Pair of folding motorcycle mirrors LOBOO RM01, right and left, with a 115 mm round lens: it is the only model in the range with a circular mirror, and it is also the tallest, measuring 241.4 mm from the stem to the upper edge.

Adapter kit required

The package contains the pair of mirrors: the motorcycle mounting hardware is not included and must be purchased separately with the adapter kit matching your mounting point. This applies to the entire LOBOO mirror range, with the sole exception of the version designed for BMW motorcycles with the LCW system.

The manual describes three alternative mounting methods, depending on the motorcycle's mounting point.

They fold along the handlebars

In narrow passages, in the garage, or during transport, the mirrors fold in and then return to position. The manual recommends paying attention to the offset angle between the right and left mirrors to prevent them from touching when folded.

Before installing them

What matters is not the motorcycle model but the thread of the original mirror: diameter, pitch, and thread direction. Several motorcycles use a reverse thread on the left side. Try threading it by hand for at least five turns: if you feel resistance, stop.

Lens note: it is spherical, so objects appear smaller and seem farther away than they really are. Keep this in mind when judging distances. Do not adjust the mirror while riding, and periodically check that the screws are tight.

The only one with the round lens

In the LOBOO range, all the other mirrors have a shaped lens. The RM01 is the only round one, 115 mm in diameter, with that classic design that looks better on a GS or scrambler than an angular shape.

It is also the tallest in the range, measuring 241.4 mm from the stem to the top edge: you gain visibility, but check the clearances if you often pass through narrow gaps.

The mirrors arrive without the mounting hardware for attaching them to the motorcycle: to install them, you need the adapter kit with the code corresponding to your mounting point, which is sold separately. This applies to the entire range except the RM02-1300.

The RM01 manual illustrates three alternative mounting methods, depending on the motorcycle’s mounting point.

The joint allows the mirror to fold along the handlebar: it is useful in narrow passages, in the garage, on the van, and in the event of a fall, it is the part that gives way instead of breaking.

The manual recommends offsetting the angle between the right and left sides slightly, so that when folded they do not touch.

The curvature broadens the field of view compared with a flat mirror and reduces the blind spot behind you.

The manufacturer itself points out the downside: objects appear smaller, and therefore farther away than they really are. Keep this in mind when assessing safe distances.

  • Rear-view mirrors are a safety device: after assembly, check the field of vision and tightness.
  • Use on public roads is subject to the Highway Code regulations regarding rear-view mirrors.
  • Periodically check the tightness of the stem and the folding mechanism.

Before ordering, please check:the mirrors are universal, but the mounting varies from bike to bike. In most cases, you will need the LOBOO adapter kit specific to your model, available on a separate page for a few euros.

How do I know if they fit my motorcycle?

The motorcycle model does not matter, but the original mirror screw does: its diameter, thread pitch, and thread direction. Several motorcycles use a reverse thread on the left side. Remove the original screw, compare it, and try to screw it in by hand for at least five turns: if you feel resistance, stop. If in doubt, send us the make, model, and year, and we’ll verify compatibility before you place the order.

Do I have to buy the adapter kit as well?

Yes. Without the adapter kit, the mirror cannot be installed on any motorcycle: the mounting hardware is not included in the package. The kit costs €4.50 and is specific to your motorcycle’s mounting system, so you need to choose the correct one. Use the selector at the top of this page: choose the make and model and add it to your order with one click. The only exception in the range is the version designed for BMW motorcycles with the LCW system, which comes complete.

How do I know which kit my motorcycle needs?

The selector at the top of the page covers 17 brands and around fifty models from the manufacturer's official list: select the brand and model, and it will show you the correct part number, price, and availability. Note two cases where the model alone isn't enough: for the CFMOTO 800MT, the kit varies depending on whether handguards are fitted, while for the KTM 1290 Super Adventure R, it varies by year. If your motorcycle isn't listed, write to us with the brand, model, and year, and we'll check before you order.

Is the hardware included?

No. The package includes the pair of mirrors, right and left; the hardware for attaching them to the motorcycle must be purchased separately with the adapter kit corresponding to your mounting system. This applies to RM01, RM02, RM03, and RM03-Lite; the only exception is the version designed for BMW motorcycles with the LCW system, which comes complete.

How much do they weigh, and how big are they?

Approximately 500 g per individual mirror. Round lens with a diameter of 115 mm, 177.2 mm arm, total height of 241.4 mm, depth of 69.7 mm, and 27 mm mounting stem. The manufacturer warns that the measurements are taken by hand and that the weight varies depending on the mounting accessories used.

Do they really fold up, and what happens if I fall?

Yes: the joint allows you to fold the mirror along the handlebar and return it to its original position. In the event of a fall, the joint gives way instead of the stem bending or breaking. The manual recommends slightly offsetting the angle between the right and left mirrors so that they do not touch when folded.
