Four 8 W Cree LEDs deliver 3,400 lumens and a 250-meter range in a square housing measuring 76 mm per side and weighing 545 grams. This is the most versatile light in the DL series: powerful enough to serve as the main lighting on a mid-sized motorcycle, yet compact enough to mount low on large adventure bikes.

Oversized TIR optics produce a hybrid beam that reaches far while remaining 48 meters wide, and power consumption stays low: 2.7 A per light. With the clear lens, the beam is ECE R149 approved as a main or auxiliary high beam.

DrySeal sealing with IP68 and IP69K ratings, 4 mm painted steel brackets, vibration resistance of 21 grms, and a polycarbonate lens with UV-resistant coating. Three-wire DT DataDim connector, plug and play with DENALI wiring harnesses, DialDim, and CANsmart.

Sold individually. Choose the beam color — white, amber, or selective yellow — when purchasing: the lenses in the DL series are not interchangeable.

Who is it recommended for

Due usi tipici: faretto principale su moto di piccola e media cilindrata, oppure faretto aggiuntivo montato in basso su un'adventure grande che ha già una coppia in alto. Il peso contenuto aiuta nei montaggi in sbalzo.

Se lo spazio sulla moto non manca e vuoi più luce, il DL6 fa il 50% in più con lo stesso profilo basso. Se serve solo essere visti, il DL2 costa meno.

Square body measuring 76 mm per side, 51 mm deep, and weighing 545 grams. It is small enough to serve as the main auxiliary light on a midsize motorcycle, and compact enough to fit beneath the fender of a large adventure bike, where larger lights won’t fit.

Four Cree LEDs driven at 8 W behind oversized TIR optics: the hybrid beam reaches 250 meters while remaining 48 meters wide. Used as a pair, they reach 333 meters and 64 meters wide, with a total draw of just 5.4 A.

The hybrid beam is ECE R149 certified for road use as a main or supplementary high beam in the European Union. Compliance applies only to the white version: amber and selective yellow are intended for fog, dust, and off-road use.

What’s the difference between DL4 and DL6?

The DL6 produces 50% more light and reaches 305 meters compared with 250, but it is wider: 114 mm compared with 76. The DL4 is square and compact, so it works well as the main auxiliary light on small and mid-sized motorcycles and as a lower additional light on large adventure bikes. If you have the space, the DL6 delivers more.

Can it be mounted underneath, on the fender, or on the guards?

Yes, it is one of the uses for which DENALI recommends it: weighing 545 grams and measuring 76 mm per side, it is also suitable for low mounts on large-displacement adventure bikes, where an additional beam near the wheel is needed without adding unsprung mass.

Is the yellow or amber lens approved?

No. ECE R149 approval as a high beam applies only to the version with a clear lens. Amber and selective yellow are not compliant for road use as high beams; they are chosen for fog, dust, and off-road use. The color is selected at purchase; the lenses in the DL series are not interchangeable.

What is the difference between the DL series and the D series?

The DL series is the newest and most affordable line: one-piece TIR optics and a robotically sealed housing reduce production costs without compromising the LED or optics. It does not have the interchangeable lenses of the D series—the beam color is selected at purchase—but in return it offers more lumens per euro and an IP68/IP69K rating instead of IP67.

Premium upgrade on my BMW GS

I installed the JADO S6 on my BMW GS (non-"dedicated" version), and although I don't use the BMW base, the display and features are still top notch.
