Description LOBOO CJC421 kickstand plate for Suzuki V-Strom 800DE from 2024 | CNC aluminum, 125 g

The LOBOO CJC421 side-stand foot enlarger widens the foot of the side stand on the Suzuki V-Strom 800DE from 2024 onward and distributes the motorcycle's weight over a much larger area. The original foot does not need to be removed: it remains enclosed between the base and the upper bracket, secured by three M5×10 screws.

The standard foot transfers the entire load onto just a few square centimetres. On hard-packed soil, gravel, wet grass, or asphalt softened by the sun, it sinks, and the motorcycle slowly lowers until it tips over. On the 800DE, which comes with a 21-inch front wheel and is designed for off-road riding, this is the situation at every stop away from the asphalt.

Construction

CNC-machined aluminium alloy, stated weight 125 g. Two-piece construction: a black support base and a silver upper bracket that clamps onto the original foot. The edge is grooved along the sides and bottom to prevent lateral sliding on sloping surfaces.

What the manual states

  • Compatibility: Suzuki V-Strom 800DE from 2024 onward
  • Package contents: base, bracket, 3 M5×10 screws, T25 Torx key, and threadlocker
  • Tightening torque: 5 N·m, the same value for all three screws
  • Do not fully tighten immediately: make adjustments first, then tighten in sequence
  • Periodic inspection of the fastening screws

The dimensions are not specified by the manufacturer, who also warns that measurements are taken by hand.

For other models, see all side-stand foot enlargers.

Why choose it
  • Il piede originale resta montato: installazione reversibile, senza forature né saldature.
  • Attrezzo e frenafiletti inclusi: chiave Torx T25 nella confezione, coppia dichiarata 5 N·m.
Who is it recommended for

Documents and manufacturer

It’s not the motorcycle’s weight that makes it sink

It’s not the motorcycle’s weight that makes it sink

Sinking depends on ground pressure, not total weight. The original stand of the V-Strom 800DE concentrates the entire load on just a few square centimeters, so it sinks into compacted earth, gravel, or wet grass.

The plate distributes the same load over a much larger area. It does not eliminate the risk: assessing the ground where you park remains your responsibility.

The original foot stays where it is

The original foot stays where it is

The stock stand is not disassembled: it is enclosed between the base and the upper bracket, secured with three M5×10 screws. No drilling, no welding, and no original components to sacrifice.

To return to the original setup, all you need are three screws — important if the motorcycle is still under warranty or if you plan to resell it.

A T25 Torx is needed, not an Allen key.

A T25 Torx is needed, not an Allen key.

The supplied key is a T25 Torx because the screws have a star-shaped recess rather than a hexagonal one. Not all models in the range are the same: others use a 3 mm Allen key, so if you have already installed one on another motorcycle, do not assume the tool is the same.

The specified torque is 5 N·m for all three screws. The manufacturer asks you not to fully tighten them immediately and to check them periodically.

Tread grooves that bite into the ground

Tread grooves that bite into the ground

The edge is grooved along the sides and bottom. It is designed to prevent lateral sliding: on a sloped surface, a smooth plate can slip, and widening the contact area without providing grip would solve only half the problem.

One code, one motorcycle

One code, one motorcycle

The manual specifies a single application: Suzuki V-Strom 800DE from 2024 onward. The kickstand foot has a model-specific shape, and LOBOO codes are not interchangeable.

For the V-Strom 1050, V-Strom 1000, GSX-S, and Katana, code CJC411 is available. If you have another Suzuki, write to us and we’ll tell you which one is right.

One hundred and twenty-five grams, and they only appear on the invoice

One hundred and twenty-five grams, and they only appear on the invoice

The LOBOO specifications sheet states CNC-machined aluminum alloy and a weight of 125 g: practically nothing on a motorcycle weighing over 200 kg in running order.

CNC machining is mainly used for precise hole placement: if they are not accurate to the millimeter, the plate sits crooked. The dimensions are not specified, and we prefer to say so rather than estimate them.

FAQs

For more information, please see our FAQ.

Does the original kickstand foot need to be removed?

No. The stock footrest stays in place, enclosed between the base and the upper bracket and secured with three M5×10 screws. No drilling or permanent modification to the motorcycle.

What tools are needed, and what’s included in the package?

The package includes the base, bracket, three M5×10 screws, a T25 Torx key, and threadlocker. Note: the screws have Torx heads, not hexagonal ones, so an Allen key will not work. To achieve the specified torque of 5 N·m on all three screws, a torque wrench is required.

Does it fit other Suzuki models?

No. The CJC421 code is listed only for the V-Strom 800DE from 2024 onward. For the V-Strom 1050 and 1050XT, V-Strom 1000, GSX-S 1000F, GSX-S 750, GSR 750, Burgman 400, and GSX-S 1000S Katana, the code CJC411 is available. Write to us and we’ll tell you which one is right.

Can I install it myself, or do I need a mechanic?

It's within reach of anyone with a basic level of DIY skill: three screws, no drilling, and no need to remove any part of the motorcycle. The Torx T25 is included; you only need a torque wrench for the 5 N·m. The illustrated manual in eight languages is included.

Is it really worth it if I mainly use the 800DE on the road?

The most common situation is not off-road terrain but hot summer asphalt: the softened bitumen gives way beneath the small surface area of the original foot, and the motorcycle slowly sinks. The same applies to gravel parking lots and stops on grass. If you always park on concrete, the benefit is smaller.

How much does it weigh, and what is it made of?

The LOBOO parameter sheet states that it is made of aluminum alloy, features CNC machining, and weighs 125 g. However, the dimensions are not specified, and the manufacturer warns that measurements are taken manually and may have tolerances. If you need the exact overall dimensions, ask us and we will measure the item in stock.

Does it interfere with the center stand?

No: the plate only acts on the side stand and has no effect on the geometry or operation of any center stand. They are two independent systems.

Change the parked motorcycle's lean angle?

A little, yes. Adding thickness under the foot slightly raises the point of support, so the bike remains a touch more upright. LOBOO states this for the entire range and considers it an advantage: on a loaded bike, a few degrees less makes it easier to bring back upright.

Is maintenance required after assembly?

The manufacturer asks you to check the fastening screws periodically, in addition to checking them after the first few uses. This part bears the weight of the motorcycle every time you park it, and the threadlocker provided is intended specifically for this purpose.

I'm not sure it will fit my motorcycle—what should I do?

Contact us before ordering with the motorcycle’s model, year, and version. If you’re unsure about your kickstand foot, send us a photo and we’ll check it for you. It’s faster than making a return.

Is it an original LOBOO product, and how does shipping work?

Yes: genuine, brand-new LOBOO product in the manufacturer's packaging, purchased through the official distributor for Italy. Tracked shipping throughout Italy, free for orders over 100 euros; in Europe, free for orders over 250 euros.

What warranty does it have, and can I return it?

The product is covered by the 24-month statutory consumer guarantee of conformity. In the event of a defect, we will handle the claim with the manufacturer. You also have 14 days from receipt to exercise your right of withdrawal by returning the product intact and in its original packaging.
