Description LOBOO Handlebar Riser for KTM Adventure and Husqvarna | 19 mm Rise · Black or Silver

Pair of LOBOO handlebar risers CJG221BK that raise the grip position by 19 mm. The measurement is not arbitrary: LOBOO chose it to stay within the slack of the original cables, providing greater comfort without having to replace the brake lines or clutch cables.

This is the solution for riders who ride standing on the foot pegs and find themselves leaning forward to reach the handlebar, as well as for those who feel strain in their wrists, shoulders, and back after several hours in the saddle.

The body is made from high-strength aluminum alloy with CNC machining, in a black finish. LOBOO states that installation is non-destructive: it mounts to the original fastening points, with no drilling, cutting, or permanent modifications.

Compatible with KTM 390 Adventure, 690 Enduro R, 790 Adventure and Adventure R, 890 Adventure and Adventure R, 1050, 1090 and 1190 Adventure, 1290 Super Adventure R and S and with Husqvarna Norden 901 and FE 350. The manufacturer specifies universal compatibility with 28 mm handlebars.

Check after installation: LOBOO specifies that cable extensions are not required on most models, but not all. Turn the handlebars fully to both sides and check that the cables, brake lines, and clutch lines are not pulled tight or rubbing.

Why choose it
Who is it recommended for

Two blocks that straighten the torso

Two blocks that straighten the torso

On KTM Adventure and Husqvarna motorcycles, the stock handlebar is designed for a seated riding position. Riders who frequently stand on the foot pegs find themselves leaning forward, which reduces control and tires their arms before their legs.

Risers are two aluminum blocks positioned between the steering yoke and the handlebar clamps. They do not replace anything; they move the grip position to where the arms can reach it at a more natural angle.

Nineteen millimeters, a carefully chosen size

Nineteen millimeters, a carefully chosen size

LOBOO specifies a nineteen-millimeter rise. That is just under two centimeters, and the modest height is intentional: it is enough to change the angle of your shoulders and wrists without moving the controls into an unnatural position or putting tension on the cable routing.

On a road enduro or a large-displacement adventure bike, those are precisely the millimeters you need when you stand on the pegs over rough terrain.

High-strength aluminum, CNC-machined

High-strength aluminum, CNC-machined

The riser supports the handlebar and, when riding standing up, much of the rider’s upper-body weight: it is a load-bearing component, not a spacer. LOBOO states that it is made from high-strength aluminum alloy using CNC machining, with high machining precision.

The alloy designation is not disclosed by the manufacturer, and we prefer not to specify one that no source confirms.

It mounts without touching the motorcycle’s structure

It mounts without touching the motorcycle’s structure

LOBOO talks about non-destructive installation: the risers fit onto the existing mounting points, with no drilling, cutting, or modifications to the steering plate.

It also means you can reverse the change whenever you want: reinstall the stock clamps and the motorcycle is back to its original state. This matters if it’s leased or you’re thinking of reselling it.

How do they look when assembled?

How do they look when assembled?

On the 790 Adventure, the result is clear: the handlebar rises while remaining parallel, the controls stay in the same position relative to your hands, and the added bulk is minimal.

LOBOO makes the same part in two finishes, black and silver. This is the black version, which blends into the dark components of KTM Adventure and Husqvarna motorcycles.

Eleven models, one code

Eleven models, one code

The same riser fits the KTM 390 Adventure, 690 Enduro R, 790 Adventure and Adventure R, 890 Adventure and Adventure R, 1050, 1090 and 1190 Adventure, 1290 Super Adventure R and S, as well as the Husqvarna Norden 901 and FE 350.

This is possible because these bikes share 28 mm handlebars and the same clamp spacing: LOBOO describes it as universal compatibility for that size.

If your model isn't listed, contact us before ordering: we'll check it together instead of guessing.

The handlebars remain yours

The handlebars remain yours

Risers don’t replace the handlebar: they take the place of the clamps and reposition the one you already have. The controls, grips, bar-end weights, and handguards stay where they are, so there’s no need to redo the wiring.

The seat is machined to match the original tube size, so clamping distributes pressure across the entire contact surface instead of concentrating it at a single point.

The check to perform before setting off again

The check to perform before setting off again

Nineteen millimeters is a modest rise, and the stock cable slack is usually sufficient, but it should still be checked: with the motorcycle stationary, turn the handlebars to full lock on both sides and inspect the cables, brake lines, and clutch line.

Nothing should become taut, bind, or rub. This is the most important check when installing a riser, and it should be repeated along with the tightening after the first one or two hundred kilometers.

FAQs

Do they fit my motorcycle? The complete list

The official LOBOO page lists the KTM 390 Adventure, 690 Enduro, 790 Adventure and Adventure R, 890 Adventure and Adventure R, 1050, 1090 and 1190 Adventure, 1290 Super Adventure R and S, and Husqvarna Norden 901 and FE 350.

The manufacturer specifies universal compatibility with 28 mm handlebars. Our distributor’s price list does not include the 390 Adventure: if you have that model, write to us before ordering and we will check it together.

How much does the handlebar rise?

Nineteen millimeters, according to the LOBOO technical panel. It is a fixed measurement: there are no variants with different risers, nor any adjustments after installation.

This part only raises the handlebars; it does not move them toward the rider.

Can you really feel nineteen millimeters?

They may sound small, but they land in exactly the right spot: they change the angle at which your arms reach the grips, and that is the angle that determines how much your shoulders close in.

If you’re looking for a more substantial rise for a much more upright position, this isn’t the right part: the rise is deliberately modest so as not to affect the controls and wiring.

Do I need to lengthen the cables, brake lines, or clutch lines?

LOBOO chose 19 mm for precisely this reason: it stays within the available slack of the original cables, providing greater comfort without requiring longer brake lines or extensions.

However, the manufacturer specifies that this applies to most models, not all. With the motorcycle stationary, turn the handlebars fully to both sides and check that nothing pulls, catches, or rubs: if anything is under tension, the routing must be revised before riding again.

What’s included in the package? Is the hardware included?

The two risers come in the box. LOBOO does not publish a detailed parts list for this code, and we prefer to tell you that rather than list undocumented components.

For this type of installation, the motorcycle’s original hardware is normally reused. If you would like confirmation before ordering, write to us and we will ask the distributor.

Is the price for one or for the pair?

For the pair: you receive both risers, which is everything needed for the entire handlebar.

Black or silver: what’s the difference?

Aesthetic only: the riser is the same; only the finish differs. The black blends in with the dark components of KTM Adventure and Husqvarna bikes, while the silver matches the tone of the exposed triple clamps.

Both versions cost the same: choose the color from the selector above.

Do I need a mechanic, or can I install them myself?

It’s within reach of anyone with a torque wrench and basic mechanical skills: remove the handlebar’s upper clamps, insert the risers, and tighten everything back up.

A torque wrench is genuinely necessary because these are the bolts securing the handlebar. LOBOO does not publish torque values for this part number, so follow those specified by the motorcycle manufacturer. Without the proper tool, it’s best to use a workshop.

With the risers installed, does the tank bag still fit?

Yes: this riser only raises the handlebar; it does not move it back toward the tank, so the available space is not reduced.

If you use a handlebar-mounted navigation holder, after installation check that it does not contact the fairing or windshield when the handlebars are turned fully.

Does the original handlebar remain the same?

Yes. The risers do not replace the handlebar: they take the place of the clamps and reposition the one you already have. The controls, grips, bar ends, and handguards remain where they are.

Does it change anything about the ride besides comfort?

Standing on the footpegs gives you more leverage on the handlebars, so your body doesn’t have to lean forward: on dirt roads, that’s the difference between working with the bike and chasing it. During slow maneuvers, the sense of control is more immediate.

This is not a modification to the chassis: the geometry, suspension, and braking system remain as original.

How much do they weigh?

LOBOO does not publish the weight for this code, and we prefer to tell you that rather than estimate it. In any case, these are two aluminum blocks just a few centimeters long: the increase compared with the original clamps is on the order of a few dozen grams.

Can I return to the original setup?

Yes. LOBOO states that the installation is non-destructive: it uses the existing mounting points, with no drilling or permanent modifications. The original clamps are reinstalled, and the motorcycle returns to its original condition.
