Technical specifications, equipment, delivery, and warranty: below you’ll find every detail verified against the official DENALI documentation.

Description ECE R112-approved motorcycle LED spotlight, 582 m, two D3 lenses

Code DNLD3050 — DENALI code DNL.D3.050

90 mm LED auxiliary light with an approved driving beam: 2,100 lumens and a range of 582 metres at 1 lux with the spot lenses. It reaches farther than lights rated at twice the power, because what matters is the optics, not the wattage.

The package includes two lenses for each light, the spot and the hybrid: this is the TriOptic system. With two spot lenses, you get maximum range—582 metres over a 30-metre width; with one spot and one hybrid, you get the combo beam—463 metres over 53; with two hybrid lenses, you spread the beam to 69 metres wide, reaching 320 metres.

Unlike previous TriOptic lights, the beam here complies with regulations on both sides: hybrid lens approved to SAE/DOT J581 and ECE R112, spot lens approved to ECE R112. Three 11 W Cree XP-P LEDs, 9–32 V power supply, three-wire DataDim dimming, IP67 watertight housing.

Sold individually. DENALI's stated range figures are measured with a pair of lights installed.

Why choose it

  • Alimentazione 9-32 V e dimmerazione DataDim a 3 fili.
Who is it recommended for

Documents and manufacturer

How does it work, in detail?

  • Two lenses included with each spotlight: choose between maximum range and maximum width.
Two lenses in the same box: choose the beam

Two lenses in the same box: choose the beam

The TriOptic system includes both the spot lens and the hybrid lens with each spotlight. Mounting one spot and one hybrid on a pair gives you the combo beam: a 463-meter range and a 53-meter width. Two spot lenses reach 582 meters, while two hybrid lenses provide a 69-meter width.

An approved driving light beam, not an off-road spotlight

An approved driving light beam, not an off-road spotlight

Unlike previous TriOptic models, the D3’s hybrid beam complies with both SAE and ECE standards: it is a compliant auxiliary high beam in Europe and North America. The hybrid lens is marked SAE/DOT J581 and ECE R112, while the spot lens is marked ECE R112.

FAQs

For more information, see our FAQ of frequently asked questions.

How many lenses are included?

Two lenses for each light: the spot lens and the hybrid lens, both included in the package. This is the TriOptic system: choose the beam based on how you ride and replace them whenever you want, without special tools.

Is it better to install two spotlights or one spotlight and one hybrid?

It depends on where you drive. Two spotlights provide the maximum range, 582 meters, but with a narrow 30-meter-wide beam: they're suitable for straight roads. One spotlight and one hybrid light provide a combination of 463 meters of range and 53 meters of width, which is the best compromise on mixed roads. Two hybrid lights spread light over 69 meters while reaching 320 meters.

What’s the difference compared with the D3 fog light?

Same 90 mm body, different optics and regulations. This is an ECE R112-approved driving light, meaning an auxiliary high beam: it is designed to see farther. The D3 fog light is ECE R19-approved, with a wide, low beam and a sharp cutoff, and is intended for reduced-visibility conditions. They are complementary, not alternatives.

Can I assemble just one?

Yes, this product is sold individually. However, for road use, auxiliary headlights must be mounted in even numbers and symmetrically with respect to the motorcycle’s centerline: check what is required by the road traffic regulations of the country where you ride.
