The LOBOO CJC221 sidestand plate widens the footprint of the side stand, reducing the risk of the motorcycle sinking into mud, gravel, grass, or soft ground. The surface is machined with lateral and underside anti-slip grooves: the plate grips the ground instead of slipping, even on wet surfaces and with the motorcycle loaded.

It is the most widely compatible code in the range. LOBOO's official catalog lists nine models: KTM 690 Enduro R from 2019, 790 Adventure and 790 Adventure R from 2019, 890 Adventure R from 2023, 1050 Adventure, 1190 Adventure, 1290 Adventure through 2021, 1290 Super Adventure R from 2022, and Husqvarna Norden 901 from 2023.

One clarification that can help you avoid a return: the KTM 1290 Super Adventure S from 2022 requires a different code, the CJC251. The R and S do not share the same mounting point.

CNC machining provides precisely positioned holes and a flush fit with the original foot, without the play that can loosen the fastener over time. Installation is reversible and requires no drilling. Increasing the ground contact area reduces the risk of sinking but does not eliminate it.

The difference compared to a stamped plate lies in the precision of the holes: with CNC machining, the coupling to the original foot is flush, without play that over time loosens the fastening.

It is the most broadly compatible code in the range, but the fitment windows are not all open-ended. The manual specifies: 690 Enduro R, 790 Adventure, and 790 Adventure R from 2019; 890 Adventure R from 2023; 1050 and 1190 Adventure with no year limit; 1290 Super Adventure R from 2022; and Norden 901 from 2023.

The exception is the 1290 Adventure, specified up to 2021. It is the only closed window in the list: if you have a newer 1290, check whether it is a Super Adventure before ordering.

The manual lists the 1290 Super Adventure R from 2022 onward. The S version has a different kickstand mount and requires code CJC251, which you can also find in the catalog.

There is one letter’s difference between R and S, and one part that doesn’t fit: it’s worth checking the registration document before ordering.

The sinking depends on the pressure on the ground, not the total weight. The original foot concentrates the entire load on just a few square centimeters: on compacted earth, gravel, or wet grass, it sinks.

The plate distributes the same load over a much larger area. It does not eliminate the risk: assessing the ground on which you park remains your responsibility.

The stock stand is not disassembled: it is enclosed between the base and the upper bracket, secured with three M5×10 screws. No drilling, no welding, and no original components to sacrifice.

To return to the original setup, all you need are three screws — important if the motorcycle is still under warranty or if you plan to resell it.

The side and lower grooves increase grip on wet, uneven surfaces: the plate bites instead of slipping, even with the motorcycle loaded with luggage or a passenger.

CNC machining ensures a clean finish and precise hole placement for a flush fit with the original footpeg that stamped plates cannot provide.

The manual gives a single value for all three M5×10 screws: 4 N·m, lower than the 5 N·m specified for other codes in the range. The package includes a 3 mm Allen key and threadlocker.

The manufacturer asks you not to fully tighten them immediately: first adjust everything, then tighten them in sequence and check them periodically.

The LOBOO mounting plate shows the same kickstand against the same background: without the plate, the tip disappears among the stones; with the plate, it remains supported. It is the typical stop for an Adventure, from a dirt parking area to the roadside.

I have the 1290 Super Adventure S: is that okay?

No. The manual states the 1290 Super Adventure R from 2022 onward, not the S. For the S version, you need code CJC251, which you can find in the catalog. The kickstand mount is different, and the two parts are not interchangeable: if you are unsure about the model designation, check the manual or write to us.

I have a KTM 1290 Adventure: which years does it cover?

The manual specifies the 1290 Adventure UP TO 2021: it is the only closed range in the list, while all the other motorcycles are specified with an open-ended range. If your 1290 is newer, it is most likely a Super Adventure: in that case, check whether it is the R, covered by this code from 2022 onward, or the S, which requires the CJC251.

Is it also compatible with the Husqvarna Norden 901?

Yes. The plate is designed for the KTM Adventure 790 and 890 models and the Husqvarna Norden 901, which share the same chassis platform and side-stand foot.

Does the original kickstand foot need to be removed?

No. The stock footpeg stays in place, enclosed between the base and the upper bracket and secured with three M5×10 screws. No drilling or permanent modification to the motorcycle is required: three screws are all it takes to return it to its original configuration.

What tools are needed, and what’s included in the package?

The manual lists five items: base, bracket, three M5×10 screws, a 3 mm Allen key, and threadlocker. The specified torque is 4 N·m for all three screws, a low value: with M5 screws, it is easily exceeded by hand, so a torque wrench is required.

What are the anti-slip grooves for?

The side and bottom grooves increase grip on the ground: they help the plate bite into wet or uneven surfaces, reducing stand slippage when the motorcycle is loaded with luggage or carrying a passenger.

How much does it weigh, and how big is it?
