The package contains two levers and the Allen key, not the light
What you receive is the second question, and here the product page is precise: the lever, not the lighting system.
The body is made of CNC-machined aluminum alloy with anodized finish. The lever reach can be adjusted to four positions using the same knob already on your motorcycle, which is transferred from the original lever to the new one. The M4 Allen key is included. The auxiliary light is not included and must be purchased separately.
The two lengths serve one purpose: choosing which fits your hand better, with or without a winter glove. LOBOO does not publish a comparison with the length of the standard BMW lever, so we cannot tell you which of the two is closer to the original.
The dial turns the light on, adjusts it and changes its color
The advantage is not the lever; it is where the control is located: where your hand already is.
An additional switch on the handlebar forces you to look for it or move your grip, and the worst time to do that is at night or on a difficult stretch of road. On the CLU081, the dial is semi-recessed into the lever body, and your thumb can reach it without letting go of the handlebar.

LOBOO specifies the CLU081 for the auxiliary light L18. The control is therefore designed for an auxiliary light with this logic: low beam, high beam, eight levels, white and yellow.
It can be installed in one session, without drilling or new fasteners
How do I install it? That is the third question. The LOBOO manual specifies six steps and no permanent modifications to the motorcycle.
- Remove the screws, nuts and brackets for the mirrors and handguards, if installed: without this step, the lever cannot be reached.
- Remove the hardware and the adjustment knob from the original lever.
- Reinstall them on the LOBOO lever, using the length you chose.
- Reinstall the brackets, mirrors and handguards, then close everything up.
- Connect the wiring to the auxiliary light using the quick connectors.
If you have handguards installed, factor them in: they are the first component to remove and the last to reinstall.
The auxiliary light to pair with it: declared L18, L18S in the catalog
The lever controls the auxiliary light, but the auxiliary light is a separate purchase. This requires an honest clarification.
The CLU081 manual mentions the L18. The Endurrad catalog currently lists the LOBOO L18S auxiliary light, ECE R149 approved (approval mark E57*149R00/08*1206 declared by the manufacturer), 21,000 lumens declared, €895.50, 2 pieces available. The L18S product sheet describes a ring that is installed on the clutch control, using the same setup as the CLU081. However, direct compatibility between CLU081 and L18S is not stated in the documentation we have: if you want this combination, write to us before ordering and we will verify it with LOBOO.
On the R 1200 and R 1250 GS Adventure, the auxiliary light can be mounted on a dedicated bracket: the LOBOO auxiliary light bracket for the R 1200 and R 1250 GS Adventure (Ø 25 mm spacers, €45.00) is available. Limits and approval: what to check before ordering
The lever does not change the auxiliary light's approval status: that is determined by the light itself. For the lighting system of motor vehicles, the Highway Code (Art. 72) requires type-approved devices: before installing an auxiliary light, check the approval mark stamped on its housing. For comparison, the BMW manual for the R 1250 GS Adventure (p. 75) states that original BMW auxiliary lights are approved as fog lights and may only be used in poor visibility: usage therefore depends on the light and its approval, not on the lever that controls it.
