Description Aluminum Side Cases for KOVE 800X with Racks | PIKE TRACKER 35+30 L

Complete kit for KOVE 800X from 2023 onward: the pair of JP661B side racks plus the two PIKE TRACKER aluminum panniers with capacities of 35 and 30 liters, in the finish of your choice. One order, nothing else to match.

Why the two sides have different capacities

The right P30R pannier is shaped to clear the exhaust: it is deeper at the top (227 mm internal) than at the bottom (167 mm), which is why it holds 30 liters. The left P35L, without that constraint, holds 35 liters.

The pair weighs 11.6 kg when empty, excluding the racks. These dimensions are based on manual measurements and therefore have a tolerance.

The racks and installation

The JP661B racks are installed in four steps, one for removal and three for installation, without drilling, using M8 bolts tightened to 20 N·m and threadlocker included in the package. The parts list and sequence are on the KOVE 800X side racks page, together with the downloadable manual. The panniers attach only to LOBOO racks.

What is not included

The top case and the JPT661W top case plate are sold separately. Each pannier has its own sensor light in the lid: the kit includes two, one for each side.

Before ordering

If you already have the racks, you can purchase just the panniers from the PIKE TRACKER series page. If you prefer semi-rigid panniers, the same racks accept the WANDERER panniers. LOBOO does not state a maximum load for each pannier: the maximum load specified by KOVE for the motorcycle applies.

Aluminum PIKE TRACKER suitcases

LOBOO's aluminum series, with the right case shaped around the exhaust. The KOVE 800X kit includes the P35L on the left and the P30R on the right: 65 liters in total.

Which motorcycles is this kit installed on?

For the KOVE 800X from 2023 onward: this is the model specified by both the JP661B frame manual and the LOBOO panels. The other 800X versions are not mentioned in the manufacturer's sources: if you have a different version, contact us before ordering.

What material are the suitcases in the kit made of?

Aluminum alloy, with the lower corners covered in high-strength technical plastic that protects the edge in the event of a slide. Available in polished silver or matte black, in the same sizes.

Are the suitcases waterproof?

LOBOO states that the PIKE TRACKER cases keep water out even in heavy rain and that the lock is designed to protect against water and dust, but it does not publish an IP rating for the cases. For electronics and documents, we still recommend using an internal dry bag.

Do the suitcases lock with a key?

Yes. Each suitcase has its own key lock with a five-tumbler cylinder, designed to protect against water and dust.

Why is the suitcase on the right smaller?

Because the exhaust runs along the right side. The P30R is shaped to clear it: it is 227 mm deep at the top and 167 mm at the bottom, which is why it holds 30 liters compared with the left side's 35.

How much do the suitcases weigh?

The P35L weighs 6 kg and the P30R 5.6 kg when empty: 11.6 kg per pair, excluding the frames. The weight of the frames is not stated.

How much weight can I put in each suitcase?

LOBOO does not specify a maximum load for either the panniers or the frame. The motorcycle's maximum load listed by KOVE in the owner's manual applies: distribute the weight between both sides and keep heavy items low.

How are the frames assembled?

In four steps, without drilling: one for removal and three for installation. The JP661B manual specifies M8 screws tightened to 20 N·m with threadlocker, included in the package, and reusing some of the motorcycle’s original screws, marked as OEM in the diagram. The cases then attach to the frames without tools.

Can I mount the luggage on frames from other brands?

No. LOBOO states that its aluminum cases can only be mounted on LOBOO frames. In contrast, JP661B frames also accept WANDERER soft panniers, in addition to PIKE TRACKER cases.

I already have the JP661B frames: can I buy just the cases?

Yes. The PIKE TRACKER 35+30 L suitcases can also be purchased separately from the PIKE TRACKER series page. This kit is designed for those starting from scratch.

Can I add the top case?

Yes, with the JPT661W top case mounting plate, sold separately. LOBOO panels for the KOVE 800X indicate two PIKE TRACKER top cases: the P36T and the P45T. The top case and mounting plate are not included in this kit.

Is the sensor light included?

Yes, one per suitcase, in the lid: it turns on automatically when you open the suitcase. It has an IP54 rating and a strap so you can also use it as a headlamp.

What’s the difference between the black version and the silver one?

Only the finish: polished silver or matte black. The dimensions, weights, lock, and interior equipment are the same. The kit price also changes.
