Optional, selectable from the configurations
They compensate for the flaring of the original frames on motorcycles with a protruding side exhaust. Not required for the R 1300 GS and R 1300 GS Adventure.
Compatible frames
Original BMW R 1200 GS and R 1250 GS · LOBOO TIBET · LOBOO PIKE TRACKER
Other rectangular frames of a similar size require drilling the mounting points.
NON-compatible frames
Irregular or raised profile · tube other than 18 mm · exhaust outlet aligned with the case
LOBOO explicitly lists the Honda CB400X among the incompatible cases.

23 or 30 L inflatable panniers, with quick-release support for 18 mm frames.
All you need to know before ordering
Technical specifications, equipment, delivery, and warranty: find every detail, verified against official LOBOO documentation, below.
The LOBOO Alps Inflatable Panniers are soft 23- or 30-liter panniers that, once inflated, become an air cushion between the motorcycle and the ground. The manufacturer states a load capacity of at least 300 kg per inflated pannier: in the event of a slide, it is this volume of air that absorbs the impact, not the subframe.
They mount on side luggage racks using an adjustable quick-release mount, with just one requirement: an 18 mm rectangular-profile tube.
Key features
- Passive protection ≥ 300 kg per inflated pannier, with a one-way valve and a claimed autonomy of ≥ 6 hours
- IPX7 waterproofing with 0.6 mm TPU composite fabric on 840D mesh and a waterproof zipper
- Anti-theft system with steel cable and keyed lock, which can be keyed alike with LOBOO aluminum panniers
- Quick release: the pannier detaches from the mount in seconds and can be carried by hand
- MOLLE system on the outer panel, also compatible with mounts from other brands
- Duraflex buckles, reflective inserts, and expansion rings for extra cargo
Compatibility: the rack matters, not the motorcycle
The mount works on side luggage racks with an 18 mm rectangular-profile tube, with a center-to-center distance between 307 and 362 mm in width and between 180 and 207 mm in height. Direct fitment on original BMW R 1200 GS and R 1250 GS racks and on the LOBOO TIBET and PIKE TRACKER series. Official LOBOO photos also show installation on the KTM 1290 Super Adventure and Honda XL750 Transalp.
When spacers are needed
Many motorcycles with a protruding side exhaust have an original luggage rack that flares outward to make room for the exhaust. That flare must be compensated for, which is the purpose of the BDPQ01LBK spacers. You can add them directly from the configuration selector for the BMW R 1200 and R 1250 GS, KTM 1290 Super Adventure, Honda Africa Twin, Honda XL750 Transalp, and models with the same geometry.
On the BMW R 1300 GS and R 1300 GS Adventure, the spacers are not needed because the racks are symmetrical. Versions with a short exhaust do, however, require the LOBOO CPQ131 exhaust deflector, sold separately.
Incompatible models
LOBOO explicitly lists the Honda CB400X, CB500X, NX400, and NX500 and models with the same geometry as incompatible: on these motorcycles, the exhaust is aligned with the pannier and does not leave the necessary clearance. Racks with an irregular or raised profile and tubes with a diameter other than 18 mm are also excluded.
Don't have side racks? There's an alternative for crash bars
The Alps require 18 mm side luggage racks: without them, there is no way to mount them, and the racks are an additional expense. If you already have 25 mm round-tube crash bars installed, the LOBOO range offers the BHGB05T inflatable motorcycle bags: the same inflatable concept, the same claimed IPX7 rating, and the same 300 kg capacity, but 6 liters per bag and direct attachment to the bars.
They are not competing products. The Alps are the main luggage and replace a set of hard panniers; the BHGB05T bags are the quick-access compartment that supplements the luggage, for tire repair kits, rain gear, and documents. Riders who travel extensively use them together.
Main specifications
- Models BAB23TBK and BAB30TBK, black
- Pannier only: 380 × 150 × 400 mm (23 L) · 380 × 200 × 400 mm (30 L)
- Pannier with mount: 420 × 190 × 420 mm (23 L) · 420 × 240 × 420 mm (30 L)
- Mount capacity: 12 kg per side on asphalt, 8 kg on uneven ground
- The mount also accepts other brands' side bags measuring 360–420 × 150–200 × 380–440 mm
LOBOO ships either the old or new version of the product at random. The front label, some aesthetic details, and the internal mounting system differ—the new version offers two mounting methods—while the capacity, materials, dimensions, and performance remain identical. The stated center-to-center distance is the valid range for both versions.
