Description LOBOO L18S ECE approved auxiliary light – 21,000 lumens, white to yellow from the bezel

The LOBOO L18S is the pinnacle of the LOBOO auxiliary light range: 21,000 lumens, six LEDs per light, and color temperature shifting from white to yellow without the need for lens covers.

ECE R149 Approved

Certified E57*149R00/08*1206, UN Regulation R149.00 Class B for right-hand traffic, with both dipped and main beams approved and the mark stamped on the body. Most aftermarket spotlights, however, are sold with the clause "for off-road use only."

Twenty-one thousand lumens, manageable

The dipped beam alone covers 5,000 to 16,500 lumens; with both main and dipped beams together, it reaches 21,000. For comparison, a motorcycle's original LED stops around 1,500.

The eight levels are what make this power usable: in the city or behind a car, you can lower it to the minimum instead of turning it off. Power consumption follows the intensity, from 50 to 165 W for the dipped beam and from 65 to 210 W with both beams.

From white to yellow, while riding

On other spotlights, yellow light is achieved with a lens cover that must be installed manually. Here, the color temperature changes electronically from 6000 K to 3000 K, across eight levels, by pressing and rotating the same ring that adjusts brightness. With fog coming and going, you don't have to stop.

Reflector, not just a lens

The L18S uses a cup reflector that distributes light more evenly across the illuminated area: less central hot spot, more real coverage of the roadway and edges.

One ring for everything

The aluminum alloy ring is installed on the clutch control. Press the main button to switch from dipped to main beam, rotate for brightness, press and rotate for color temperature. A dedicated button controls the passing flash.

Holding the horn for two-tenths of a second activates the warning flash, in addition to the three autonomous strobe modes.

Construction

Six non-replaceable LEDs per light, glass lens, entirely CNC machined aluminum alloy body with dissipation fins and IP68 rating. At 210 W, heat management is not a detail: the system automatically reduces power if the temperature rises, and the circuit is protected against reverse polarity and overvoltage.

Mounting

Multi-axis adjustable bracket. The included clamps cover tubes from 22, 25, and 28 mm; those for 32 and 38 mm are separate accessories, as indicated by LOBOO.

Diameter 108.4 mm, depth 86.5 mm, total height 154.8 mm with bracket.

Who is it recommended for

L18S or L16?

These are the two LOBOO headlights with electronically adjustable color temperature. They differ in power and optics.

  • L18S: 21,000 lumens, six LEDs, and a cup reflector for more uniform coverage. Draws up to 210 W.
  • L16: 19,000 lumens, five LEDs, and a high-efficiency lens with a sharp cut-off. Draws up to 190 W and is more compact.

If your motorcycle's electrical system is already loaded with heated grips and a heated jacket, the 20 W difference matters.

Two accessories worth considering:

  • Q7 Quick Release Mount— detach the headlights without tools, with a key lock and waterproof connector.
  • LC081 CAN-Bus Controller— control the headlights from the original BMW Wonder Wheel. Tell us your model and year: the correct cable depends on the motorcycle.

Check the diameter of the tube at the exact mounting point: the included clamps cover 22, 25, and 28 mm; 32 and 38 mm clamps are purchased separately.

Installation and Use

  • Connect via relay with dedicated fuse, never branched from an existing circuit.
  • Check the electrical system margin: up to 210 W with both beams active is the highest load in the range, especially if you already use heated grips or a heated jacket.
  • Adjust the beam inclination so that it does not dazzle oncoming traffic: this is the most important check and the most often overlooked.
  • The approval concerns the device. The conditions of installation and use on the vehicle remain subject to the Highway Code.

Il numero da solo non basta: sono gli otto livelli a rendere utilizzabile questa potenza. In città o dietro a un'auto scendi al minimo invece di spegnere.

La ghiera in lega di alluminio si fissa vicino alla leva della frizione: il pollice la raggiunge senza lasciare la presa, e un indicatore mostra il livello attivo.

Premi il tasto principale per passare da anabbagliante ad abbagliante, ruoti per la luminosità, premi e ruoti per la temperatura colore. Un tasto dedicato comanda il lampeggio di sorpasso.

Il cablaggio comprende un cavo che si collega al comando originale del clacson: tenendolo premuto per due decimi di secondo parte anche il lampeggio di avviso.

Un segnale sonoro e visivo insieme si nota molto più di uno solo. Restano disponibili tre modalità stroboscopiche autonome: alternata, simultanea e sequenziale.

Ogni faro monta sei LED non sostituibili dietro una lente in vetro trasparente. Il vetro non ingiallisce con i raggi UV e resiste meglio alla ghiaia sollevata dalla ruota anteriore.

Il corpo è in lega di alluminio interamente lavorata CNC, con alette di dissipazione ricavate dal pieno.

Tenuta IP68: pioggia battente, guadi e lavaggi non sono un problema. A 210 W però la gestione del calore conta quanto la tenuta all'acqua.

Corpo e driver riducono automaticamente la potenza quando la temperatura sale, evitando il decadimento del flusso luminoso nei tratti lunghi a bassa velocità. Il circuito è protetto contro inversione di polarità e sovratensione.

Quanti lumen produce davvero il L18S?

Sono valori riferiti alla coppia, non al singolo faro. Per confronto, il proiettore LED originale di una moto si ferma intorno ai 1.500 lumen.

Come si cambia la temperatura colore dal bianco al giallo?

Premendo e ruotando la ghiera installata vicino al comando frizione. La temperatura passa da 6000 K bianchi a 3000 K gialli su otto livelli, mentre la sola rotazione regola la luminosità.

È un cambio elettronico: non c'è nessun copri-lente da montare o smontare, quindi puoi passare al giallo in marcia quando incontri nebbia o pioggia.

Che differenza c'è tra il L18S e il LOBOO L16?

Sono i due fari LOBOO con temperatura colore regolabile elettronicamente. Il L18S monta sei LED con riflettore a coppa, arriva a 21.000 lumen e assorbe fino a 210 W. Il L16 monta cinque LED con lente ad alta efficienza, arriva a 19.000 lumen, assorbe fino a 190 W ed è più compatto.

Se l'impianto della moto è già impegnato da manopole riscaldate o giubbotto termico, i 20 W di differenza vanno considerati.

Su quali diametri di tubo si monta?

I collari in dotazione coprono tubi da 22, 25 e 28 mm. Per i tubi da 32 e 38 mm servono collari dedicati, che LOBOO vende separatamente.

Misura il diametro nel punto esatto in cui vuoi fissare i fari: sulle barre paramotore la sezione può variare lungo il tubo. Se hai dubbi scrivici marca, modello e anno della moto.

Il montaggio richiede modifiche alla moto?

No. La staffa si stringe sul tubo con il collare e ruota su più assi, quindi si fissa a manubri, barre paramotore o staffe già presenti senza forature né modifiche permanenti.

L'unico intervento riguarda l'impianto elettrico. Se non hai dimestichezza, affida l'installazione a un tecnico qualificato.

Quanto assorbe e il mio impianto elettrico regge?

Da 50 a 165 W in anabbagliante e da 65 a 210 W con entrambi i fasci attivi: è il carico più alto della gamma LOBOO. L'assorbimento segue il livello impostato, quindi ai livelli bassi consuma molto meno del massimo.

Vanno collegati tramite relè con fusibile dedicato, mai in derivazione da un circuito esistente. Se usi già manopole riscaldate o giubbotto termico, verifica il margine dell'alternatore della tua moto.

Posso comandarli dalla rotella originale della mia BMW?

Sì, con il controller CAN-Bus LOBOO LC081, accessorio venduto separatamente. Permette di comandare i fari dalla Wonder Wheel originale senza aggiungere interruttori al manubrio.

Il cavo di collegamento cambia in base al modello: scrivici moto e anno prima dell'ordine e ti confermiamo la versione corretta.

Si possono smontare rapidamente quando lascio la moto in città?

Sì, con il supporto a sgancio rapido LOBOO Q7, accessorio venduto separatamente. Ha un blocco a chiave e un connettore stagno scollegabile, quindi togli i fari senza attrezzi e li porti con te.

È utile anche fuori strada, per non esporre le lenti ai rami nei tratti più stretti.
