Il tessuto TPU composito e la cerniera ermetica portano la ALPS a IPX7, il grado più alto del catalogo LOBOO: copre anche la breve immersione, non solo i getti d'acqua ad alta pressione come l'IPX6. È la scelta per chi viaggia con elettronica, documenti o attrezzatura fotografica e non vuole imbustare tutto a parte.

Il grado vale per il vano principale con la cerniera chiusa fino in fondo. La tasca esterna, invece, non è impermeabile: LOBOO la indica per piccoli oggetti d'uso frequente, non per quello che deve restare asciutto.

È la caratteristica che separa la ALPS dalle borse stagne normali. La sacca da 1,5 L si infila in una tasca superiore dedicata e il tubo esce all'altezza della spalla: bevi in movimento, senza aprire il bagaglio e senza mettere piede a terra.

Su una tappa lunga cambia il ritmo più di quanto sembri: le soste per bere sono quelle che spezzano il viaggio senza aggiungere chilometri. La sacca è compresa nel prezzo, non è un accessorio da comprare a parte.

Nella confezione trovi 4 cinghie a sgancio rapido regolabili da 40 a 65 cm e 2 fibbie elastiche di estensione da 30 cm. Si agganciano a quattro punti di ancoraggio ai lati del codone: non serve comprare un telaio, una piastra o un portapacchi.

LOBOO prevede due procedure. Nella prima il punto A della cinghia si collega alla fibbia femmina sul corpo borsa; nella seconda le cinghie passano nel canale ricavato sul coperchio. In entrambi i casi tieni le cinghie lontane dallo scarico e assicura con il velcro la fettuccia in eccesso, perché non possa finire nella ruota o nella catena.

Chiusa la cerniera ermetica, dentro resta aria. Con la borsa mezza piena questo significa un volume gonfio che le cinghie non riescono a bloccare davvero, e che comincia a muoversi sul cattivo asfalto.

La valvola laterale risolve il problema: apri, comprimi, l'aria esce e il carico si compatta. La borsa si abbassa, il baricentro scende e le cinghie tornano a fare presa su un volume rigido. È il gesto che fa la differenza tra un bagaglio fermo e uno che balla.

Sui fianchi trovi il sistema MOLLE per agganciare pochette, portaborraccia o quello che vuoi tenere a portata di mano, e all'interno alcune tasche per separare i capi puliti dal resto. I pannelli riflettenti multidirezionali rendono la sagoma visibile da dietro e di lato quando è buio.

Una cosa va detta chiaramente: la tasca esterna non è impermeabile, e lo dichiara LOBOO stessa. Serve per guanti di scorta, biglietti, uno snack. Telefono, documenti e caricabatterie vanno nel vano principale, dietro la cerniera ermetica.

Sulla moto è una borsa posteriore da 46 L. Sganciate le cinghie diventa uno zaino con doppie spalline, oppure un borsone a mano con la maniglia superiore. Non devi travasare niente: quello che hai caricato la mattina arriva in camera così com'è.

A pieno carico i 46 L come zaino sono impegnativi su distanze lunghe a piedi, ma per il tragitto dal parcheggio all'hotel o dal campeggio alla piazzola risolvono il viaggio più scomodo della giornata.

La sacca d'acqua da 1,5 L è inclusa?

Sì, è inclusa e si inserisce in una tasca superiore dedicata, con accesso rapido durante la guida. È la caratteristica che distingue la ALPS dalle borse stagne standard: bere senza fermarsi cambia il ritmo delle tappe lunghe.

No, e il produttore lo dichiara esplicitamente. Il grado IPX7 riguarda il vano principale, chiuso dalla cerniera ermetica. La tasca esterna è pensata per piccoli oggetti d'uso frequente: sotto la pioggia non metterci telefono, documenti o elettronica.

Quante cinghie sono incluse e quanto sono lunghe?

Il kit comprende 4 cinghie a sgancio rapido regolabili da 40 a 65 cm e 2 fibbie elastiche di estensione da 30 cm. LOBOO raccomanda di posizionarle lontano dallo scarico e di assicurare con il velcro la fettuccia in eccesso, perché non possa finire nella ruota o nella catena.

A cosa serve la valvola laterale?

È una valvola di rilascio dell'aria. Dopo aver chiuso la cerniera ermetica il vano resta pieno d'aria: aprendo la valvola e comprimendo la borsa espelli l'eccesso, il carico si compatta e le cinghie tengono molto meglio. Serve soprattutto quando la borsa non è piena.

Si può usare come zaino o borsone?

Sì, è il sistema 3 in 1: doppie spalline per portarla come zaino, maniglia per il trasporto a mano e cinghie per il fissaggio alla moto. Con 46 L a pieno carico lo zaino è impegnativo su lunghe distanze a piedi, ma risolve il tragitto dal parcheggio alla camera senza travasare nulla.
