Description KTM 790-890 Adventure Top Case Plate

The LOBOO JPT221W top case plate is the base to which the top case attaches, and it fits KTM 790 and 890 Adventure models, in both standard and R versions: the two motorcycles share the same chassis, while the engine differs.

  • PIKE TRACKER P36T — P36T-BK, P36T-SL
  • TIBET T36T — T36T-BK, T36T-SL

The P45T is the choice for those who want to fit a full-face helmet inside the top case, while the P36T and T36T keep the rear more compact.

The top case is not included: this page covers the plate only. It can be combined with the JP221B side frames, which remain a separate purchase.

  • Observe the maximum load on the rear rack indicated by KTM: the limit includes the plate and loaded top case.
  • Recheck the tightening after the first 100-200 km.

The plate provides access to six top-case codes: PIKE TRACKER P45T and P36T, and TIBET T36T, each available in black or silver. It is the base onto which the top case attaches, and must be purchased separately.

It works in combination with the JP221B side racks: the plate on the rear subframe, and the racks on the sides.

KTM 790 and 890 Adventure share the same chassis: the engine differs, not the rear subframe. The plate fits both, in standard and R versions.

You don’t need to check which of the two you have: the part number is the same.

It is the highest and rearmost point of the load: exceeding it affects stability more than the same weight in the side cases.

After installation, check that the top case does not cover the license plate or rear lights and does not extend beyond the limits established by the Highway Code.

Recheck the fasteners after the first 100–200 km: the rear rack flexes significantly when carrying a moving load.

Can I install the plate and side frames together?

Yes, they are complementary: the plate attaches to the rear rack for the top case, while the JP221B racks attach to the sides for the panniers. Together, they complete the luggage system. Always check the maximum loads specified by KTM in the owner’s manual.

Is the product covered by a warranty?

Yes: all LOBOO products sold on Endurrad are covered by the 24-month statutory consumer warranty. In the event of a lack of conformity, we will handle the claim with the manufacturer.

Can I return the product if it isn’t suitable?

Yes, you are entitled to return the item within 14 days of delivery under online purchase regulations. The product must be intact and in its original packaging: contact us and we’ll guide you through the process.

Premium upgrade on my BMW GS

I installed the JADO S6 on my BMW GS (non-"dedicated" version), and although I don't use the BMW base, the display and features are still top notch.
