The BHG-064 is the specific mounting kit for the R nineT Scrambler, R nineT Urban G/S and the new R 12 G/S family: heat-treated, black-painted aluminum bar, clamps and hardware.

Impact protection

Two mounting points and heat-treated aluminum. Barkbusters states that this configuration is designed for impact protection.

On these motorcycles, the lever is just as exposed as it is on an adventure bike, and anyone who rides the Scrambler or Urban G/S on dirt roads knows it: the handguard is the difference between a bent lever and a day that carries on.

Black finish

For this part number, the manufacturer offers only the black powder-coated version. On motorcycles with a classic look, it is the most discreet choice: with matching plastics, the result remains clean.

Montaggio e requisiti

Come si monta

  1. Verifica modello e anno, e che il manubrio sia quello originale.
  2. Rimuovi i contrappesi originali: la struttura si ancora all estremità del manubrio.
  3. Monta il morsetto sulla sezione dritta del manubrio, senza serrare a fondo, controllando il passaggio di cavi e tubazioni.
  4. Fissa la barra in alluminio all estremità del manubrio e al morsetto, poi portala in posizione.
  5. Monta le plastiche che hai scelto, allinea tutto e serra.
  6. Verifica il funzionamento di gas, freno anteriore, frizione e interruttore di arresto, e che lo sterzo giri liberamente da fondo a fondo. Ricontrolla il serraggio dopo i primi 50 km.

A chi ha una R nineT Scrambler, una Urban G/S o la nuova R 12 G/S e le usa anche su strade bianche, dove la leva è esposta quanto su una adventure.

A chi vuole protezione vera senza rovinare l estetica della moto: la struttura nera e le plastiche in tinta restano discrete.
