Description DialDim light controller with wiring harness for Harley Pan America 1250

Code DNLWHS22600K — DENALI code DNL.WHS.22600

The DialDim controller with wiring designed for the Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250: it plugs into the motorcycle's connectors without splicing and puts auxiliary light adjustment on a handlebar switch.

The knob with a multicolor illuminated ring turns on, turns off, and independently adjusts two groups of three-wire lights from a single wiring harness. The ring shows the current setting.

Kit includes: 1× universal DialDim controller (DNLWHS20500), 1× DialDim wiring harness for Pan America 1250 (DNLWHS21500).

Auxiliary lights not included: this is the control system.

Stated compatibility: Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250.

Why choose it

Who is it recommended for

How does it work, in detail?

  • The rotary dial control for the Pan America spotlights.
Two light groups, one wiring harness

Two light groups, one wiring harness

The DialDim turns two separate groups of three-wire lights on and off and adjusts their brightness from a single wiring harness. On the Pan America, where there is room for auxiliary lights both high and low, being able to control them separately changes how you ride the motorcycle at night.

A switch you can read in the dark

A switch you can read in the dark

The multicolor light ring shows the setting in progress: at night and while wearing gloves, you don't have to guess where you are in the adjustment. The control mounts on the handlebar in a position you choose.

This is what sets the kit apart from the universal DialDim: the DNLWHS21500 wiring harness plugs into the Pan America 1250 connectors, with no splicing or tester required. The installation remains reversible if you sell the motorcycle one day.

FAQs

For more information, see our FAQ of frequently asked questions.

Are the spotlights included?

No. This is the control system: the DialDim and the specific wiring harness for your motorcycle. The auxiliary lights must be selected separately, and they must have three wires with DataDim technology to use the intensity adjustment.

Doesn't the Pan America also have CANsmart?

Yes, for the Pan America 1250, there is also the CANsmart DNLWHS23800 controller, which places the auxiliary lights under the motorcycle's original controls. The DialDim is the alternative: it costs less, adds a handlebar switch, and continuously adjusts the brightness. Choose based on how you prefer to control them.

Does it work with any spotlight?

Intensity adjustment works with three-wire auxiliary lights, specifically those using DataDim technology. With two-wire spotlights, you can still turn them on and off, but you can't adjust their intensity: in that case, DialDim only delivers part of what it can do.
