70,00 €

Kit designed for action cameras and 360-degree panoramic cameras. It uses the system's same mounts: you can install it at a second point without duplicating the bracket.

When to choose it: if you shoot travel videos and want a stable camera position independent of the phone.

The Quick Launch range: seven mounts, one attachment

This is the line that solves the most practical problem: removing the phone quickly when you leave the motorcycle, with gloves on, without taking anything apart.

The logic is simple: the mount stays on the motorcycle, and the device detaches with one motion. What changes among the seven models is where they are mounted, and each is designed to cover every possible front end, including the most crowded ones.

Quick Launch Outplorer mounts available from Endurrad
Code Mounting point When to use it Price
QM01 Handlebar The standard solution, if there is free space on the tube 65,00 €
QM02 PRO Handlebar Version with integrated anti-vibration damping 79,00 €
QM03 Handlebar clamp When clamping onto a non-standard section is necessary 79,00 €
QM04 Mirror Crowded handlebar: use the mirror mount 79,00 €
QM05 Mirror stem Version that mounts on the stem rather than the base 79,00 €
QM06 Clutch lever Low position on the left, outside the field of view 79,00 €
QM07 Brake master cylinder Low position on the right, for motorcycles with no space elsewhere 82,00 €
QB01 Front Central mounting in front of the dashboard 47,00 €
QB02 Steering stem cap The most rigid and centered position of all 52,00 €

Scroll the table horizontally to see all the columns.

The advice that's worth the money. At €52.00, the QB02 on the steering stem cap is often the best and most overlooked choice: it is the motorcycle's most rigid point, perfectly centered on the steering axis, and takes up no space. On motorcycles with crowded handlebars, it solves a problem that cannot be solved on the handlebar.

PRO cases: cleaner, but binding

They are the element that completes the system, and the one worth considering before buying.

A PRO case integrates the mounting interface directly into the cover: the phone clips in and out without jaws clamping it. Fewer pressure points on the phone body, faster mounting, and a smaller footprint.

They cost €39.00 each and cover:

  • iPhone: 14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro, 14 Pro Max, 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max, 16E, 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max and iPhone Air
  • Samsung Galaxy: S23, S23 Plus, S23 Ultra, S24, S24 Plus, S24 Ultra, S25, S25 Plus, S25 Ultra

The compromise to accept: the case is tied to that phone model. When you change smartphones, you also change the case. If you change devices often or if there are different phones in the family, an adjustable-jaw mount remains more flexible.

Anyone who does not want to change their case has a middle-ground option: the QU01 universal interface at €25.00, which attaches to an existing case and gives it the same mounting connection.

How to configure yours, in three questions

  • Where is there space on your motorcycle? Look at the front with the motorcycle stationary and your hands on the controls. If the handlebar has at least five centimeters of clearance, start with QM01 or QM02. If it is crowded, look at the mirror (QM04), clutch lever (QM06), or steering stem cap (QB02).
  • What are you mounting on it? Smartphone without a dedicated case: PH10. Smartphone with a PRO case: Quick Launch mount plus case. Action camera: G100 or GoPro adapter. Two devices together: two separate mounts, not a split arm.
  • How often do you remove it? If you leave the motorcycle on the street every day, the Quick Launch series pays for itself in convenience. If the phone stays mounted only during trips, a P100 kit is enough and costs less.

And one more thing, if you park in the city: the €20.00 AT10 anti-theft screw kit replaces the standard hardware with heads that cannot be removed with common tools. It protects the mount, which stays on the motorcycle when your phone leaves with you.

Outplorer or traditional mount?

Neither is absolutely better. It depends on how much you think your setup will change over time.

Comparison between a modular system and a traditional mount
Appearance Modular Outplorer Traditional mount
Initial cost From €94.00 with a P100 kit From €54.00 with a LOBOO PH02S
Changing motorcycles Replace only the mount A new mount is often required
Adding an action camera A €22.00 adapter A second complete mount
Changing smartphones A new case from €39.00, or PH10, which fits them all No cost with a clamp mount
Damping Pneumatic suspension Mechanical or magnetic
Simplicity of purchase Configure it, or get a kit One code, one choice

Choose Outplorer if you have more than one motorcycle, plan to add devices over time, or your motorcycle's handlebar is so crowded that it requires a non-standard mount.

Choose a traditional mount if you need one thing that works right away and do not plan to change your setup. In that case, the complete comparison of GPS and smartphone mounts gives you all the alternatives, including model-specific brackets.

Frequently asked questions

What exactly is the Outplorer system?

It is a modular system of motorcycle mounts consisting of three levels: a mount that attaches to the motorcycle, an arm that determines distance and angle, and a head that holds the device. The components connect via standard ball interfaces, so each one can be replaced without touching the others. Pre-assembled kits are also available in the P100 series for those who do not want to configure anything.

What is the air suspension?

It is the damping system used on the PH10 head and P100 kits: a miniature pneumatic damper that isolates the device from engine vibrations. It is especially useful with smartphones, because high-frequency vibrations from a motorcycle engine can permanently damage the camera's optical image stabilizer. It is an alternative to mechanical spring damping and magnetic damping.

Which piece should I start with?

Start with the mount, because it depends on your motorcycle and is the most restrictive component. Look at the front of the bike while it is stationary: if there is free space on the handlebar, start with QM01 or QM02; otherwise, consider the mirror, clutch lever, or steering stem cap. Then choose the head based on the device, and finally the shortest arm that lets you see the screen.

Is the PRO case mandatory?

No. The €39.00 PRO case integrates the mount into the cover and is the quickest, cleanest solution, but it limits the system to that phone model. Alternatively, you can use the PH10 head, which holds any smartphone with adjustable jaws, or the €25.00 QU01 universal interface, which adds the same mount to a case you already own.

Which phones are covered by the cases?

All iPhones from the 14 through the 17 Pro Max, including the 16E and iPhone Air, and Samsung Galaxy phones from the S23 through the S25 series in the base, Plus, and Ultra versions. Each case costs €39.00. For unsupported models, the PH10 head with adjustable jaws or the QU01 universal interface remains available.

How much does a complete Outplorer setup cost?

The most economical option is a ready-to-use P100-B kit for €94.00. A custom configuration starts at around €117.00 by adding the PH10 head at €70.00 and a Quick Launch mount at €47.00. The top-of-the-range option is the €156.00 H1000 Glory Knight Pro. Adding a PRO case and anti-theft screws brings the total to around €200.00 for a complete setup.

Can I also mount an action camera?

Yes, and that is one of the system’s advantages: the €70.00 G100 kit is designed for action cameras and panoramic cameras, and the GoPro GM10 and GB10 adapters are available for between €22.00 and €24.00. Using the same ecosystem, you can mount it on a second mount without duplicating the entire bracket.

Can the mount be stolen?

The device should always be removed, and the Quick Launch series is designed specifically to release it with a single motion. The mount stays on the motorcycle: to protect it, the AT10 anti-theft screw kit is available for €20.00, replacing the standard hardware with heads that cannot be removed using ordinary tools.
