Description LOBOO Aluminum Handguard System for Benelli TRK 552X (2024+)

The LOBOO CHS683 are handguards with a high-tensile aluminum alloy body, featuring a dedicated bracket for the Benelli TRK 552X from 2024 onward. The structure forms a cage around the controls: when the bike goes down on a low-speed dirt track, the brake and clutch levers are what remain intact.

They replace the original handguards

On the TRK 552X, the stock handguards must be removed: the CHS683 takes their place using the same mounting points, with no drilling or permanent modifications. The manufacturer itself states this in the technical documentation.

It consists of three parts

A complete handguard requires three components: the motorcycle-specific bracket (CHS683), the shield with deflector (CHP001), and the arch kit with clamps, blocks, and bumpers (CFCK001). The Complete Set on this page contains all three; the other variant is the bracket only, for those who already have the shield and accessories.

The shield and arch kit have their own dedicated page, because they are common to the entire LOBOO handguard range: you can find them among the recommended products below, useful as replacements or for changing only the shield color.

The deflector adjusts to three positions without tools

Above the shield is a height-adjustable deflector extension: raise it to keep your hands protected on the highway and in winter, lower it when less protection is needed, or remove it completely when you want more ventilation off-road.

How they are mounted

Two-point mounting — at the handlebar end and on the clamp — provides rigidity that a single attachment cannot. The sides feature replaceable protective bumpers, which absorb accidental impacts and take scratches instead of the shield.

Features

  • High-tensile aluminum alloy body
  • Adjustable wind deflector with three positions, removable without tools
  • Two-point mounting, with no drilling
  • Replaceable side protective bumpers
  • 306.2 × 126.3 × 200.3 mm per handguard
  • Wear parts can be replaced individually

What you need to know before ordering

  • Installation requires removing the motorcycle’s original handguards
  • The bracket is available only in black. The shield can be selected in black or white with the Complete Set and can later be replaced without changing the bracket
  • LED indicators are not included and appear in some manufacturer images for illustrative purposes only
  • The bracket is specific to a single model: Benelli TRK 552X from 2024 onward
  • LOBOO does not state the weight or an IP rating, and does not publish a manual with tightening torques for this model

Model list, installation, delivery, and warranty details are provided in the product information below.

Why choose it
  • High-strength aluminum alloy body: a cage around the controls. OEM levers cost much more than a handguard.
  • They replace the originals without drilling: the bracket uses the same fixing points as the standard TRK 552X handguards.
  • Three-position deflector: high on the highway and in winter, low in mid-season, removed off-road. No tools required.
  • Two-point fixing: no oscillations at high speeds, unlike single attachments.
  • Modular system: after contact, you change the scratched part, not the entire handguard. And you can switch from black to white shield while keeping the bracket.
Who is it recommended for

Compatible Models

  • Benelli TRK 552X (2024-)

Compatibility refers to the CHS683 bracket. The shields and bumpers on this page are the same as those across the entire LOBOO handguard range and are also suitable for other brackets.

This is the right choice if:

  • You want to replace the original TRK handguards with a double-mount aluminum structure
  • You use your motorcycle all year round and want to change the level of protection with the season
  • You alternate between asphalt and dirt roads, where levers are exposed to rocks, branches, and low-speed falls
  • You do not want to drill or modify the motorcycle
Documents and manufacturer

Assembly

  • Remove the original handguards of the TRK 552X: the CHS683 replaces them.
  • Mount the bracket on the two fixing points, handlebar end and collar, without fully tightening.
  • Screw the shield onto the bracket and mount the bumper pads on the sides.
  • The adjustment or removal of the deflector does not require tools.
  • Once assembled, test the steering at full lock on both sides and check that cables and controls remain free.
  • Recheck the tightening after the first 100-200 km. The manufacturer does not publish the prescribed torques for this model.

Use and maintenance

  • Clean with water and mild soap. Avoid solvents on the transparent deflector.
  • After an impact or fall, check brackets, clamps and pads before getting back on the road.
  • The handguards reduce the exposure of hands and levers, but do not replace gloves and protective clothing.

LOBOO CHS683 aluminum handguards for the Benelli TRK 552X

Aluminum alloy handguards for Benelli TRK 552X

Aluminum alloy handguards for Benelli TRK 552X

High-strength aluminum alloy body, height-adjustable wind deflector, and side impact pads: the CHS683 combines the three things you need on a motorcycle used year-round.

The bracket is designed for the mounting points of the Benelli TRK 552X from 2024 onward.

Lightweight, but protects hands and levers

Lightweight, but protects hands and levers

The high-strength aluminum alloy body keeps weight down without compromising protection: the handguard acts as a barrier between the brake and clutch levers and whatever comes from outside, whether a branch, a stone, or the asphalt in a minor slide.

LOBOO states weight reduction as a material characteristic but does not publish the figure.

They replace the original handguards

They replace the original handguards

On the TRK 552X, the stock handguards must be removed: the CHS683 replaces them using the same mounting points, with no drilling required. The two photos above show the original handguards, so you can identify what to remove.

Below, the manufacturer lists the three components required for a complete set: bracket, shield, and bumpers. The Complete Set on this page includes all three.

Two-point mounting and bumper pads

Two-point mounting and bumper pads

The handguard attaches at two points: at the end of the handlebar and at the clamp. The structure forms a triangle and stops rotating or vibrating, which is the typical flaw of handguards with a single mounting point.

There are shock-absorbing pads on the sides, one on each side: they absorb accidental impacts, such as those that can hit from the side when parking or riding along a narrow trail.

Three-position wind deflector

Three-position wind deflector

The transparent extension above the windshield can be adjusted to two heights and can also be removed completely. Use the high position in winter and on the highway, when you want maximum protection; the low position when you need less; remove it in summer or off-road, for a cleaner profile.

Adjusts without tools

Adjusts without tools

The deflector attachment features a quick-release system: adjust the height or remove the extension without wrenches or screwdrivers.

It’s the difference between an adjustment you actually make when the weather changes and one you postpone because it would require taking half the handlebar apart.

Replace the part, not the handguard.

Replace the part, not the handguard.

Shield, deflector, clamps, bracket, and pads are separate components. After contact or a fall, you only replace the damaged part instead of throwing away an entire handguard because the shield got scratched.

It is also a way to switch from the black shield to the white one while keeping the same bracket.

Dimensions: 306.2 × 126.3 × 200.3 mm

Dimensions: 306.2 × 126.3 × 200.3 mm

Each handguard measures 306.2 mm in length, with a shield height of 126.3 mm and a lateral extension of 200.3 mm. Model CHS683, aluminum alloy body, black or white shield.

The dimensions are measured manually by the manufacturer and should be read with a tolerance of a few millimeters. The weight is not specified.

The profile follows the line of the handlebar without looking like an added-on piece. The shield covers the hand past the knuckles, which is where cold wind does the most damage on long rides.

The manufacturer's photos also show mirrors, LED turn signals, an engine guard, and LOBOO pannier racks; these are not included in this supply.

Riding position on the motorcycle

If you have installed a larger windshield or aftermarket mirrors, test the steering at full lock on both sides after installation.

FAQs

For more information, please see our FAQ.

What do I need to buy to get a complete handguard?

The Complete Set variant: it already contains the three components that LOBOO indicates as necessary, namely the CHS683 bracket specific to the TRK 552X, the CHP001 shield with deflector, and the CFCK001 buffer kit. Just choose the shield color, black or white.

The other variants are the individual parts: they are intended as replacements or if you want to change only the shield color while keeping the bracket you already have.

Do I need to remove the original handguards?

Yes. On the TRK 552X, the CHS683 replaces the original handguards: remove them, and attach the new bracket to the same mounting points. No drilling or modifications are needed, and if you ever want to revert, simply reinstall the original handguards.

The manufacturer itself states this in the technical panels, with photos of the original handguards to help identify them before starting.

Which motorcycles do they fit?

The CHS683 bracket is specifically for the Benelli TRK 552X from 2024 onward, and it is the only model declared by the manufacturer.

The shield and bumpers, however, are components common to the entire LOBOO handguard range: if you already have a bracket on another motorcycle, those will work just as well.

Are the arrows included?

No. Some manufacturer images show LED turn signals, but they are a separate accessory and are not included in the package. If you're interested, contact us: we'll check together which version is compatible with your motorcycle.

How does the adjustable deflector work?

The transparent extension above the shield adjusts to two heights and can also be removed completely. Use the high position in winter and on the highway, when you need more protection; the low position when you want more air on your hands; remove it in summer or off-road. It can be changed in one minute without tools.

Do you need to drill into or modify the motorcycle?

No. The bracket uses the existing mounting points—the ones for the original handguards: the handlebar end and the collar near the controls. No drilling or permanent modifications.

Why two-point mounting?

Because a handguard attached only at the end of the handlebar twists and vibrates. With the second mount on the clamp, the structure becomes a triangle: it stays steady at highway speeds and better withstands side impacts. That’s the difference between a cosmetic handguard and one that truly protects the levers.

Do they provide protection in the event of a fall?

The aluminum-alloy body and lateral impact pads are designed to absorb accidental impacts and light sliding contact, keeping the levers away from direct contact with the ground. No handguard can guarantee lever integrity in a serious crash; the practical advantage here is that after an impact, you replace only the damaged individual part rather than the entire handguard.

Is assembly easy for everyone?

Yes, with basic tools: remove the original handguards, position the bracket over the two mounting points, and tighten it. The deflector can be adjusted without tools.

For this model, LOBOO does not publish the tightening torques: tighten carefully and check again after the first 100–200 km. If you are not familiar with handlebar controls, have a workshop help you.

What size are they?

Each handguard measures 306.2 mm in length, 126.3 mm in shield height, and 200.3 mm in lateral extension. These dimensions were measured manually by the manufacturer, so there may be a tolerance of a few millimeters. LOBOO does not state the weight.

Can I change the shield color later?

Yes. The CHP001 shield is a separate component and is available on this same page in black or white. It screws off the bracket and can be replaced without touching the rest of the assembly. It is also the replacement part to order if the shield gets scratched after a fall.

Do they interfere with windshields or mirrors?

On the TRK 552X, the dimensions are as specified by the manufacturer, and no interference has been reported. If you have installed a larger windshield or aftermarket mirrors, after installation turn the handlebars fully to both sides and check that nothing makes contact: it only takes ten seconds and is always worth doing.

How do you clean them?

Water and mild soap, using a soft cloth. On the transparent deflector, avoid solvents and harsh products, which can cloud the plastic, and do not use dry cloths on dusty surfaces because they can scratch them. After the first few outings, check the tightness of the clamps again.
