Waterproof heated motorcycle gloves with three temperature levels

Without either of these two items, the gloves remain ordinary winter gloves: warm because they are insulated, but without heating. Make sure you have the power supply before setting out on your first cold ride.

It depends on how long you’ll be out. The CP40Pro battery fits in the cuff pocket and leaves no cables hanging around: it’s the solution for commuting or a few hours out, with 2.5 hours on the low setting and 1.5 hours on the highest.

The power bank is for longer trips: the cables run inside the sleeve and under the jacket, and the capacity you choose determines how long it lasts. You need at least 15 W, preferably 18 W, plus the Y-cable.

The stated temperatures are measured at an ambient temperature of 0 °C: 34 °C at the low setting, 42 °C at the medium setting, and 50 °C at the high setting. The heat starts at the back of the hand and reaches the fingertips, which is where inexpensive heated gloves typically fall short.

The high setting is for warming up quickly during the first few minutes; afterward, it is best to lower it, both to extend battery life and to avoid stressing the skin.

They have a seamless TPU inner glove, meaning a continuous membrane instead of panels sewn together: this is where most rain gloves fail, because water enters through the needle holes.

The outer layer is made of windproof, water-repellent fabric. LOBOO does not state a water column rating or an IP rating, so we do not publish figures, but the construction is that of genuine rain gloves.

And the heating is warmer at all three levels: 34, 42, and 50 °C compared with 35, 39, and 45 for the previous model. In practice, the medium setting of the RST26 exceeds the maximum of the RST22.

The manufacturer is explicit: people with diabetes, circulatory problems, or sensitive skin should consult a doctor before using them. Children, older adults, and people with mobility difficulties should not use them without supervision.

The warning about low-temperature burns applies to everyone: if your hands are numb, you cannot feel heat properly, so start at the low setting and increase it only if necessary.

Follow the symbols printed on the inner label, which are the only valid reference. In all cases: always disconnect and remove the battery before washing, and allow it to dry completely before reconnecting the power supply.

Do not dry them on a radiator or with a hair dryer: direct heat damages the TPU membrane and heating elements.

LOBOO does not claim EN 13594 certification for this model, so we do not present it as personal protective equipment. It has hard knuckle protectors and a Kevlar lining on the palm, but the certification has not been published.
