Regarding the LOBOO Wanderer series panniers: the manufacturer presents it as an optional accessory for that range and documents only that installation. You therefore need to already have the Wanderer panniers, because the pocket attaches to their limiting straps.

In two steps documented by the manufacturer. First: pass the strap fastener through the limit strap of the side bag. Second: pass it through the limit strap of the pocket. Done—no tools or modifications to the bag required.

The manufacturer does not document this, and we prefer not to promise it. The attachment is designed for the limit straps of Wanderer bags; it may or may not work with another system, depending on how the webbing is made. If you have a different setup, write to us describing it, and we’ll assess it together before purchase.

It is not used to mount the pouch on the motorcycle, as one might think; it is used to add something on top of the pouch. You can attach a bottle holder, a small pouch, or an accessory with MOLLE webbing to it. It is the next level of modularity, not the mounting system.

Remember that the product is sold individually, so you need to order two units to get two. With a single pocket, it’s best to mount it on the side you dismount from, so you can reach it without walking around the motorcycle.

The pocket is 12 centimetres thick and attaches to the outer side of the pannier, so those 12 centimetres are added on each side where you mount it. On a motorcycle that is already wide because of its panniers, this is an increase you can feel in traffic and tight spaces: it is worth measuring the overall width before fitting two of them.

The manufacturer specifies three different fabrics, all made of TPU: matte 840D for structural areas, matte 420D where weight needs to be kept down, and TPU with a Hypalon-like texture at abrasion-prone points. Note one important clarification: it is TPU with a Hypalon-like texture, not genuine Hypalon, which is a different and more expensive material.

The manufacturer does not state the weight of the empty bag, and we prefer to say so rather than estimate it. As an order of magnitude, a seven-liter TPU bag with a structural plate weighs under one kilogram, but that is our assessment, not a LOBOO specification.

Yes: the manufacturer specifies a U-shaped support plate that gives the pocket structure. That is precisely its purpose, because a half-empty, soft pocket attached to the side of a bag tends to sag and bang against the suitcase over every bump.

No. Only the 7-liter pouch is purchased, sold individually. The Wanderer panniers shown in the manufacturer's photographs are intended to demonstrate the mounting and are not included. If you need two pouches, one for each side, you must order two pieces.
