Description Side Pannier Racks for Yamaha Ténéré 700 from 2022 | PIKE TRACKER
Pair of side case racks for the Yamaha Ténéré 700 from 2022 onward, as specified by LOBOO. This is the structure onto which the side cases attach: the cases are not included.
LOBOO calls it the Side Case Rack, code JP871B, and states that it is for cases in the PIKE TRACKER and CONQUEROR series. With the PIKE TRACKER cases, the pair is 35 liters on the left and 30 liters on the right: the right case has a recess that clears the exhaust.
What you can mount on these racks
- PIKE TRACKER aluminum cases P35L + P30R, in matte black or polished silver: 498 × 268 × 408 mm and 6 kg for the left case, 498 × 244/208 × 408 mm and 5.6 kg for the right case. Complete dimensions and equipment are on the PIKE TRACKER aluminum cases page.
- WANDERER semi-rigid bags: LOBOO pairs them with the PIKE TRACKER side racks with 18 mm tubing. You can find them on the WANDERER semi-rigid bags page.
- ALPS inflatable cases of 23 and 30 liters, with mounts and keyed anti-theft system: you can find them on the ALPS inflatable motorcycle side cases page.
LOBOO aluminum cases mount only on LOBOO racks, and rigid cases from other manufacturers are not compatible with these racks.
What's included
The manual lists 14 items: left and right racks, crossbar, four pairs of brackets marked left and right (4, 5, 12 and 13), 4 M8 × 30 screws, 2 M8 × 20 screws, 6 M8 × 25 screws, 8 M8 washers, 4 15 mm caps, 6 Ø 20 caps with logo, and threadlocker.
How to install them
There are four steps: in the first two, the mounting points on both sides of the tail are cleared by removing the original components specified in the manual; in the third, the left rack is installed, and in the fourth, the right one. No drilling is required.
All M8 screws must be tightened to 20 N·m, using the included threadlocker. Check the L and R markings on the brackets before installing them: the pairs are not interchangeable between sides. LOBOO asks you not to fully tighten them until you have completed the adjustments.
Top case and complete kit
The top case requires the JP871W top case plate, sold separately. If you want racks and cases in a single order, there is the side case kit for the Yamaha Ténéré 700.
For the racks in the LOBOO PIKE TRACKER system, LOBOO specifies stainless steel and aluminum alloy without stating which part is made of which material. The weight and maximum load of the racks are not specified.
