Description LOBOO Wanderer Semi-Rigid 40+40 L Luggage Kit with Frames for BMW R 1300 GS

The LOBOO Wanderer Semi-Rigid Panniers can only be mounted on dedicated LOBOO side racks, and for the BMW R 1300 GS the correct code is JP131B — not the one for the GS Adventure. This kit includes everything: two 40 L panniers, two 20 L waterproof bags, and the JP131B racks. One order, compatibility already verified, 120 liters of total capacity.

Why the configuration is 40+40

The dedicated rack for the R 1300 GS allows two identical panniers without interference with the exhaust. The load remains balanced on both sides, and the motorcycle handles more neutrally when fully loaded—something that does not happen with an asymmetrical configuration.

Mounting the Wanderer cases requires dedicated LOBOO side frames, and choosing the wrong code is easier than it seems: the R 1300 GS and the R 1300 GS Adventure have different geometries and different frames, JP131B versus JP151B. This kit has already made the choice for you.

In a single order, you get the two 40 L cases, the two 20 L waterproof bags, and the JP131B frames designed for the R 1300 GS rear subframe. No need to cross-check different pages, and no returns because of the wrong frame.

The rack designed for the R 1300 GS accommodates two identical 40 L cases without interference from the exhaust. The load is balanced on both sides, providing more neutral cornering behavior and no asymmetry to compensate for when the motorcycle is fully loaded.

With the two included 20 L waterproof bags, the total capacity reaches 120 L.

The LOBOO JP131B side racks are made of steel and are designed around the geometry of the rear subframe of the R 1300 GS. The 18 mm tube is the size used by the adjustable quick-release mount for the Wanderer cases: the cases can be attached and removed by hand, without tools.

The same racks also accommodate PIKE TRACKER aluminum cases, so you can change your luggage setup in the future without having to redo the installation.

The TPU fabric combined with the patented magnetic roll-top closure provides certified IPX6 protection: heavy rain and high-pressure jets stay out, with no cover to fit over the luggage in a downpour.

The closure rolls up and fastens with one hand, even while wearing winter gloves.

Each case has a barrel lock on the upper strap. The cylinder can be keyed alike to the same key as LOBOO aluminum cases: if you want them keyed alike, request this when placing your order and specify the key number.

The exterior panels feature MOLLE webbing, also compatible with attachments from other brands: pouches, bottle holders, and accessories can be mounted without drilling or modifying the cases.

Are the side frames included in the price?

Yes. The kit includes LOBOO JP131B steel side frames, designed for the BMW R 1300 GS, as well as two 40 L panniers and two 20 L waterproof bags. You don’t need to purchase anything else to mount the panniers.

Do they fit the original BMW pannier racks for the R 1300 GS?

No. You need the dedicated Loboo side frames for the R 1300 GS, designed for quick attachment of the Wanderer cases and the new geometry of the rear subframe.

Why is the configuration 40 L + 40 L and not 40 L + 30 L?

On the R 1300 GS, the dedicated JP131B side frame enables a symmetrical 40/40 configuration without interference with the exhaust. The result is 120 L in total, including the two 20 L bags, with a balanced load on both sides.

Is it better to buy the kit or the cases and frames separately?

The kit exists to simplify the purchase, not to leverage the price: on a single page, you’ll find the combination already verified for the R 1300 GS, without having to cross-reference the frame code with the pannier code.

If you prefer to put together your own setup—for example, 40+30 L panniers, or PIKE TRACKER aluminum panniers on the same frames—you’ll also find the two items separately on Endurrad. Write to us and we’ll point you to the correct combination.

Do they withstand pressure-washer cleaning?

The IPX6 rating covers high-pressure water jets. However, avoid aiming a pressure washer at close range at the seams and magnetic roll-top closure.

Is the product covered by a warranty?

Yes: all LOBOO products sold on Endurrad are covered by the 24-month statutory consumer warranty. In the event of a lack of conformity, we will handle the claim with the manufacturer.

I installed the JADO S6 on my BMW GS (non-"dedicated" version), and although I don't use the BMW base, the display and features are still top notch.
