Six 8 W Cree LEDs deliver 5,100 lumens and a 305-meter range in a rectangular housing that is 76 mm high and 51 mm deep: in its power class, it is one of the lowest-profile auxiliary lights on the market. This shape allows it to fit where a 114 mm square housing would protrude too far.

Oversized TIR optics distribute light better than a traditional reflector: the hybrid beam reaches far while remaining 62 meters wide. With the clear lens version, the beam is ECE R149 approved as a main or auxiliary high beam.

DrySeal sealing rated IP68 and IP69K, 4 mm painted steel brackets, vibration resistance of 21 grms, and a polycarbonate lens with UV-resistant coating. Three-wire DT DataDim connector, plug and play with DENALI wiring harnesses, DialDim, and CANsmart.

Sold individually. The beam color — white, amber, or selective yellow — is chosen at purchase: DL-series lenses are not interchangeable.

Who is it recommended for

Alle moto di media e grossa cilindrata che vogliono un faretto principale potente senza il volume di un DL9. La forma rettangolare bassa aiuta soprattutto sui montaggi vicino al faro o sulle barre paramotore, dove la profondità conta.

Se cerchi il massimo assoluto della serie, il DL9 fa il 50% di luce in più. Se la moto è piccola o lo spazio è minimo, guarda il DL4 o il DL2.

Six Cree LEDs driven at 8 W and oversized TIR optics: 5,100 lumens and a hybrid beam that reaches 305 meters while remaining 62 meters wide. In pairs, the range increases to 406 meters and the width to 82 meters, with a total draw of 8 A.

The hybrid beam is ECE R149 certified for road use as a main or supplementary high beam in the European Union. Compliance applies only to the white version: amber and selective yellow are intended for fog, dust, and off-road use.

Is the DL6 or the DL9 better?

The DL9 provides 50% more light and reaches farther, but it is a 114 mm square that is bulky on many motorcycles. The DL6 is rectangular, only 76 mm high, and fits well on medium- and large-displacement motorcycles without protruding. If space on the motorcycle is limited, the DL6 is the sensible choice.

Is the yellow or amber lens approved?

No. ECE R149 approval as a high beam applies only to the version with a clear lens. Amber and selective yellow are not compliant for road use as high beams; they are chosen for fog, dust, and off-road use. The color is selected at purchase; the lenses in the DL series are not interchangeable.

What is the difference between the DL series and the D series?

The DL series is the newest and most affordable line: one-piece TIR optics and a robotically sealed housing reduce production costs without compromising the LED or optics. It does not have the interchangeable lenses of the D series—the beam color is selected at purchase—but in return it offers more lumens per euro and an IP68/IP69K rating instead of IP67.

Can I assemble just one?

Yes, this product is sold individually. However, for road use, auxiliary headlights must be mounted in even numbers and symmetrically with respect to the motorcycle’s centerline: check what is required by the road traffic regulations of the country where you ride.

Premium upgrade on my BMW GS

I installed the JADO S6 on my BMW GS (non-"dedicated" version), and although I don't use the BMW base, the display and features are still top notch.
