The most powerful light in the DL series: nine 8 W Cree LEDs, 7,650 lumens, and 421 meters of range from a single housing. The oversized TIR optics distribute light better than a traditional reflector, resulting in a hybrid beam that reaches far while remaining wide.

The hybrid beam is ECE R149 approved for road use as a main or auxiliary high beam. The certification applies to the version with the clear lens: amber and selective yellow are chosen for fog, dust, and off-road use.

Heavy-duty construction: 4 mm painted steel brackets, 21 grms of vibration resistance, polycarbonate lens with UV-resistant coating, and DrySeal sealing rated IP68 and IP69K. Three-wire DataDim DT connector, plug and play with all DENALI wiring harnesses and controllers.

Sold individually. The 114 mm square housing suits large-displacement adventure bikes; on mid-size motorcycles, it looks disproportionate.

Who is it recommended for

Alle adventure di grossa cilindrata, dove un corpo da 114 mm sta bene e serve il massimo della luce. È anche la scelta di chi vuole prestazioni da top di gamma senza pagare il D7 PRO.

Su moto medie e piccole è sproporzionato: guarda il DL4 o il DL2. E se ti servono lenti intercambiabili per cambiare colore del fascio dopo l'acquisto, quella è una caratteristica della serie D, non della DL.

Nine top-of-the-range Cree LEDs, each driven at 8 W, sit behind TIR optics that distribute light better than a traditional reflector. The result is a hybrid beam that reaches far while remaining wide: 560 meters of range and 93 meters of width with a pair installed.

The hybrid light beam is ECE R149 certified: it can be used on roads in the European Union as a primary or auxiliary high beam. However, please note: compliance applies only to the white lens. The amber and selective yellow versions are not approved as road-legal high beams.

4 mm powder-coated steel brackets and a robust heat sink provide 21 grms vibration resistance; the polycarbonate lens has a UV-resistant coating. DrySeal sealing with IP68 and IP69K ratings: immersion and high-pressure spray.

Is the yellow or amber lens approved?

No. ECE R149 approval as a high beam applies only to the version with a clear lens. The amber and selective yellow versions are not compliant for road use as high beams; they are chosen for fog, dust, and off-road driving, or for daytime visibility.

Does the DL9 fit all motorcycles?

It is the largest in the range: a square body measuring 114 mm per side and weighing 1 kg per spotlight. It suits large-displacement adventure bikes, but looks disproportionate on medium and small motorcycles and may not fit. In that case, take a look at the DL4 or DL2.

What is the difference between the DL series and the D series?

The DL series is the newest and most affordable line: one-piece TIR optics and a robotically sealed housing reduce production costs without compromising the LED or optics. It does not have the interchangeable lenses of the D series—the beam color is selected at purchase—but in return it offers more lumens per euro and an IP68/IP69K rating instead of IP67.

Can I assemble just one?

Yes, this product is sold individually. However, for road use, auxiliary headlights must be mounted in even numbers and symmetrically with respect to the motorcycle’s centerline: check what is required by the road traffic regulations of the country where you ride.

Premium upgrade on my BMW GS

I installed the JADO S6 on my BMW GS (non-"dedicated" version), and although I don't use the BMW base, the display and features are still top notch.
