Honda CRF 1100 L Africa Twin - Adv Side Cases

Complete kit for Honda CRF 1100 Adventure from 2020 onward: a pair of JP322B side frames with mounting hardware, plus two PIKE TRACKER aluminum cases of 35 and 30 liters, in your chosen finish. One order, nothing to match up.

Why the two sides have different capacities

The right case holds 30 liters instead of 35 because it is shaped around the exhaust: this is the version LOBOO calls exhaust avoidance, with a recessed lower wall. On a motorcycle designed for off-road riding, it is a difference you notice in tight passages. The left case, without that constraint, retains its full 35-liter capacity.

How much it holds and how much it can weigh

The PIKE TRACKER series manual recommends not exceeding 10 kg per side case, and 5 kg for the top case if you add one: the stated reason is vibration while riding. The pair weighs 11.6 kg empty, excluding the frames: 6 kg for the left case and 5.6 kg for the right.

The two measurements for the right case refer to the upper and lower sections, where it recesses around the exhaust. These are dimensions stated by the manufacturer based on manual measurement, so some tolerance should be expected.

Installing the frames

The manual provides separate installation views for the left and right sides because the brackets differ. The frames attach to the anchoring points already present on the motorcycle, and no drilling is specified. The torque settings are 12 N·m for the M6 bolts and 20 N·m for the M8 bolts. The parts list contains eighteen items, including the service tool: the only tool you need to provide is a torque wrench.

The frame manual lists the internal code JP332B, while the commercial code is JP322B: it is the same product.

Check your Africa Twin version

The LOBOO manual specifies Honda CRF 1100 L Adventure Sports from 2020 onward. The standard CRF 1100 L is not mentioned by the manufacturer and has a different rear subframe: if that is your motorcycle, contact us before ordering so we can ask the distributor for confirmation.

Construction

• High-strength aluminum, with the lower corners protected by structural plastic bumpers
• Key lock with a five-wafer cylinder, removable and replaceable without changing the case
• Scratch-resistant inner lining, fabric pocket in the left lid, storage net on the right
• Lid with an opening stop and 3M reflective inserts on the outer side
• Finishes: glossy silver or matte black

LOBOO states that the series is water- and dust-resistant, but does not publish an IP rating: we do not list one because it is not a manufacturer-certified specification.

If you want a top case in the future

The JP322W top-case plate is a separate product: it attaches to the motorcycle's original rear rack, not to the side frames. You can therefore add it before or after, without altering anything already installed.

Alternatives for the same frames

Maintenance

Wash with a water jet held at least one meter away, use a neutral detergent, and dry immediately afterward. Avoid acidic or alkaline products. Make a note of the number stamped on the key: it is needed to make a duplicate.
