Description BMW R 1300 GS Adventure Side Cases
Complete kit for BMW R 1300 GS Adventure from 2024 onward: a pair of JP151B side frames with mounting hardware, plus two PIKE TRACKER aluminum cases in a symmetrical 37+37 or 45+45 configuration, in the selected finish.
Pay attention to the version: JP151B frames are designed for the R 1300 GS Adventure. The standard GS requires the kit with JP131B frames, on a separate page: the two are not interchangeable, and this is the most common ordering mistake in the R 1300 range.
How to choose the configuration
- 37+37 — keeps the motorcycle narrower, which is noticeable on an Adventure that is already wide in technical sections and when maneuvering
- 45+45 — 90 liters of total capacity, for long trips or traveling two-up
LOBOO specifies a maximum load of 10 kg per side case, in both configurations.
Construction
- High-strength aluminum, with lower corners protected by structural plastic bumpers
- Key lock with a five-tumbler cylinder, removable and replaceable without changing the case
- Scratch-resistant inner lining and 3M reflective inserts on the outer side
- Finishes: polished silver or matte black, with the same construction
LOBOO states that the series is water- and dust-resistant, but does not publish an IP rating: we do not list one because it is not a manufacturer-certified specification.
Three case series on the same frames
The JP151B manual lists them for the PIKE TRACKER and CONQUEROR series; they also support the 40+40-liter semi-rigid WANDERER cases, which require an 18 mm tube. Starting with this kit, you can therefore switch in the future to the CONQUEROR C45L and C45R or to the semi-rigid cases without rebuilding the frame system.
Installation
No drilling is required. However, the manual calls for removing some original components in the tail section, including the seat and luggage rack, with one part to be refitted after installation. Final tightening must be done in sequence to 18 N·m on all M8 bolts, after completing the adjustments. With the short exhaust, the CPQ131 deflector is also required and is sold separately.
What is not included
The top case and its rear mounting plate are purchased separately. The LR06 LED light with sensor is supplied by LOBOO only with the three-case set, so it is not included in this kit.
