Description Bump stops and clamps for aluminum handguards

Kit of six replacement accessories for the LOBOO handguard braces: two clamps, two anti-slip blocks, and two impact pads, enough for both sides of the motorcycle.

They fit LOBOO handguards only. They are not compatible with the motorcycle’s original handguards or those from other brands.

These are the sacrificial parts

The side impact pads protrude slightly beyond the handguard profile: in contact with a branch, a post, or asphalt, they are the first parts to touch and work by deforming. This is why LOBOO makes them replaceable rather than integrating them into the shield. After an impact, it is worth checking them: if they are crushed or marked, they have already done their job.

The clamps and blocks, on the other hand, are the small parts that can get lost during reassembly. Without this kit, replacing them would mean buying a complete set just to recover two components weighing a few grams.

In its purchasing instructions, LOBOO states that a complete handguard set consists of a motorcycle-specific bracket kit, shield, and brace kit, and that replacement parts must be purchased separately. This product code is classified as universal: the same accessories are used on sets for the BMW GS, KTM 790 and 890 Adventure, Husqvarna Norden 901, Benelli TRK 552X, CFMOTO 450MT, 700MT, 800MT and 800MT-X, and Triumph Scrambler 1200XE.

The kit includes all the small hardware for the arch: the two clamps that secure it to the handlebar collar, the two shaped blocks that wrap around it, and the two side bumpers that absorb impacts. In the assembly manual, these are items 3, 4, 5, 6, and 11.

These are the small parts that can be lost during reassembly or wear out with use, and without this kit would require buying a complete set. They are also the only components of the system designed to be sacrificial: they work by deforming.

When is it worth replacing it?

After an impact or a fall, when the pads are crushed or marked, they have already absorbed what they were designed to absorb. The same applies when parts are lost during disassembly, which is not uncommon with clamps and blocks. Replacing them costs a fraction of the price of a new shield.

Can I buy just the pads or just the clamps?

Do they need hardware for mounting?

The hardware is part of the bracket kit, not this one. If you are replacing worn parts, reuse the screws you already have, applying threadlocker. The torque specified by the manufacturer for the bow clamp is 10 N·m.
