304 stainless steel, Ø 25 mm tube with a 2 mm wall, weight 2.268 kg, matte sandblasted and electropolished finish, compatible with the BMW R1250GS Adventure from 2019. This is the official specification panel, reproduced without additions: anything the manufacturer does not state is listed among the specifications as “not specified.”

The package contains both upper bars with the triangular reinforcement brackets already welded on, plus the fastening hardware specified by the manufacturer. It is not a single piece to be paired with a second purchase: the protection for the tank area is complete on both sides.

LOBOO states that it developed the mounting system based on the vehicle’s original data: the bar attaches to the existing frame mounting points, without cutting, drilling, or modifications. Once removed, the motorcycle returns exactly to its original condition, which matters when reselling an Adventure.

On a bar designed to take hits from stones, the difference becomes apparent over time: here, the material is the same beneath and above the surface, so a chip remains merely a cosmetic mark.

The bar features a mounting point for auxiliary lights, with through-bushings instead of universal clamps that tighten around the tube and tend to rotate. LOBOO explicitly states that the bracket and spotlight must be purchased separately: the dedicated bracket is item CWJ082.

The bar follows the profile of the tank and stops before the hands, so it does not interfere with riding or access to the controls. The matte silver complements the aluminum parts of the Adventure without clashing with the dark color schemes.

The triangular brace between the tube and the mounting point is the part that actually does the work in a crash: it distributes the load instead of concentrating it on a single weld. It is also the detail that distinguishes a bar designed for the model from a universal adaptation.

The two bars work symmetrically around the tank and connect to the front structure. LOBOO specifies that the spotlights visible in the presentation images are mounted for demonstration purposes and are not included in the package.

A lower engine guard protects the cylinder heads and crankcase, but stops short. The CHG082 extends upward to cover the fuel tank, side panel, and upper section: it is the missing half of the protection for those who already have the lower bar, and LOBOO designed the two to work together.

The high, rearward mounting position keeps the spotlights out of the path of flying stones and above the fender line, where they illuminate without dazzling your own front end. Spotlights and brackets are sold separately.

The bar operates in the tank area, so the most likely interference concerns tank bags, navigation-mount brackets, and already-installed headlights. LOBOO does not publish a list of compatible accessories: if you already have accessories installed, write to us before ordering and we will assess it together.

It’s when the Adventure is fully loaded that it becomes difficult to support during stationary maneuvers, and the kickstand sinking into hard-packed ground does the rest. At that point, protection for the upper section stops being a cosmetic accessory.

The CHG082 is the upper bar of a setup that includes lower protection, panniers, and soft luggage. If you’re building your touring Adventure, this is the part that protects the motorcycle’s most expensive component.

Gravel roads, stops on uneven ground, and long trips: that's where a low-speed fall becomes likely and where the cost of a scratched tank far exceeds that of the protection. 2.268 kg so you don't have to worry about it.
