The package contains two levers and the Allen key, not the light
What you receive is the second question, and here the product sheet is precise: the lever, not the system.
The body is made of CNC-machined aluminum alloy with anodized finish. The lever travel can be adjusted to four positions using the same knob already on your motorcycle, which is moved from the original lever to the new one. The M4 Allen key is included. The auxiliary light is not included and must be purchased separately.
The two lengths serve one purpose: choosing which one feels better in your hand, with or without a winter glove. LOBOO does not publish a comparison with the length of the standard BMW lever, so we cannot tell you which of the two is closer to the original.
The dial turns the light on, adjusts it, and changes its color.
The advantage isn't in the lever; it's in where the control is located: where your hand already is.
An additional switch on the handlebar forces you to look for it or shift your grip, and the worst time to do that is at night or on a difficult stretch of road. On the CLU081, the dial is semi-recessed into the lever body, and your thumb can reach it without letting go of the handlebar.

LOBOO identifies the CLU081 for the auxiliary light L18. The control is therefore designed for an auxiliary light with this logic: low beam, high beam, eight levels, white and yellow.
It can be installed in one session, without drilling or new hardware.
How do I install it? That's the third question. The LOBOO manual specifies six steps and no permanent modifications to the bike.
- Remove the screws, nuts, and brackets for the mirrors and handguards, if installed: without this step, the lever cannot be reached.
- Remove the hardware and the adjustment knob from the original lever.
- Reinstall them on the LOBOO lever at the length you chose.
- Reinstall the brackets, mirrors, and handguards, then close everything up.
- Connect the wiring to the auxiliary light using the quick connectors.
If you have the handguards installed, take them into account: they are the first component to remove and the last to reinstall.
The auxiliary light to pair with it: declared L18, L18S in the catalog
The lever controls the auxiliary light, but the auxiliary light is a separate purchase. This needs to be clarified honestly.
The CLU081 manual mentions the L18. The Endurrad catalog currently lists the LOBOO L18S auxiliary light, ECE R149 homologated (manufacturer-declared marking E57*149R00/08*1206), with a declared output of 21,000 lumens, priced at €895.50, with 2 units available. The L18S product sheet describes a ring that installs on the clutch control, the same setup as the CLU081. But direct CLU081 compatibility with the L18S is not stated in the documentation we have: if you want this combination, contact us before ordering and we will verify it with LOBOO.

Limits and homologation: what to check before ordering
The lever does not change the auxiliary light's homologation status: that is determined by the light itself. For motor vehicle lighting systems, the Highway Code (Art. 72) requires devices subject to homologation: before installing an auxiliary light, check the homologation mark stamped on its housing. For comparison, the BMW manual for the R 1250 GS Adventure (p. 75) states that original BMW additional lights are homologated as fog lights and may be used only in poor visibility: use therefore depends on the light and its homologation, not on the lever that controls it.
