50 liters with internal U-plate: holds its shape even when half empty.
All you need to know before ordering
Technical specifications, equipment, delivery, and warranty: find every detail, verified against official LOBOO documentation, below.
The LOBOO Wanderer 50L solves the problem shared by almost all motorcycle dry bags: if you don't fill them to the brim, they collapse, and a half-empty bag that crumples up can't even be strapped down properly.
There's a backbone inside
The Wanderer incorporates a removable U-shaped support plate. The bag holds its shape whether full or half empty: the straps work against a stable volume, the load doesn't shift around, and the profile stays neat on the motorcycle's tail. It's the difference between luggage and a sack tied on top of the seat.
The roll-top that closes itself
The top edge has a patented embedded magnetic strip: roll it up and the flaps connect by themselves. No Velcro to align, and especially no Velcro that gets clogged with mud or catches on technical clothing. On the side is an air valve: when open, it lets excess air out and compresses the load; when closed, it keeps the bag sealed and secure.
Wet and dry, kept separate
A dedicated internal pocket isolates a soaked rain suit or dirty clothing from your sleeping bag and clean clothes. Anyone who has slept with a damp sleeping bag knows why that matters.
When you get off the motorcycle
The dual shoulder straps come out of a dedicated compartment, turning the bag into a backpack: useful for the last stretch on foot to the campsite or for entering a hotel without transferring anything. On the outside, the laser-cut MOLLE system accepts first-aid kits, water bottles, or tool pouches, while the reflective strips make you visible from behind in the dark.
Material and protection
The fabric is 0.65 mm 840D composite TPU, abrasion-resistant and, above all, flexible at low temperatures: inexpensive PVC becomes as stiff as cardboard below freezing and cracks along the folds. The protection rating is IPX6, meaning heavy rain and water jets, not immersion.
One clarification LOBOO makes, and that we want to repeat: the external quick-access pockets are water-resistant but are not IPX6-rated. Keep your phone, documents, and electronics in the main compartment.
Mounting
It attaches to the rear luggage rack or passenger seat of almost any motorcycle: the quick-release strap is included. However, clearance from the exhaust is required, so on motorcycles with a high-mounted exhaust close to the tail, check the available space first.
When it's not the right product
If you need protection for water crossings or immersion, this bag is not enough: the IPX6 rating covers rain and splashes. And if you're looking for more than 50 liters of capacity, this model doesn't offer it.
