Description LOBOO CJC91 Side Stand Plate for Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro from 2021 | CNC aluminum, mounts on the original stand foot

The LOBOO CJC91 sidestand enlarger plate widens the foot of the 2021 and newer Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro side stand and distributes the motorcycle’s weight over a much larger area. The original foot does not need to be removed: it remains enclosed between the base and the upper bracket, secured by three M5×14 screws.

The standard foot transfers the entire load onto just a few square centimetres. On compacted earth, gravel, wet grass, or sun-softened asphalt, it sinks, and the motorcycle slowly lowers until it lies down. On the Rally Pro, designed to leave the asphalt behind, this is an everyday situation whenever you stop during a trip.

How it is made

Two-piece construction in CNC-machined high-strength aluminium alloy: a ground-contact base and an upper bracket that clamps onto the original foot. The edge is grooved along the sides and bottom to prevent lateral sliding on sloping surfaces.

What the manual states

  • Compatibility: 2021 and newer Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro
  • Package contents: base, bracket, 3 M5×14 screws, 3 mm hex key, and threadlocker
  • Tightening torque: 4 N·m, the same value for all three screws
  • Do not fully tighten immediately: make adjustments first, then tighten in sequence
  • Periodically check the fastening screws

The manufacturer does not specify the weight or dimensions for this code.

For other models, see all side-stand plates.

Why choose it
Who is it recommended for

Documents and manufacturer

It’s not the motorcycle’s weight that makes it sink

It’s not the motorcycle’s weight that makes it sink

Sinking depends on ground pressure, not total weight. The original foot of the Tiger 900 transfers the entire load onto just a few square centimeters: on packed earth, gravel, or wet grass, it sinks in.

The plate distributes the same load over a much larger area. It does not eliminate the risk: assessing the surface where you park remains your responsibility.

The original foot stays where it is

The original foot stays where it is

The stock foot does not need to be dismantled: it is enclosed between the base and the upper bracket, secured by three M5×14 screws. No drilling, no welding, and no original components need to be sacrificed.

To return it to the original configuration, all you need are three screws—important if the motorcycle is still under warranty or if you plan to resell it.

CNC-machined, not printed

CNC-machined, not printed

LOBOO states high-strength CNC-machined aluminum alloy for two practical reasons: the surface finish and the precision of the hole positioning.

For a part that bolts onto the original foot, the second matters more than the first: if the holes are not aligned to the millimeter, the plate sits crooked.

Tread grooves that bite into the ground

Tread grooves that bite into the ground

The edge is grooved along the sides and bottom. It is designed to prevent lateral sliding: on a sloped surface, a smooth plate can slip, and widening the contact area without providing grip would solve only half the problem.

Four newton-meters, and longer screws

Four newton-meters, and longer screws

The manual gives a single value for all three M5×14 screws: 4 N·m. They are longer than the screws with other codes in the same family, and the torque is lower: they are not interchangeable.

The package includes the 3 mm Allen key and threadlocker. The manufacturer asks you not to fully tighten them immediately and to check them periodically.

One code, one motorcycle

One code, one motorcycle

The manual specifies a single application: Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro from 2021 onward. The kickstand foot has a unique shape for each model, and LOBOO codes are not interchangeable.

For the Tiger 1200 GT Pro, the code CJC921 is available. If you have another Tiger or a different trim level, contact us before ordering.

Before and after, on clay courts

Before and after, on clay courts

The LOBOO mounting panel shows the same kickstand against the same background: without the plate, the tip sinks into the ground; with the plate, it stays supported. This is typical of a Rally Pro, which often leaves the asphalt behind.

What the manufacturer states, and what it does not

What the manufacturer states, and what it does not

For this code, LOBOO specifies compatibility, material, workmanship, parts list, and tightening torque. However, it does not specify either the weight or the dimensions.

We prefer to write this rather than estimate a value. If you need the exact measurement for a specific reason, ask us and we will measure it on the item in stock.

FAQs

For more information, please see our FAQ.

Does the original kickstand foot need to be removed?

No. The stock foot remains in place, enclosed between the base and the upper bracket and secured with three M5×14 screws. No drilling or permanent modifications to the motorcycle.

What tools are needed, and what’s included in the package?

The manual lists five items: base, bracket, three M5×14 screws, a 3 mm Allen key, and threadlocker. To comply with the specified torque of 4 N·m on all three screws, a torque wrench is required: this is a low value, and it is easy to exceed it by hand on M5 screws.

Does it fit other Tiger models or other versions of the 900?

The installation manual lists only the Tiger 900 Rally Pro from 2021 onward. For the Tiger 1200 GT Pro, the code is CJC921. If you have a different Tiger 900 configuration, contact us before ordering with the model and year: we will check with the manufacturer and let you know whether the stand foot is the same.

Can I install it myself, or do I need a mechanic?

It’s within reach of anyone with basic DIY skills: three screws, no drilling, and no need to remove any part of the motorcycle. The Allen key is included; you only need a torque wrench for the 4 N·m. The illustrated manual in eight languages is included.

Is it really useful if I mainly use the Tiger on the road?

The most common situation is not off-road terrain but hot summer asphalt: the softened bitumen gives way beneath the small surface area of the original foot, and the motorcycle slowly sinks. The same applies to gravel parking lots and stops on grass. If you always park on concrete, the benefit is smaller.

How much does it weigh, and how big is it?

For this LOBOO code, neither the weight nor the dimensions are specified: the technical documentation we have lists the material, processing, bill of materials, and torque, but not the measurements. We prefer to state this rather than estimate. If you need the exact data, ask us and we will measure the item in stock.

Does it interfere with the center stand?

No: the plate only acts on the side stand and has no effect on the geometry or operation of any center stand. They are two independent systems.

Change the parked motorcycle's lean angle?

A little, yes. Adding thickness under the foot slightly raises the support point, so the bike remains a bit more upright. LOBOO states this for the entire range and considers it an advantage: a loaded bike tends to lean more than necessary, and a few degrees less makes it easier to bring back upright.

Is maintenance required after assembly?

The manufacturer asks you to check the fastening screws periodically, in addition to checking them after the first few uses. This part bears the weight of the motorcycle every time you park it, and the threadlocker provided is intended specifically for this purpose.

I'm not sure it will fit my motorcycle—what should I do?

Contact us before ordering and include the model, year, and trim. If you’re unsure about your kickstand foot, send us a photo and we’ll check it for you. It’s faster than a return.

Is it an original LOBOO product, and how does shipping work?

Yes: genuine, brand-new LOBOO product in the manufacturer's packaging, purchased through the official distributor for Italy. Tracked shipping throughout Italy, free for orders over 100 euros; in Europe, free for orders over 250 euros.

What warranty does it have, and can I return it?

The product is covered by the 24-month statutory consumer guarantee of conformity. In the event of a defect, we will handle the claim with the manufacturer. You also have 14 days from receipt to exercise your right of withdrawal by returning the product intact and in its original packaging.
