Yamaha accessoriesmodel by model

From the Ténéré 700 to the MT-09, from the Tracer 9 to the enduro WR models: Yamaha's catalog covers different worlds. The point to clarify before buying is the relationship between models that share an engine - MT-07, Tracer 7 and XSR 700 are built around the same twin-cylinder engine, but they do not use the same accessories.

MT-07, Tracer 7 and XSR 700 share the CP2 twin-cylinder engine, just as MT-09 and Tracer 9 share the CP3 three-cylinder engine. But the frame, tank and bodywork differ from one model to another, and so do the pannier frames, films and decals. What almost always carries over are grips, mirrors and electrical accessories.

What changes from one Yamaha to another

The Yamaha family is built around two engines: the 689 cc twin-cylinder CP2, which powers the MT-07, Tracer 7, XSR 700 and Ténéré 700, and the 890 cc three-cylinder CP3 in the MT-09 and Tracer 9. Sharing an engine does not mean sharing mounting points, however: the Ténéré 700 has a frame, tank and chassis that are completely different from those of the MT-07, and no protection product fits both.

What truly carries across the range is the handlebar mount: the Barkbusters handguard kit BHG-094 is listed as compatible with the MT-07 from 2021 to 2024, MT-09, Tracer and XSR 900. Everything that follows the shape of the tank or dashboard - grip stickers, films and instrument protection - has a model-specific code, and often a generation-specific one. This is the case with the XSR 700, which, although based on the MT-07, has a teardrop-shaped tank and round headlight, so it has entirely dedicated codes.

For competition enduro bikes, including the WR 250F, the catalog is intentionally limited: these bikes are equipped with racing parts rather than travel accessories.

Frequently asked questions

Do MT-07 accessories fit the Ténéré 700?

No, when it comes to protection, luggage racks and engine guards: the two bikes share only the engine, while the frame and bodywork are different. Universal accessories such as tank bags and mirrors do fit.

And between the MT-07, Tracer 7 and XSR 700?

The handlebar mount is compatible: the BHG-094 handguard kit fits the MT-07 from 2021 to 2024, as well as the MT-09, Tracer and XSR 900. Tank stickers and dashboard films do not fit across models, however, as they are cut to the shape of each model. The XSR 700 in particular has entirely dedicated codes.

Which Yamaha is easiest to equip?

The Ténéré 700 is the only one with complete luggage racks, aluminum panniers and lighting kits. For the MT-09, the year is decisive: three generations, three code series.

Do you have crash protection for road bikes?

Frame sliders, license plate holders and radiator guards are not catalogued for the MT-07, MT-09, Tracer and XSR 700. For these bikes, we offer handguards, tank grips, films and cruise control.
