Complete kit for KTM 1290 Super Adventure S and R from 2022 onward: the pair of JP251B side frames plus the two PIKE TRACKER aluminum cases measuring 45 and 38 liters, in the selected finish. One order, nothing to match up.

Why 45 liters on the left and 38 on the right

The exhaust runs along the right side. The right P38R case has an interior depth that tapers from 280 mm at the top to 200 mm at the bottom to clear it, which is why it holds 38 liters. The left P45L reaches 45 liters.

Dimensions and weights stated by LOBOO

  • Left P45L: interior 490 × 280 × 362 mm, overall 540 × 321 × 388 mm, 6.5 kg
  • Right P38R: interior 490 × 280/200 × 362 mm, overall 540 × 296 × 388 mm, 6.1 kg

The pair weighs 12.6 kg when empty, excluding the frames. These dimensions were measured manually, so some tolerance applies.

The frames and installation

The JP251B frames are installed in seven steps, removing and then reinstalling the side plastics and original luggage rack, with M8 bolts tightened to 20 and 18 N·m and threadlocker included. The parts list and sequence are on the KTM 1290 Super Adventure side frames page.

What is not included

The top case and the JP251W rear luggage rack are sold separately. Each case has its own sensor light in the lid: the kit includes two, one for each side.

Before ordering

If you already have the frames, you can purchase the cases alone from the PIKE TRACKER series page. LOBOO does not state a maximum load for each case: the motorcycle's maximum load specified by KTM applies.

For the 1290 Super Adventure, LOBOO offers five sets: the top case with a fixed or adjustable luggage rack, the pair of side cases with their frames, or all three cases together.

This kit is the side case set: JP251B frames plus P45L and P38R cases.

In the LOBOO table, the side-case set is listed for the KTM 1290 Super Adventure S and R from 2022 onward: left case plus right case, on PIKE TRACKER frames.

LOBOO states that it has a robust, flexible shell that is lighter, absorbs impacts better, and protects the contents.

The right pannier has a recess that clears the exhaust outlet. The lower corner is angled and has a thicker technical plastic coating: you gain clearance when cornering, and in a slide it protects the pannier.

The shell is assembled with rivets that are easy to remove. According to LOBOO, the accessories can be replaced separately, so a damaged suitcase can be repaired without replacing it.

Assembly and Notes

  • The kit includes side racks and a pair of panniers: the top case and its plate are not included.
  • Observe the maximum load per side rack indicated by KTM in the motorcycle's manual.
  • Recheck the tightening after the first 100-200 km and periodically with off-road use.
  • The load must not cover the license plate and tail lights or extend beyond the limits of the Highway Code.
  • If you're starting from scratch:it's the most straightforward solution, all compatible in a single order.
  • If you already have the JP251B frames:purchase only the cases from the PIKE TRACKER series page.
  • If you prefer semi-rigid luggage:the same frames accept the 40+30 litre WANDERER bags.

Compatible with KTM 1290 Super Adventure from 2022, R and S versions. For the top case, the JP251W plate is required, found on a separate page.
