Description LOBOO CPQ131 Exhaust Deflector for BMW R 1300 GS and GS Adventure
The exhaust of the BMW R 1300 GS blows hot gases sideways, precisely where the luggage rests. On soft bags, the heat softens straps and fabrics; on aluminum cases, it leaves soot deposits and darkens the finish.
The LOBOO CPQ131 deflector attaches to the original exhaust and diverts the flow downward and backward, away from the luggage.
On some versions, it's not an accessory, it's a requirement
LOBOO documentation indicates that on the R 1300 GS and GS Adventure with short exhaust, installing the pannier racks requires the additional purchase of this deflector for correct mounting.
If you have that version and are considering side racks or cases, this part goes in the same order.

I installed the JADO S6 on my BMW GS (non-"dedicated" version), and although I don't use the BMW base, the display and features are still top notch.
