Description LOBOO CJC321 Sidestand Foot Plate for Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin and Adventure Sports from 2020 | CNC Aluminum

The LOBOO CJC321 sidestand foot plate enlarges the footprint of the side stand on the Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin and Africa Twin Adventure Sports from 2020: when parked, the motorcycle’s weight is distributed over a much larger area instead of the few square centimeters of the original foot.

One part number for both Africa Twin models

The installation manual lists both the CRF1100L and the CRF1100L ADV, with the same year range starting in 2020. The technical panel lists Honda-type codes CRF1100AL and CRF1100DL2: if you are unsure about your version, compare these references with the registration document.

High-strength aluminum, CNC-machined

LOBOO specifies high-strength aluminum alloy and computer numerical control machining, and identifies CNC machining as the reason for the surface finish and precise hole positioning: these are the holes that must align with the shape of the original foot.

Anti-slip grooves are machined into the sides and bottom of the base to prevent lateral sliding on sloping ground. Enlarging the footprint without adding grip would solve only half the problem: on gravel or wet grass, a broad, smooth surface will slide.

Installs over the original foot

The original sidestand foot does not need to be removed: it remains enclosed between the base and cover, which are secured with three M5×10 screws. No drilling or permanent modifications are required, and the motorcycle can be returned to its original condition in just a few minutes if resold. LOBOO states that it developed the shape using the vehicle’s original data.

What the manual specifies

  • Parts included: base, cover, 3 M5×10 screws, 3 mm hex key, single-dose threadlocker
  • Tightening torque: 5 N·m for all three screws
  • Do not fully tighten immediately: make all adjustments first, then perform the final tightening in sequence
  • Regularly check the fastening screws
  • Eight-language manual included in the package

For this part number, the manufacturer does not specify either the weight or the dimensions: there is no specifications sheet as there is for other part numbers in the range. We prefer to state that rather than estimate.

On an Africa Twin set up for touring, the margin when parked is small: it is a tall, heavy motorcycle that is often loaded, and the side stand works on a small surface. The usual rule applies: the plate reduces the risk of sinking, but does not eliminate it.

For other models, see all sidestand foot plates.

Why choose it
Who is it recommended for

Documents and manufacturer

How does it work, in detail?

One code for both Africa Twins

One code for both Africa Twins

The manual lists the CRF1100L and CRF1100L ADV on the same page, both from 2020 onward: the two versions share the same sidestand foot, and a single plate fits both, with either a manual or DCT transmission.

The technical panel also lists type codes such as Honda CRF1100AL and CRF1100DL2: if you are unsure about your version, compare that reference with your vehicle registration document.

The kickstand foot, extended

The kickstand foot, extended

The foot of the stock kickstand rests on just a few square centimeters. The plate broadens that surface and distributes the motorcycle's weight over a much larger area.

On a tall, heavy motorcycle like the Africa Twin, it's the difference between a stress-free stop and half an hour spent picking it back up.

High-strength aluminum alloy, CNC-machined

High-strength aluminum alloy, CNC-machined

LOBOO states that it uses high-strength aluminum alloy and computer numerical control machining, and identifies CNC as the reason for the surface finish and precise hole positioning.

These are the holes that must align with the original foot shape: even one millimeter out of position is immediately noticeable during installation.

Non-slip grooves on the sides and bottom

Non-slip grooves on the sides and bottom

The grooves are made on the sides and bottom of the base, and prevent lateral slipping.

On gravel, wet grass, or sloped ground, a wide but smooth surface tends to slide: widening the support without providing grip would solve only half the problem.

It mounts on the original foot without drilling.

It mounts on the original foot without drilling.

The original stand foot does not need to be removed. The base goes underneath, the cover on top, and three M5×10 screws clamp them together around the factory foot.

No drilling or permanent modifications: if you sell the motorcycle, it can be returned to its original state in just a few minutes. LOBOO states that it developed the shape using the vehicle’s original data.

In the package: M5×10 screws, a 3 mm Allen key, and threadlocker

In the package: M5×10 screws, a 3 mm Allen key, and threadlocker

The box contains the base, the cover, three M5×10 screws, a 3 mm Allen key, and a single-use packet of threadlocker. Nothing else is needed.

Torque specified in the manual: 5 N·m on all three screws. The manual recommends not fully tightening them immediately, adjusting the position first, and only then tightening them in sequence, with periodic checks of the screws.

On the motorcycle, in real-world conditions

On the motorcycle, in real-world conditions

The manufacturer's photos show the plate mounted and resting on compacted dirt and foliage: the typical ground at a roadside stop during a trip, which is exactly where the original foot gives way.

This also applies to asphalt softened by the summer sun, the most common situation for anyone who never leaves the road.

What the manufacturer doesn’t disclose

What the manufacturer doesn’t disclose

For this code, LOBOO does not publish a specification sheet: neither the weight nor the dimensions are provided. Those details are available for the other codes in the range and we publish them; here, they are not, and we prefer to say so rather than estimate them.

Not even the CRF1000L, the previous generation, is mentioned—neither positively nor negatively. If you have one, contact us before ordering and we’ll verify compatibility with the distributor.

FAQs

For more information, please see our FAQ.

Is it compatible with my Africa Twin?

The LOBOO installation manual lists two motorcycles: Honda CRF1100L and CRF1100L ADV, both from 2020 onward, with an open frame. One code covers both.

The technical panel lists codes such as Honda CRF1100AL and CRF1100DL2; if you have any doubts, compare them with those in the registration document.

Does it work on the previous-generation CRF1000L?

The manufacturer lists only the CRF1100L from 2020 onward, meaning the generation with the 1100 engine. It does not mention this code for the CRF1000L, and we have no other documentation extending its applicability.

If you have a CRF1000L, write to us before ordering with the year and version: we prefer to verify rather than give you a guess.

Is there any difference between the Africa Twin and the Adventure Sports?

No, regarding this plate: the two versions share the same stand foot, and the manual covers them together without distinguishing between mounting options.

This applies to both manual-transmission and DCT versions.

Do I need to remove the foot of the original kickstand?

No. The standard stand stays in place, enclosed between the base and the plate cover, which are tightened with three screws. LOBOO describes it as a non-destructive installation: no drilling and no permanent modifications, and it can be returned to its original state in just a few minutes if the vehicle is resold.

What tool is needed, and what torque should the screws be tightened to?

A 3 mm Allen key, included in the package along with the three M5×10 screws and a single-dose packet of threadlocker. The torque specified in the manual is 5 N·m for all three screws.

The manual instructs you not to tighten fully right away: first adjust the position, then tighten the screws in sequence, and check them periodically.

What’s in the package?

The manual lists five items: the support base, the top cover, three M5×10 screws, a 3 mm Allen key, and a single-use tube of threadlocker. The box also contains the assembly manual in eight languages.

What material is it made of, and how much does it weigh?

High-strength CNC-machined aluminum alloy. The manufacturer does not publish the alloy designation, so we do not report it.

There is no parameter sheet for this code, so neither the weight nor the dimensions are specified, and we do not estimate them. If you need them before ordering, write to us and we will verify them with the distributor.

Do anti-slip grooves really work?

They are needed for something other than sinking: lateral sliding. A wide but smooth plate distributes weight well, but on gravel, wet grass, or sloping concrete, it can slip.

LOBOO adds grooves to the sides and bottom of the base specifically to grip the supporting surface.

Is it really necessary on an Africa Twin?

It is one of the motorcycles where it matters most: tall, heavy, often loaded, and with a side stand that rests on a small surface. On hard-packed dirt, gravel, or grass, the stock foot sinks easily.

It is not just a matter of fairings: lifting a motorcycle of that size off the ground alone, on soft terrain, is anything but easy.

Is it an original LOBOO product?

Yes: we sell exclusively genuine, brand-new LOBOO products in the manufacturer’s original packaging, with the assembly manual included in eight languages.

How is shipping handled, and can I return it?

Tracked shipping throughout Italy, free for orders over 100 euros; in Europe, it is free for orders over 250 euros.

You have 14 days from receipt of the last item in your order to request a return, in accordance with the conditions in the returns and refunds policy. The product must be returned intact and in its original packaging.

Is the product covered by a warranty?

Yes: all LOBOO products sold on Endurrad are covered by the 24-month statutory consumer warranty. In the event of a lack of conformity, we will handle the claim with the manufacturer.
