Description LOBOO BWB waterproof PVC motorcycle rear bag – 40, 50, 66 and 90 litres

The LOBOO BWB series rear bag is a dry duffel bag made of IPX6 certified eco-friendly PVC for the rear of the motorcycle, available in four capacities—40, 50, 66 and 90 liters—and four colors.

IPX6: water coming from the side

IPX6 certification means resistance to powerful water jets from any direction. This is the level truly needed on a motorcycle, where water doesn't fall from above but comes from the side at 130 km/h, sprayed by the wheels of vehicles you overtake.

Magnetic closure

Traditional roll-top bags require rolling, aligning, and clipping: with wet gloves, this is an annoying operation. Here, an integrated magnetic strip holds the roll in place by itself, and there's no hook that can get snagged.

The valve that compacts the load

A closed waterproof bag retains air: it stays inflated, and the straps cannot tighten it. The side release valve lets air out after closure, so the load compacts and remains stable even on uneven surfaces.

Details that matter on a trip

  • Internal dry/wet pocket — keeps damp items separate from the rest
  • Reflective strips on all four sides — a 90-liter bag covers a good portion of the rear profile, including the headlight
  • ID card window — for name and emergency contact
  • Detachable shoulder strap — to carry it on your shoulder when you dismount

Universal mounting

The quick-release straps anchor to the seat, luggage rack, subframe, or top case plate: no dedicated support or specific motorcycle is needed.

Which capacity: 40 and 50 liters for a weekend, 66 liters for a week-long trip, 90 liters if you're camping. Above 66 liters, check the maximum load allowed on the rear rack: that limit will be reached first.

Why choose it
  • IPX6 Waterproof Rating: withstands powerful water jets from all directions, not just rain falling from above.
  • Magnetic roll-top closure: closes with one hand, no hooks to snag.
  • Air release valve: lets air out after closing, so the load compacts and stays put.
  • Wet/dry separation: dedicated internal pocket for damp items.
  • Reflective strips on all four sides: rear and side visibility in the dark.
  • Eco-friendly and odourless PVC: abrasion and tear-resistant.
Who is it recommended for

How to choose the capacity

  • 40 and 50 liters: weekend trips, compact size, unchanged handling.
  • 66 liters: one-week trip.
  • 90 liters: camping, with tent and sleeping bag.

Four colors available: Yellow, Black, Green, and Military Green. Yellow and light green add daytime visibility, in addition to reflective strips.

Documents and manufacturer

Assembly and Loading

  • Check the maximum permissible load on your motorcycle's rear rack: for larger capacities, that limit is what matters, not the bag's capacity.
  • Roll the edge at least three times before fastening the buckles: the number of rolls determines the watertightness.
  • Open the bleed valve after closing to compress the load.
  • Ensure the bag does not cover the license plate and taillights or obstruct the passenger.
  • Recheck the tension of the straps after the first few kilometers.

How does it work, in detail?

The patented magnetic closure

The patented magnetic closure

Traditional roll-top bags fasten with a clip buckle: you have to roll, align, and clip it shut, and with wet gloves, it becomes a frustrating task.

Here, an integrated magnetic strip holds the roll in place on its own. Close it with one hand, and there’s no buckle to snag on your clothes.

The valve that makes the difference under load

The valve that makes the difference under load

A waterproof bag closed while full of air stays puffy and unstable, and the straps cannot really tighten it.

The side release valve lets air out after closing: the load compacts and stays secure even on rough terrain.

Dry and wet, separated

Dry and wet, separated

A dedicated internal pocket keeps wet items separate from the rest of your luggage: useful after rain, after a day at the beach, or simply for boots.

On the outside, a card-holder window for your name and emergency contact.

Reflective on all four sides

Reflective on all four sides

A 90-liter rear bag covers much of the motorcycle’s profile when viewed from behind, including the taillight.

Reflective strips on all four sides provide side and rear visibility after dark.

It fits on any rear wheel.

The quick-release straps attach to the seat, luggage rack, subframe, or top-case plate: no dedicated mount or specific motorcycle is required.

It also comes with a detachable shoulder strap, so you can carry it over your shoulder when you get off the motorcycle.

Which capacity should you choose

Which capacity should you choose

40 and 50 liters are enough for a weekend and do not affect handling. 66 liters is the travel size for a week. 90 liters is for campers carrying a tent and sleeping bag.

Above 66 liters, check the maximum permitted rear load: the subframe’s limit is reached before the bag’s.

FAQs

For more information, please see our FAQ.

Do you need a mount or a rack to install it?

No. The included quick-release straps attach to the seat, luggage rack, rear subframe, or top-case plate. The bag is not tied to a specific motorcycle model: it mounts on any rear end.

Which capacity should I choose?

40–50 litres for a weekend, 66 litres for a week-long trip, and 90 litres if you’re camping and carrying a tent and sleeping bag. Above 66 litres, check the maximum permitted load on your motorcycle’s rear rack: that limit is what matters, not the bag’s capacity.

Is it truly waterproof in heavy rain?

Yes: the PVC fabric is IPX6-certified, meaning it can withstand powerful water jets from any direction. That’s the level you really need on a motorcycle, where water doesn’t fall from above but hits from the side at 130 km/h.

For maximum watertightness, roll the edge at least three times before fastening the buckles: it’s the number of rolls, not the force, that determines the seal.

Does it remain stable on the highway at high speeds?

Yes, under two conditions. Open the bleed valve after closing it to release the air: an inflated bag remains unstable even with the straps tightened. Then pull the quick-release straps at every available anchor point, not just two. Once compacted, the bag won’t sway or catch the crosswind.

Can I install it together with a top case and side panniers?

Yes, and it’s the most common use: it rests on the passenger seat or on top of the top case, attaching to the side frames or luggage rack. However, remember that the rear subframe’s maximum load is the total combined load, including the top case, bag, and contents of both.

What is included in the package?

The bag, quick-release straps for attaching it to the motorcycle, and a detachable shoulder strap for carrying it when you get off. No need to buy anything else: no rack, plate, or adapter.

How is it cleaned and stored?

Water and mild soap with a soft cloth: PVC requires nothing else. Avoid solvents and abrasive brushes, which can dull the reflective strips.

Before storing it, dry it thoroughly, including the inside, and leave it rolled up without compressing it: sharp folds kept for months can mark the material.

Is it also suitable for use off the motorcycle as a travel bag?

Yes. The included detachable shoulder strap turns it into a shoulder duffel bag, and the roll-top design is the same as that of dry bags used for boating or rafting. Many people also use it at the gym or as checked luggage, precisely because it keeps out water and dust.
